Escape to a world of luxurious relaxation at this stunning vacation cottage pool house! Nestled in a lush 5-acre estate surrounded by picturesque pastoral views, this exclusive retreat offers a serene and private escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
As you step into the second-story cottage, you'll be greeted by panoramic views of the sparkling 24 x 48-foot modern salt pool, kiddie pool, and spa, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking countryside scenery. Spend your days lounging on the sunny full-length patio or relaxing in the deeply shaded pavilion complete with barbeque facilities, comfortable cushioned patio furniture, and a cozy outdoor stone fireplace. You'll also have access to a second pool bathroom and shower, providing the ultimate in convenience and comfort.
Inside, the cottage boasts a spacious bedroom with a plush queen pillow-top mattress, sumptuous down pillows, and luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The adjoining all-tile bathroom features a large double-headed shower, granite countertops, and a convenient extra-large capacity washer and dryer.
The modern kitchenette is a culinary dream, equipped with a large farm-style apron front sink, convection microwave oven, Fagor Double Burner Induction cooktop, new Sur La Table Tri-Ply Stainless Steel cookware, beautiful porcelain dishes, high dishwasher, double-drawer refrigerator freezer with ice maker, ample white cabinets, travertine backsplash, and granite countertop, all in neutral colors that create a charming old-world look.
The living room, with darkly stained hand-hewn beams and walnut-colored genuine hardwood floor, is surrounded by windows that offer breathtaking views of the pool and surrounding countryside. The pool house was very comfortable and clean. My wife and I had a lovely time staying here over the New Year. It had everything we needed and more. I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail that went into this property. The hot tub and fireplace were very nice and perfect for us on a rainy day. The surrounding property was beautiful and charming as well, with some goats and mini horses we could watch through the window. The owners supplied us with some fresh eggs from their chickens, and we picked up a couple of the delicious oranges that were falling off the tree in the back. Apart from the owner introducing herself when we arrived, we had a ton of privacy. We would definitely come back here, maybe in the summer to take advantage of the pool. The owners even put out a bottle of wine on the table for us, which we didn't end up drinking, but this was just another nice surprise among many that we experienced during our stay here.

The pictures do not do this property justice! The grounds are meticulously maintained. It feels like you are at a resort. House was fairly clean- there is mold in the shower and both couches were stained to the point of needing to be cleaned or replaced. The little touches such as crystal coasters and fresh eggs in the fridge were appreciated. Top of the line appliances and fixtures. Very secluded but still close to town. We were looking forward to the hot tub but it was not working. Texted but no reply.

Our stay at the Cottage Pool House exceeded our expectations. Beautiful landscaping and wide walkways that were well lighted at night. Our Fall weekend included a brief storm but that just added to our appreciation of the spacious cottage. Well stocked kitchen (fresh farm eggs)with high end modern appliances throughout the home. Massive walk in double shower, plenty of deluxe towels - no scrimping here! Host was attentive and heated the spa which we had all to ourselves. A 5 star vrbo with all the bells & whistles! Hope to return soon. Great area to explore history, vineyards (Wise Villa's restaurant) and hike to nearby Hidden Falls. Naggiar Vineyard is also a favorite for events each Saturday night. Close to a variety of shopping experiences. So much to do in this area and this cottage is easy to access to it all plus enjoy time together spent in relaxation. Dining table was decorated with a romantic touch for us with a bottle of cab and 2 wine glasses surrounded by fresh cut Fall flowers from the garden. Will not hesitate to return.

Oasis in Auburn

Spent a few days in this oasis tucked away from the world. Beautiful grounds, great pool, and cozy living quarters. Though we didnā€™t see Robert or Jeanne our whole stay, our fridge had farm fresh eggs when we got there and they were attentive, asking if we needed anything.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend here, I wished we could have stayed longer! The hosts were very friendly, the pool house was cozy and clean. This was an awesome let get away for the family. Beautiful little cottage and gorgeous grounds. Our little dog loved visiting the chickens. I was it didnā€™t rain so much during our time there. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Stay

This could not have been a better stay. The pool house and surrounds are just beautiful. The cottage is so lovely, built with beautiful cabinets and lots of light. It is well-furnished, and includes a kitchen that holds everything that we needed to cook several meals there. Our hosts were very responsive, and clearly wanted to make our stay as positive as possible. We felt so well taken care of! My husband and I felt so appreciative to spend our weekend in such comfort and beauty. We will return!

Great place, great hosts

Jeanne and Bob were exceptional hosts. We had a problem with VRBO not showing our reservation, the hosts were great about communicating with us. The property is thoughtfully put together and well-appointed (we've stayed at places where basics like handsoap, trashbags, toilet paper, etc. weren't stocked...not the case here!). The property is easy to get to, but you really feel like you're off the beaten path and many of the amenities make it feel like a luxurious space. Well-worth a weekend getaway!

Dream Getaway

This property has just about everything Iā€™d want in my dream house: beautiful landscaping, pool, hot tub, outdoor living area, outdoor entertaining area, garden, fountains, fire pit, volleyball, basketball, and beautiful interiors. The host was on site, readily available to meet needs, but also invisible. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. Note, there are lots of stairs. My sister had some trouble with climbing stairs so was a little inconvenient for her. I would recommend in a heartbeat.

Little slice of Heaven

This is a wonderful get away or place to land while exploring Auburn and surrounding areas. Upon walking in the gated area, you will be swept away with the view of the stunning pool with the Cottage behind it. So European! Gardens full of aromas throughout the day and evening, birdsong. The Cottage is charmingā€¦feels perfectly French in every wayā€¦I loved the refer/freezer combo and the induction stove. Very comfortable bed and furniture. It is light and bright with windows everywhere and blinds when you need them. Completely private, there are places to entertain (I hosted a luncheon for 3 birthday friends catered by a nearby Chef). It was perfect. The pool. It is delightful with an old-school diving board and itā€™s deep! Perfect for those who love to tread water as I do. I do not have one complaint. The hosts generously shared their farm fresh eggs and a lovely bottle of red was waiting on the table. How much did I love this Cottage full of charm? I booked it again for 10 days next month!
