Short and sweet stay

House was great and view was amazing. Well stocked with everything we could need. Heat was a little hard to manage in the bedrooms on the main floor but we got by. Overall a great stay.

The view from this home was beautiful, and its location within the community really made it feel special—had it been elsewhere, it wouldn’t have had the same impact. The house itself was very clean and well cared for.The game room and extra living room were absolutely essential for our large group. The younger generation could play, be loud, and burn off energy in their own space after dark, while others were able to rest quietly upstairs. The soundproofing between the basement and upper levels was surprisingly good. The dining room table comfortably accommodated 10 people when using the leaves, and the bar seating with three stools was a great bonus for extra seating and gathering space. A few important things for future guests to be aware of: the driveway is fairly steep, and with snow it took time to figure out safe and workable parking options. The hot tub was a nice feature, but it is very open and visible to nearby neighbors, which may feel uncomfortable if privacy is important to you.The stairs were a challenge for members of our group with knee and hip issues. There isn’t a way to avoid them—accessing the kitchen requires going up stairs, and getting to the car requires going down. This made daily movement more difficult for us and is something mobility-limited guests should seriously consider before booking.Overall, the home worked well for a large group in terms of space, layout and location.

Overall, this is a beautiful home. As a group we will probably not return to this house because we are all in our 70's and the stairs are just too much! Getting into the house was difficult having problems with the proper code. Once we got that figured out, it went much more smoothly. The communication with the managers of this home is absolutely fantastic. They are very quick to respond and very helpful and congenial. I had to communicate with them several times and they never acted like i was bugging them although i felt like i was! If i was younger and the stairs weren't such an issue this would be a perfect getaway! The hot tub is amazing! We thought we were being rained on while in there and discovered it was the the sprinkler system! Gave us quite a laugh!

Fun Family Get Away

We stayed here and had a great time! Property was exactly as listed and perfect for our multi family vacation. The property was clean and well taken care of. The deck was the perfect spot to watch the storm that passed through our last night there. The games in the garage were a hit with everyone and impressed with how clean the hot tub was. The pool was in walking distance and it was nice that you can access it all day. I would definitely stay here again.

Short but Sweet Summer Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this well appointed house. Perfect for two families and 4 kids. We enjoyed the lovely view and the activity center pool and also spent some time down at Speelyi Beach. Great communication from the property manager. Nice clean house. Well organized with all the basics.

Super Bowl party in the snow

Our group always travels somewhere to have a Super Bowl party. This year we decided to go to the snow. Had to give this place a 4 star for online accuracy because this place was way more gorgeous than advertised!

Beautiful

The property is well maintained and when we had any issue there was a quick response and resolution to any issues. The view was gorgeous from the main room and there was plenty of room for our 8 adults. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a getaway with frienda

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Found the Huckleberry Hill home while looking for a spot nearby but still far enough away to feel like we were on vacation. The house was amazing! From having matching number of bedrooms to bathrooms, to the hot tub, to the incredibe views, to the gas fireplace on the porch that makes a perfect spot for your morning coffee or after dinner drink, to the game room filled with all sorts of games to fit all desires this house was the perfect spot! Our group of friends like to take long weekend getaways and this was voted as one of the top if not the top place we have ever stayed in. It also makes for a hidden gem of a spot to visit if you are coming from farther away. It is centrally located to small towns with great little shops, distillery, atv and snowmobile company, coffee shops and cafes and great restaurants. There were lots of little details to make sure our stay was perfect and the rental company was very responsive to questions. We definitely want to come back.

Beautiful Cabin!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a beautiful place and perfect for our family! We rented the cabin mid November and got around 18 inches of snow while we were there! It was amazing! You can also sled right on the property, which was so much fun for our entire group! We didn't even have to leave! The hot tub and game room were perfect too! The rooms are spacious and I love that we were able to control the temp of each room too! Very clean and I highly recommend this cabin! Management was very responsive too! Would definitely rent this again because it was perfect for our family with several kids too!Also, really make sure you have a good winter car because the driveway is steep and can be dangerous if there's lots of snow and cold temps.
