This 4,400 sq foot lake house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 car garage, and a large basement- so there is plenty of room for everyone! It sleeps at least 12 people with its 2 King, 2 Queen, 2 Full, and 1 Twin size beds. There is option for additional people on couches or room to accommodate air mattresses. Open kitchen floor plan. Large back patio to relax and watch the kids play in the huge backyard! Its full basement brings plenty of entertainment with a pool table, air hockey table, ping pong table, and board games! Fast (600MB) Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, and Disney Plus are also available! Perhaps its best feature is the flat walkway to the boathouse- a rare find at Hyco Lake!

If you want to venture out, this house has easy access to the freeway to get to the Virginia International Racetrack, Roxboro, Danville, Semora, Milton, Durham and other local towns. The property is also close to a boat ramp, boat shop, marina, and a convenient store.

Great weekend getaway

This spot was the perfect place for our guys trip. Even with mediocre weather, it really was impossible not to have a great time. Owners were very responsive and communicative, the amenities were endless, and the property was in great shape. Really looking forward to renting it again in the future.

We Keep Coming Back!

We love this property!! We’ve been coming here for a car event for the last 2 years and i swear we look forward to coming to this house as much as the car event at VIR! Such a wonderful home and the grounds are up kept so well. the lake is just stunning and just wonderful to take a dip in or cruise along on the paddle boards! Can’t wait to come back again! PS- the owners are the best! we had an unexpected delay and they helped us out with the process with extending our stay!!

Great House!

We were there for the Blue Ridge Rock Festival and dispite the festival being canceled for the last 2 days we were still able to enjoy our time because we stayed at this house. The basement game room was awesome! Thanks!

Browning Thanksgiving

We loved the spaciousness as well as separate areas that permitted 3 different family groups to stay at the house. We feasted, watched & played football, crafted, and played in the game room. We were able to include our daughter's family that lives nearby and is caring for a terminally ill child. This home facilitated us having such a wonderful time together as family.

Family vacation, 2023

Everything about this home and property is fantastic! It’s very spacious and beautifully decorated! The home is in excellent condition. Our hostess thought of everything! There was coffee for us to use. They were paper towels, and toilet paper aplenty! Each shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bathroom drawers, even had toothpaste and toothbrushes and razors, in case we had forgotten our own. There were even condiments in the fridge and a few staples in the pantry that we were able to use. There was laundry detergent and fabric softener. Instructions on how to get in the house, and how to leave it at check out were specific and easy to understand. The location was great, and the lake views were incredible! Our family vacations together every summer. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock, and we were pleased to find so many fun items in the boathouse for our use! We will definitely be booking here again!

June fun

VERY clean, stocked with supplies and organized. If you appreciate clean towels, sinks, drains, windows, and linens this is the best place for you. Welcoming, comfortable furniture in living areas and bedrooms. PLENTY of space in kitchen for prepping meals, dining for our family of 14. Beautiful deck, furniture and lawn to play games. Dock is safe clean with furniture. Swimming is wonderful in this quiet area of the lake. Water amenities excellent all in excellent condition! Jackets rafts etc. Fishing catches were Big large mouth bass and catfish. Laundry appliances for use all products provided. Kitchen SO well stocked. Everything! Basement rooms super large clean and fun game tables. Highly recommend!! Will definitely return whenever we can! All adults and children give the memory maker high praise and 5 stars. Thank you Schultz family for your trust and willingness to share this property Tom and Rhonda

The Memory Maker Spoiled US!!!

Our family of 11, ages 13-80, gathered at the "Memory Maker" for a long weekend in June 2024. We found the house even more spacious than the photos depicted. And immaculate! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking big breakfasts every morning, and the separate coffee bar was a real hit! Plus Millie's Pizza was as good as ever! Everyone enjoyed the game room downstairs, and my grandsons patiently tried to teach their 80 yr. old grandmother to play pool.....I can still hear the laughter!!! The flat lot with lighted sidewalk to the boathouse is soooo nice, especially since we were fishing everyday till after dark! We caught bream, catfish, and bass right from the boat dock. (Advised by local to fish with Slim Jims!) During the day, we enjoyed using the paddleboards and various floats available, along with renting a pontoon boat locally. We are in total agreement that the "Memory Maker" will be our #1 choice in the future! It's perfect!!!

50/70……50th anniversary/ 70th birthday.

A great house that offers all the amenities that will make a large group very comfortable. The boat house and lake are awesome for boating, fishing or just paddling around on kayaks and paddle boards in this quiet cove. Enjoy the evening sunsets over the lake while sitting around the fire pit.

Simply Perfect

The first thing we said when we walked in the door was "This is probably the best lake house we've ever stayed in". The location, the incredibly clean house, the huge dock and all the thoughtful touches and amenities - there is nothing bad I can say about our experience here. Our host Amanda was so thoughtful - from leaving a sweet care package/note to helping us with the WIFI to all the simple touches that made our stay so amazing - we will 100% come here again!!!
