Designer kitchen with island seating, large dining table, two full NEW bathrooms, comfy den with 2 full size couches, large tvs, full laundry room, classic tabby exterior, walk to restaurants

The Cottages at Neptune Way #1 is one of 3 cottages on the property. This property is a 1930’s bungalow fully renovated with beautiful finishes for a high-end experience and the location is EVERYTHING! Here you will be able to walk 1 block over to the village shops and restaurants and 3 blocks to walk by the ocean and visit the lighthouse. This property is set on a quiet street tucked between a park with gorgeous oaks (photo-moment!) and on the other side the start of the village/pier area to walk to local shops and restaurants.

The main beach is just a short 3 minute drive, but we recommend renting bikes for the ultimate island experience. You will love your stay at the Cottages at Neptune Way! We hope to see you soon!

Great Girls Trip

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was super clean and so convenient to all the shops and restaurants! We would definitely stay here again!! Great communication and super check in and check out!

Everything we needed

This was our 2nd time at this location. Clean, comfortable and such appealing decor! A user friendly kitchen and a heavenly bed made staying there a real pleasure.

What a great stay in St Simon’s Island! The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The location was PERFECT! We walked to the Village every day. I loved how close, but tucked away the home is. We went to nearby East Beach in 5 minutes. Beach chairs were an added plus. We would definitely stay here again!

Aletha and Bo really know what they are doing! Great location, lovely and fresh interior and exterior and so easy to communicate with! They aim for 5 Stars and they are nailing it!

Excellent property

Owners were extremely communicative leading up to our stay. Property is just as described. Wonderful to be walking distance from Mallory street and a short ride to the beach.

Spring getaway

The property is clean and well kept. It has a neat little island vibe to it. The host was very good communicating and making sure we had everything we needed and making some recommendations if places to eat in the area. The location was perfect and close to everything we needed and wanted. I highly recommend.

This home was perfect for us (2 mamas with kids)! The location was perfect- near everything! Restaurants, shops, the pier, playground, gas station are all within walking distance. The home was so easy to check into with minimum tasks at check out. The decor was perfect. Beachy but understated. The owner thought of everything- laundry detergent, well equipt kitchen, grill (we did not use), fire pit (we used for roasting marshmallows), extra blankets, and so much more. It was the perfect stay.

Another great stay!

We have been staying at Aletha and Bo's property once a month this fall when in the area to check on construction of our home. I am honestly sad to think once our home is finished we won't be staying there- but we will be recommending it to any one visiting the area! They are great hosts!!

Girls getaway

I wish I could give this stay a higher ranking. We loved it SO much! It was the perfect getaway for a girls weekend. It was a great location, super clean, close to everything, and had everything we needed for our stay. We were so impressed. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place at St. Simons!

St Simons was a good getaway location, however I must say our hostess' efforts were really noteworthy in assuring our stay was a great one. Easy and clear to communicate with, and responded to all our questions and needs. We could not have asked for better accomodations.

Spectacular

This property is beyond fantastic! All the extras and more are here! Our host was very accommodating and we had a lovely gift bag awaiting us on arrival. Location is perfect—we were able to walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go. The cottage had plenty of room for us to be together inside and out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Beautiful Home on SSI

My wife, 3 young children and I stayed at Bo and Aletha’s beautiful home for a week. It was very clean, close to shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach and community pool. The owners were very friendly and quickly responded to our questions. They were also very helpful with us having to change our dates. The home was beautifully designed, modern, and comfortable. We are already planning our next trip to SSI and hope to stay here again.

We were in town having a girls weekend & this was the perfect spot! The pictures honestly don’t do it justice - it’s SO cute & we all wanted it to be our permanent home by the time we left. Everything is walkable & we felt super safe. Hoping to make this a yearly trip & will stay at this house!

Elegance but with some noise

This beautiful home is split into 3 units. They are all very tastefully decorated and well stocked. However, there are doors that connect to each unit and a curtain in front of the doors with some added soundproofing (like egg crate). But you can still hear a lot from the next unit from my master bedroom. In fact, if you are in the bathroom (next to door), you can hear 100% of the conversation. So, that wasn't exactly restful. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this in the comments. Other than that, I cannot say enough good things about the place and its proximity to everything.

Wonderful relaxing bungalow

The house is newly and beautifully renovated, like something straight out of Better Homes and Gardens. There was plenty of space for our family and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. And as if the home itself weren't already fantastic, the location can't be beat--you are just a few minutes from the downtown area of SSI. It was so convenient to not have to drive anywhere. Can't wait to stay here again in the future!

Excellent Stay in a Great Place

I could not have nicer things to say about our experience at Aletha and Bo’s listing. Incredibly clean and wonderful for families or friends staying in the area. We really liked the proximity to the shops and restaurants that St Simons has to offer. My folks loved that we were able to walk to breakfast and dinner each night, plus visit some of the shops nearby. The place itself has everything you could ask for. Clean, spacious, plenty of beds for people to stay. Kitchen appliances were brand new, pretty sure we were first to use many of them. 100% recommend this place for anyone looking to spend time with family/friends in a home away from home.
