It is a quiet, peaceful place to truly be able to unplug and reconnect. The hosts allowed us to pick fresh lemons for lemonade and enjoy their beautiful yard! Truly a place to enjoy

Beautiful, well maintained home and property equipped with everything you need and more. Gorgeous gardens, fresh eggs await in the fridge, BBQ options galore and beautiful pool to swim in and relax by. A hidden gem in the quiet, county setting. Highly recommended should you find yourself in the Auburn area.

Amazing!

We had so much fun here. The property is absolutely stunning. We had fun spending one of our days at the pool and multiple nights in the spa. We were greated with farm fresh eggs and a bottle of wine. We fell asleep to the sounds of chirping frogs. We have stayed at a handful of VRBO’s and this one was well stocked with everything we could need or didn’t have. My kids loved our stay and are wondering when we can go back.?

Auburn getaway!

This house was amazing. Beautiful yard, amazing views, and located just far enough from town to have everything you need nearby and still feel a bit secluded. Bob had something cooking in the smoker which filled the yard with something delicious! Both he and Jean were a pleasure to meet and chat with a bit. All in all a great trip and awesome property!

Wonderful and Relaxing

This was such a relaxing stay! The gardens and pool area are beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with every type of utensil, small appliance, or dinnerware you could want. We arrived later in the evening and walked in to find a lovely bottle of wine and fresh flowers waiting for us! In addition, the dozen farm fresh eggs Jean left in the frig were a welcome treat! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay again! Thanks for the enjoyable stay Jean and Bob!

Stay in the country & be mins from town

Terrific small apartment over a lovely country property. We particularly enjoyed the large hot tub. Our only challenge was finding the door. We communicated with the owner and quickly found the correct door. (They have more than one apartment for rent on either side of their lovely pool.) Comfortable bed! Definitely would stay here again. : )

The pool was fabulous!

We stayed in the Carriage Loft for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The loft was clean and the bathroom had a great selection of hair products and body wash. The bed was very comfortable and my husband took advantage of the cozy robes for our use during our stay. The pool is fantastic and there is even a toddler pool which our 3 year old granddaughter loved. We barbequed and ate outside by the pool every night. The only drawback was the lack of non breakable serveware to use for food. We would definitely return for another visit!

Carriage Loft

We really enjoyed the location of the carriage loft! It was close to town and stores but felt serene and private. The loft itself was well appointed and clean. There were some repairs that could be made, but nothing that impacted our stay or would prevent us from returning- for sure! All provisions for a full kitchen were included and the linens/towels were plenty and nice. My only real complaint is that the hot tub was not heated, one of the main reasons that I wanted to stay there. On the other hand, I'm sure if we would have made that known, it could have been heated for our second night at least, but we didn't notice till then. The owners Jean and Bob were lovely and Bob let us tour the carriage house, which was even more charming than the carriage loft. Next time we will stay there for sure!

Met Our Needs

We rented this loft for two nights before New Years with our two Border Collies. It is a small but very nice setup that was perfect for us. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfy bedroom. The grounds are gorgeous and would be great for a summer stay. The reason I did not give it 5 stars was the frustrating and irrational heating system. There are three units in the ceiling which gave adequate coverage but the remote controls were horrible. It was extremely difficult to set them unless you set a timer hidden under the sliding compartment on each remote control. Every time you wanted to make a change you had to reset the timer, the fan, and the mode. The owner has an app to control everything remotely and said we could contact her if we had problems. Rather than do that, we opted to struggle on our own. Also, when we arrived at check-in time, the units had not been turned on so it was feeezing cold and took hours for the unit to warm up all the space. Aside from the heating system everything else was great.

Not what it seems & unreasonable hosts.

The first night we were there we were awakened in the middle of the night by a strong smoke smell from nearby fires. The poor air quality was rising quickly. After it reached 300 we messaged our hosts for help with no response so called hotels to get out of the area. We struggled to breath easily. We left early in the morning after only being there a few hours. The air quality reached 500 a few hours later. We were grateful to have left. They responded hours later that the smoke will clear our soon, which was nebulous, unhelpful & not true. They said it was up to VRBO to give a refund. VRBO said it was up to the owner. The owner said they would not refund for fire/smoke issues. We had not used the place, put the sheets in the washer for them & did not return. We were charged for all 4 days. Finally they advertised the pool & hot tub but know that you have to pay a lot to have the pool heated and there are restrictions around the hot tub not to mention it is cold & you have to wait hours for it actually heat up. This place was not what it seemed from the description. The hosts were uncaring, unreasonable & unhelpful.

Exceptionally clean. Communication with owners was great. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the well kept and clean pool. Beautiful and relaxing. We will be back for the carriage loft, and might try the pool house option next time. Thank you!

A little slice of Heaven

We loved our stay! The property was as beautiful in person as pictured online. The owners were friendly and upon arrival we had a welcome bottle of wine & beautiful eggs from their chickens. We were only there for the weekend but it felt like a longer holiday. We spent an entire warm sunny Saturday enjoying their gorgeous pool. It was delightful! The space was lovely, the bed was super comfy, the A/C worked great and having a W/D was a plus! Many other essentials were provided as well. We holiday in rental homes regularly and this definitely stands out with lovely little touches. We had a wonderful stay!

Pure heaven

From the moment you drive up, this is the most wonderful experience,, The grounds are like living in a photograph,,just picture perfect, Walk ways to the most beautiful pool areas, magical, inviting, calming for the soul. We have had 9 feet of snow,,,we needed a break from the ice,,, Perfect place to land, The loft we rented was cozy, lots of room, bed was comfy. It was perfect, we had flowers and wine waiting,,, and a dozen of farm fresh eggs,,nice welcoming touch,, Then the owners,,, oh my,, they are kind, thoughtful, easy to communicate with,they were there when ever you had a question . But very respectful of your space,,, We are definitely going back,,,a class set up for pampering your self… Very safe place to bring your dog, gated areas keep them safe.. Blessings to the hostess

Absolutely Beautiful!

We stayed in the Carriage Loft. Modern, clean and very comfortable. No detail overlooked to ensure happy guests. But that’s just part of the story. The setting, with the main house, pool, pool cottage, and park-like landscaping, is absolutely beautiful!
