Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish apartment. This cozy space offers fast internet, smart TV , a comfortable couch that folds into a bed , a sleek modern bathroom, a lovely kitchenette, black out curtains in the bedroom, a projector and remote controlled projector screen. We are pet friendly. Our apartment is on a quiet street and is only a 5 minuet walk away from Resha beach and is free to the public. Additionally, we are also closely located to many great restaurants and shops as main street Winsted is a 5 minuet drive away. The cozy apartment nicely fits 2 adults, a small dog and 1 child as the couch folds out into a bed and also has a tote with bedding supplied underneath it. Also, please bring a crate for your dog to stay in if they are to be left in the apartment while errands are being run.

It was a nice, clean 1 bedroom apartment attached to the host’s home. The bathroom was fancy and there was a cool projector to play movies and shows. It was perfect for a couple. The only advice I’d give for people looking is if you plan on storing a lot of cold things, bring a cooler for extra storage. But it was a very nice place, the host was good at communicating and accommodating. There was coffee and hot chocolate pods with a keurig and soap and towels provided. I would stay here again !

Great location.Close to town and the lake. Super clean, comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. Parking allows for easy access to the unit. Cute and quaint, perfect for a long weekend fall get away.

This was our second time staying here, and we absolutely love it! It’s the perfect little getaway spot for my husband and me, a cozy, comfortable stay for any couple. The bathroom is tidy and charming, and the bed is surprisingly comfortable! We were a little hesitant about the full bed since we have a queen at home, but both times we slept wonderfully all weekend.The location is also great—close enough to Goshen for the County Fair, which was the reason for our trip. We were excited to see a new upgrade since our last visit: a massive drop-down screen and projector in the bedroom. It made movie night feel like a private theater experience!Highly recommend—10/10!

Beautiful and restful

We enjoyed three nights at this location. Very clean and well decorated little hideaway very private. Any questions were promptly answered we would stay here again!!

Great Location

The property was very easy to find, and check in was simple! Although it is in someones home, we felt we had plenty of privacy! The space was very well decorated and a perfect place for a couple to escape to for the weekend!

Charming Pet Friendly Accommodations

Melissa was very easy to connect with, provided very clear directions for finding and entering the property. The property was just as described, very clean, nicely furnished and Melissa already had the AC running which both myself and little dog appreciated! It was perfect for our needs visiting with family in the area for the weekend.

We loved the brilliant use of space and all the amenities in this cozy hideaway. My husband, who owns a Professional Organization business, was very pleased and impressed by the clever use of various storage options. The walkways were attractively and effectively lit up for evening strolls and dog walking. All instructions were clearly communicated and our stay was lovely

Not enough ready flat surfaces

There was no place to hang clothing. The only furniture in the bedroom was the bed. A comfortable chair and small table with lamp would have been nice. The couch was only a very short distance from the propane fireplace and was the only place to sit and watch tv. Too hot.

Tiny little place

Very clean but very tiny. No heat despite cold nights. Landlord nice. Difficult to find property but not landlord fault, gps provides incorrect directions.

What a great little hidden gem! My husband and I were in town for a wedding and there was absolutely nowhere to stay! Stumbled upon this listing after scowering the internet and it was exactly what we needed. The decorations and little details were so inviting. It almost felt like staying in a little boutique hotel. The gas fireplace was such a nice touch especially since the day of the wedding happened to be a big snow storm. Melissa was quick to respond to me and made our stay super easy. Would most definitely stay here again if I found myself in Winsted. Thank you for having us!!!

Would have given an Overall Rating of 4 1/2 stars if possible. Melissa is very nice and responded quickly to inquiries and needs. A very clean and nicely decorated apartment. Bathroom is ultra-modern with rain shower heads. The "kitchenette" exists in a recess behind the French doors. There is no kitchen sink, prep space or eating area other than the narrow counter that is attached to the wall by the French doors and the vanity table in the bedroom. This was a minor inconvenience, but we made do. We would stay here again.

I don't recommend any body to stay at this property, is nothing like you see on the pictures , and I mean nothing.... plus we didn't get a full refund. We didn't stay not even 20 minutes.

Nice but problems

The pillows were so hard and heavy I had a sore neck and a headache after the first night so we had to buy pillows. There was absolutely no place to hang clothes or to put clothes. I had to buy an over the door rack and hangers. The sofa was very uncomfortable and it leaned forward making you feel as if you were sliding off. On a positive note...the really important thing for us was cleanliness and it was very very clean.

The only reason I gave this location a 4/5 stars and wish I could do a 4.5/5 stars is because of the air conditioning and water pressure in the shower. The water pressure is very low, but the bathroom is very nice. It was a bit warm in the apartment even with the air conditioner. I think it’s because of the location of the unit or the headboard being solid wood. Id suggest either moving the unit to another window or getting a headboard with slats in it, so there would be air flow. The apartment was decorated very nice and was quite spacious. I think 4 adults could definitely fit in this place! Very nice and quiet and overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The host was very accommodating to our 3 standard poodles.

This was perfect for a one night stay as a couple. It's very bright, inviting but private. The bed was comfortable and the gas fire place made it feel perfectly cozy. We enjoyed a few cups of hot chocoate that were provided while watching the TV that's above the fireplace. They had two place settings on a shelf with two stools beneath right next to the kitchenette area. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, single electric hot plate, and a Keurig machine. There weren't any pots of pans though. Not that I was planning on cooking anyway. It was a nice touch and they truly utilized the space so well. The bathroom is updated and pretty. Inside the shower, there was a soap dispenser with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner as well as a mounted and foldable teak bench. Everything was tidy and clean. There's also a mini ironing board in the bedroom that's mounted behind a mirror. I didn't notice if there was an iron though. The bedroom also had a desk with a mounted pivot mirror for putting on makeup. Seated on the side of the desk was a hair dryer with a coat rack in the corner. The place is only a couple of minutes from the main road which has great restaurants. I would definitely book here again when in the area.
