Beautiful home with wonderful amenities. Host was very helpful in all aspects of the booking and had great recommendations of what to do in the area. What stood out was the flexibility they showed us with the booking times to accommodate our needs. Highly recommended stay!

Relaxing family vacation

This house was wonderful! Great views all around, house was well stocked with anything we could have needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub with river views and the large deck! Host was great with communication and also provided amazing local suggestions for activities and food.

Beautiful comfortable home.

Great property, Kendall was great at communicating and responding to all questions. Home was clean and comfortable and had everything we need. Proximity to the river, Glenwood and Carbondale only make this place better.

Great Location

Who can beat summer on the Roaring Fork River? This place is right on it and has access to fishing. Went with grandparents and 2 children (8 and 10). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the inside and outside of the property. We would recommend staying here again. Another bonus is the AC in the hot summers.

Family Reunion

We loved the property and its numerous amenities. Very clean, easy instructions for the various systems and beds were very comfortable. Dealing with the property manager was seamless and she was very responsive. Overall this was a great property and made it easy for us all to enjoy our time together.

Incredible place, will book again!

Kendall left us a handwritten note and freshly cut flowers. The place was immaculate and beautiful is an understatement. Kendall was communicative and it was so nice renting from a place who cares about their property rather than it being run by a bunch of property managers. Already planning on how i can get back there!

Girl’s Getaway

The Aspenwood is a beautiful home. The furniture and decor are high end. It has everything you need for a large group. It’s a bit of a drive from downtown Glenwood Springs but the riverfront property is well worth it. Kendall is an amazing host. She made sure our experience was great. We highly recommend!

Thank you for the wonderful review of our riverfront home! We are not located downtown. We are 5 miles between GWS and Carbondale w/ quick access to Hwy 82 - one of a few riverbank rentals that guests can fish and launch rafts on the Roaring Fork River! :)

Lodge on the river

A very clean comfy private house along the roaring fork river. A good sized open kitchen living room which was great for a family vacation! Comfortable furniture. Fireplace. Hot tub. All the bells and whistles they even had robes and slippers in each of the bedrooms. The views of the river and the snow capped mountains were georgous! A short drive to glenwood springs with a handful of tasty dining options and hot springs. Highly recommend for a winter family getaway.

Great for family and friends.

Overall great house set up for family and friends. Bedroom/Bathroom set up: 2 bedrooms (1 king, 2Q) w bathrooms down, MBR up. Large common areas for gathering including porch. Good kitchen supplies – pot, pans, plenty of dish ware, even had a meat thermometer! Steak knives & carving set!Plenty of outdoor games to play and the property to play. Many thoughtful touches - coffee maker in the master bedroom, lotions. Movie room was fun, too! Note that river access is a small area. Check out was easy as was check in!

We’re delighted your family and friends enjoyed the unique amenities in the home! For clarity with room configuration, the home includes two King master bedrooms — one upstairs and one downstairs — in addition to the rooms with Queen beds. Though the kayak launch point is modest in size, this is the largest residential riverfront parcel between Carbondale and Glenwood Springs, offering prime river frontage and spacious lawns overlooking the Roaring Fork River. We had such an incredible experience at the Aspenwood house in Glenwood Springs. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and peaceful. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the little touches that made our stay feel extra special.The layout was perfect for our group — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfy, and the outdoor space was a wonderful bonus for taking in the fresh mountain air.But what truly made this stay stand out was the host — they were amazing. Communication was clear, timely, and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and it really showed.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Glenwood Springs. Beautiful Setting

The setting for the house was amazing. The large deck looked out over a flowing river. The layout of the house was unusual as they added on to the house a couple of times. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of seating outside and inside. The big issue was the air conditioning was not adequet to cool the house during hot days. The upstairs bedroom was especially hot as was the fourth bedroom. The owners did a good job communicating with us.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Steve! I wish you had notified me so we could take a look at any issues. We have a 5-ton, multi-zone chiller system with 8 thermostats in our 4200 sq ft home. We discovered that a few thermostats were on a setting that conflicted with other zones, causing less cooling in a couple rooms. We have since reset all thermostats so that they "speak to each other" to regulate zones. After receiving your review, I checked with current guests who reported the air conditioning is working well in all rooms with 90+ temps outside. We take guests’ comfort seriously - and understand the need to keep cooling systems performing adequately - with climate change.

Spring Break 2023 - Wonderful!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Glenwood Springs. We had a party of 7 and the house was perfect for our family. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. Having access to the garage was great too, as we had rain and snow during our stay. The property was beautiful inside and out and the hot tub was wonderful for relaxing. My husband enjoyed the river for fishing and we saw elk multiple times in/crossing the river. It was a short drive to town for the tourist activities. Kendall was extremely kind and very communicative, checking in and answering any questions we had while we were there. Highly recommend this property if staying in the area. Short drive to activities and spa like amenities and privacy at the home.

We rented Aspen Wood for my 50th birthday. It did not disappoint. This was a lovely house to come back to relax after exploring town; I just wish we could’ve stayed longer! The rooms were all spacious and very comfortable. We each had enough space for privacy and common areas to gather and celebrate. Try out the steam shower in the primary bathroom if you get a chance; it was fantastic! The hot tub view is exactly as you see pictured, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the river, enjoying the gas fire pit, and those VIEWS!I liked how the Host left thoughtful directions and reminders around the house so you didn’t have to always refer back to a big binder that is usually never in a convenient place when you need it. The Host was the epitome of hospitality; leaving a card with birthday wishes and some chocolates, and even helped me plan by polling their family for the best steak restaurant in town and recommending other local hotspots. We appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into making this a home away from home. Although we did not use them; the board games, yard games, throw blankets on every single recliner in the theater room, the tissue boxes, the fully stocked kitchen, the humidifiers; so many thoughtful extra amenities. Thank you so very much for your hospitality and allowing us to spend a few days in your beautiful home.

Colorado Paradise!

We have a wonderful time at the AspenWood home. The home was immaculate and pictures don’t do it justice! Kendall was amazing in communicating with us. A secret treasure was the steam shower! Hot tub was awesome - gourmet kitchen had everything we needed and the perfect place to entertain! Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a memorable Colorado vacation!

River getaway

Cannot say enough good things about our entire experience! The house was perfect, the location was exceptional and it was truly a getaway. The host made every effort to accommodate our stay with bikes, floats and recommendations for local food and events. I felt local! Can’t wait to some again!

What a wonderful week!!!

We had a great experience in the Aspen woods!!! With the beautiful views and the wonderful Accommodations. Check in was easy and quick. The location was great 30 mins from Aspen/snow mass village. Communication with Kendall was great and we can’t wait to come back
