Sandpiper Cove is a 43 acre gated resort in Destin, Florida that has just about everything you could want in a resort destination. Amenities include 5 pools, a 9-hole par 3 golf course, lighted tennis courts, private beach access, and horse shoes. 


Sandpiper Cove is located on Holiday Isle in Destin which is centrally located to all the shopping, dining, fishing, and amusements this area has to offer. Sandpiper Cove Resort is perfect for any type of group vacation, church gatherings, family reunions or just a normal family getaway. The beach is private for Sandpiper Cove guests, and includes a pavilion that serves food and drinks. There are also BBQ grills located onsite for your convenience. Come to Sandpiper Cove where fun is around every corner, and the beach is your backyard.

Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Perfect place! The walk to the beach was short and easy. We are at the beach bar The Sand Flea pretty much everyday and the security/staff were all very nice and helpful! We will definitely stay here again! However we could not get in touch with the property host to figure out to get the 1 free admin tickets that came included with the rental.

Condo was clean. TV was stuck on one channel but wasn’t that big of a deal as we ended up playing board games anyway. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Location!

The condo was perfect for us. Kitchen and all needed utensils. Located within short walking distance to the beach. Chair/Umbrella rentals for condo renters only were very nice and not overly priced. On beach bar/grill, bathrooms, shower area were all very convenient. Will definitely book here again.

We had a wonderful time. The condo was close to the beach and pools. Perfect weather for our stay. Close to shops, restaurants and tourist areas. Not much room for storage in the unit but we were there for a month and had alot of stuff. Thanks for the memories.

We were given no info about Sandpiper cove. Did not get a map of the area until we asked after being there several days. That should have been in the unit. Never have been anywhere where we did not get info inside the unit. Calling the golf course as a golf course was a real joke. Did not know about the community center until the day before we left. And, they were resurfacing the area when we were there. It felt like we were in their way! The unit was nice, but on the second floor. Hard for people in their 70s. We also were dismayed to see that there was no alternate exit out the back in case of a fire, and no sprinkler system. Is that even legal? Miss Brenda was so helpful. She is a gem.

It was just as described. Has everything you need. Fold out couch could be a little more comfortable but it did the job. However the bed is super comfy. I would stay again.

Never again

The fold out bed's mattress was so thin the springs poked thru . Only a sheet was over the springs. The bedroom was just the size of a walk in closet. Only about six inches on each side to get in and out. No night stands or lamps. Furniture doesn't match and a narrow bench was the coffee table. It was a terrible place. Floor was so dirty we had to wear shoes to not get our feet dirty. Shower had a slick floor and no grab bars.
