You’ll appreciate the tranquility and low traffic of this expansive lake! It's a fantastic spot for fishing, offering excellent catches of bass, pike, perch, catfish, crappie, and bluegill. A historic 100-year-old dam graces the scenic, wildlife-rich wooded shoreline, enhancing the area’s charm. Enjoy canoeing, tubing, and kayaking along the rivers that connect to the lake.

This spacious home has recently been beautifully remodeled and features large common areas with stunning lake views. There's a game room, ample quiet spaces, and plenty of gathering spots for everyone in your group.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of room to enjoy activities, including a small private sandy beach area perfect for relaxing by the water. Two expansive decks provide ideal spots for family gatherings and soaking up the sun. The lakefront fire pit, along with yard games, outdoor cooking and dining areas, and a dock for your boat and fishing, make it an ideal retreat.

Conveniently located, Firekeepers Casino is just 25 minutes away, and you'll find 30 golf courses within 25 miles. The Binder Zoo is only 20 minutes away, and an alligator sanctuary is just 12 minutes from your doorstep. Parks, shopping, dining, and movie theaters are also within easy reach.

PLEASE NOTE:
One of the listed bedrooms is a small room ACCESSED THROUGH ANOTHER BEDROOM.
It is separated by glass French doors with blinds and has a view over the lower deck of the lake. It only has a small daybed and end tables. Perfect for guests with younger children they want close.

This has caused issues with sleeping arrangements for guests in the past not noticing it in bedroom descriptions.

Great time at the lake

Great Lake place

Family trip

Cottage was clean and located on a quiet lake. The kids loved the beach and water pad. Owner was really nice and helpful. My whole family enjoyed our stay

Beautiful home. Smaller than I thought it would be. The fifth bedroom is in a closet type area-good enough for a child but not another adult. The owner was amazing. Very prompt with any questions I had. Very well stocked kitchen. The beach and lake are wonderful. Sandy bottom lake-able to walk out, float and swim. Very clean.

A great little lake!

We had a great time at this lake house. The small beach was ideal for our kids to play safely, and there were plenty of outdoor and indoor accommodations to keep everyone entertained, including a great game room. The place was clean and updated, making our large group feel comfortable and at home. We're already looking forward to planning our next visit!

Great Family Getaway

We loved the whole experience! Great house, yard, and lake. We rented the pontoon boat as well. The house had everything we needed including kitchen accommodations, deck seating, and water toys. The host was great and communication was always quick. Highly recommend this property!

Definitely recommend!!

This property is perfect for families of any ages! Great amenities with so many extras. The beds, furniture and decorations are awesome!The kids were catching fish right from the dock. Lots of seating and a excellent cooking space. We will definitely come back!

Lakehouse getaway

Very clean and beautiful lake views. Games for kids, both indoor and out. Kids enjoyed the small sand beach area. Quiet cove. Minimal boat traffic. Would recommend.

Great House with Beach

We stayed with a group of 8, including two kids. We all enjoyed the house and the sandy beach. Plenty of yard games and fishing to keep everyone happy. The house itself is very nice and the layout works well for families, with bedrooms and bathrooms split on two levels.

Loved the sandy beach and lake; warm and we got lots of play time in on it. Many water inflatables and two kayaks to enjoy. House is nice and modern but a little oddly put together. Easy to trip when using pass through hall in lower area. Stone steps to get into house are tricky to navigate, especially when packing/unpacking. Be sure to bring your own trash bags, extension cords, beach towels (they have 4), ropes if you want to tie off water floats, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.

We had a great week at the lake house for a family vacation meet-up with 7adults and one infant. The house was plenty big to not feel cramped but still come together for fun and family time. The arcade game was a hit as well as the other games! Being right on the water was fun and we loved using the pontoon boat to just cruise around and do a little fishing as well. The lake was not overly busy and we really liked that! My son and I used the canoes several times and really enjoyed that. The Aqua Lily Pad was great too. We liked using the fire table on the lower deck and the upper deck was so peaceful in the morning with the sunrise. Ed was very helpful with communicating about the property and went above and beyond to help us! We also took a side trip to the Binder Zoo which I would recommend for a nice day trip. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Family Vacation

This property has great unobstructed views of the lake. Two large porches. Lots of lake toys including kayaks. Bunk room with four double beds. AC works great! We had to contact the host with a few questions and he was quick to respond.

Arrival condition compared to listing photos had many pro and cons. Indoors was very clean, yet had unfinished or damaged spots (ceiling in living area and fire mantel) There are only 4 actual bedrooms. Supposed 5th bedroom is a futon behind two French doors connected to one of the downstairs bedrooms (this created an issue with sleeping arrangements)

Thank you for your review. There was a small leak on the fireplace flashing ahead of your stay that was repaired. We opened that piece of breadboard, which was only a few feet long and only opened a crack from the ceiling so it would dry and not cause a mold issue. It will get a couple nails placed back in it this Saturday. As for the 5th bedroom issue, it states in the listing that the room is accessed through bedroom 4. We’ll take a look and see if there is a different way to bring attention to this.

4 generation family vacation

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation, with 4 generations, staying at Ed’s house. We also rented his pontoon boat and went playing and fishing on the lake. The kids loved the sand beach area, and we loved that the water near the dock and out from the sand was shallow with a gradual depth increase, it made us feel much more safe with the little kids playing in the water. We had fun riding the kayaks, and the kids loved the Lilly pad that was in the shed. The game room was stocked with lots of fun games we could play together as a family. Over all, this place was fantastic, Ed was great!!!! We are already looking forward to return trips!!!

Friend Vacation

One of the reasons that we chose this property was due to boat availability which was offered by manager. A week before the vacation, we were notified that the boat rental was not available due to issues with insurance/lawyers. Very disappointed as that was one of the must haves when we were looking to rent.

We are very sorry about the boat and take full responsibility for it not being available although we never imagined t would be so hard to make this happen. The boat actually became available and available on Boatsetter the last afternoon you had at the lake. Should you be in the area for a stay again, remind us of this and we’lol make it up to you. I hope other than the boat, your vacation was great!

Great place

My family really enjoyed their stay! This had one of the best stocked kitchens weve experienced and a lot of extras like several serving spoons and spatulas. A lot of thought was put into this house..there are night lights perfectly placed for kids and hard floors downstairs for coming in from the beach. Both decks were great to use with awesome views. It had lots of seating and beds had comfortable pillows. Very quiet and big lake. The house has a pier and sandy beach front along with a fire pit. A lot of extra bonuses. The owner was very responsive and messaged to make sure we had everything. This had everything we hoped for with

Great lake house

This was a wonderful location for our family reunion. We had nine adults and three babies/toddlers. Ed was very helpful at communicating, and replied right away to any questions that I sent. We spent several happy days just hanging around the lake. The shed is well stocked with beach, yard, and water toys – and two kayaks – which we enjoyed. We cooked dinner on the grill and enjoyed games, eating and resting on the plentiful deck seating. One day, we went to the Binder Park zoo, but the rest of our 5-day stay we were very happy just relaxing by the lake, which was peaceful and not overcrowded or noisy. The kitchen is updated and well-stocked, and a pleasure to cook in. The lower level game room is in process now, and looks like it will be very fun once it's finished. The bunk room could hold a family-full of kids. The fifth bedroom is more of an alcove off of one of the other bedrooms, so it didn't work as well for us as a full bedroom for an independent family, but we used it for a baby in a pack-and-play. So glad we found this home!

Peaceful and relaxing

Neighborhood is very quiet. We just went there to relax and take in sunshine, so it was exactly what we needed. It was just my hubby and me, so we just sat on the upper deck and played games most of the time like we enjoy. Although we never went in the water, if you like going in the water, there's a decent size sand area for entering/exiting the water. Plenty of seating outside including lounge chairs and a comfy sofa for watching movies inside. Kitchen has all the amenities you'd expect for a VRBO rental. Bedroom has a ceiling fan, which was a big plus because we like a fan at night. Lots of closet space, linens were clean, beds comfy yet firm enough and pillows were plush. It's a small town with a family owned grocery, a couple gas stations, and a dollar store. We had forgotten a few grocery items and everything was 5 minutes away. It's plenty of space for a few couples, a family, or a group of friends. Ed is very nice and was very responsive when we had questions.

Family Week

We rent a lake house every year, usually somewhere new. Had basically all our needs for cooking, sleeping, fun, water, and just to relax. We usually come well prepared but we didn't have to dig into our own stash of things for much. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, cooking/serving items. The place was spacious enough for everyone to spread out with a larger living room for everyone to come together for meals/games. Ed is a great communicator and is quick to respond. We did not rent the pontoon from End but brought our own boat and rented Jetskis from a local company one day, which was great. We rented last week of June and water was already very warm, as the lake is so shallow. Lake is clean and not weedy/mucky until you get a bit farther out. Kids loved the game room and the bunkbeds. Having multiple washer and dryers at a Lakehouse was amazing!The only Cons we really noticed: Decks/yard needs to be sprayed for bugs (not mosquitos, just bugs) as they easily get in the house, especially opening doors at night. Kitchen is stocked with crockpots, pans, blonder and so many things but not a casserole dish and we plan a lot of single pan meals for such a large group. Finally, the gas grill could be bigger or they could have 2 grills. The house is great that it sleeps so many people, but having a smaller grill means having to cook in much smaller batches. Overall, we loved our stay. We were there for 5 minutes and ALL the kids asking if we could rent it again 4 next year!!
