Avoid the bumper-to-bumper morning traffic on Highway 89 and required parking reservations at the resort. Be first on the lifts or get there on your own relaxed time while avoiding the traffic mayhem.

This beautiful Scandinavian style 2BR/1BA house feels very spacious, thanks to light colors, big windows, and natural materials. Furnished with hygge lifestyle in mind, enjoy the wood-burning fireplace from the deep couch and beautiful views through wide windows.

10-minute walk to Palisades Tahoe Resort and Village (formerly Squaw Valley), or get picked up in your driveway for free door-to-door service using the Mountaineer shuttle (available during winter only). From there enjoy the NEW gondola over the mountain linking Palisades to Alpine Meadows ski resort: combined the two resorts offer the largest ski terrain in California!

This great location mountain retreat is perfect for families or friends up to 6 people.

*Locked carport for skis and boards (locked carport is shared with downstairs unit)
*Parking for 2 cars (4x4 required during winter, chains strongly recommended)

PARKING:
Circular driveway with space for 2 cars maximum. Driveway plowed during snowstorms if cars moved. No on-street parking. Free shuttle bus with Mountaineer app (available during winter only). Free TART bus runs all around Tahoe Basin year-round. In winter, an all-wheel-drive vehicle will be necessary.

Quiet neighborhood of single family homes on hill right above base of Palisades Tahoe (formerly known as Squaw Valley Ski Resort.) Originally built for the 1960`s Olympics, streets are quiet and homes are occupied by dedicated skiers and Tahoe residents.

Walking distance to base of Palisades at Tahoe resort, so moving your car is not necessary after you arrive. Starting December 10 the free Mountaineer shuttle can be ordered right to your doorstep. Free TART bus runs around the Tahoe basin year-round. Circular drive accommodates maximum 2 cars.

Home Truths:
-There is a downstairs in-law unit that it is rented separately so it may be occupied by another tenant or by the owners. You won`t share spaces with anyone. Please be courteous and keep noise levels low.
-No air conditioner like most units in the Tahoe area.
-Street parking is not allowed. Make sure to park in the driveway only.
-Be cautious while walking outside especially at night during winter time in icy conditions.
-During winter, when you check out or leave the property do not turn heater off, always leave the property heated to at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent freezing the pipes.

Please note that in winter weather & storm conditions such services as Internet and cable may be spotty and/or nonfunctional. Those are beyond our control and we do not provide refunds or credits in the event that services are out due to inclement weather conditions, which is the norm. Please book only if you are ok with the potential of not having cable or Internet during your stay during bad weather.

Please inquire before confirming your booking if you`re not 100% sure about the space. The description below and the pictures were meant to describe it as much as possible, but if you have any questions please don`t hesitate to ask them.

Trash Instructions:
-Only dispose of trash in the bear box.
-Please ensure the bear box is secured when putting trash inside.

HOUSE SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS & POLICIES:
By booking this home you agree to the rules and conditions outlined at the Guest Terms page found by accessing air concierge online and navigating to the Footer where such terms can be found as titled Terms and Conditions Guest Terms - Air Concierge, as well as those denoted below. Should there be a conflict between the booking platform Terms and Conditions, and those listed on the link above or herein, then the terms most favorable to us as the Host shall take effect.

NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
-Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 10am
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside the booking platform.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter`s ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a `show up` charge, even if no work is performed.
-Absolutely no parties or loud music.
-This is a NON-SMOKING property.
- All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID).
-This is a pet-friendly spot. If you are allergic or don`t like pets, this might not be a good fit!

PET POLICY:
-One adult dog up to 50lbs allowed. Cats are not allowed anytime.
-Dog must be house and potty trained and cannot be left alone or on furniture.
-Pet fee is required and non refundable
-Guest assumes full responsibility for all and any damage caused by the pet during the stay. Pet fee is not meant to cover accidents to carpets and/or furniture, nor picking up after your dog or excessive fur cleaning; pet owner will be held responsible for all and any damages.
-If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.

PET ETIQUETTE:
-Control their barking - if you have a loud dog, please never leave it in the home alone.
-Don’t let them treat everything like a fire hydrant (inside and outside the home).
-Play is fun, but silence is golden - be respectful of the neighbors.
-Keep them on leash while outside the home.
-Always pick up after your dog.
-Wash those paws and minimize bringing messes inside the home.

Guests are responsible for any fines/citations/penalties received by host or owner if caused intentionally or negligently by guest or guests of guest. Water Damage:
-Leave indoor and outdoor pipes dripping to prevent them from freezing or bursting in the winter.
-During winter times, or when day time temperatures may be below 35 degrees Fahrenheit, then when checking out, turn off the main water valve completely and drain all pipes to prevent freezing. Also, leave the property heated to at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent freezing the pipes.
-Check washing machine, refrigerator, hot water heater, air conditioner (when available) and other major appliances (which use water hoses or drain lines) for damage, kinks, cracks, and contact us if you find any.
-If you notice any leaks around sinks, tubs, toilets, and hot water heaters contact us as soon as possible. These issues can lead to costly mold damage and rotten floating

This chalet is perfect for a family of 4. Super clean, well equipped. The beds are comfortable. We did not use the heating stove, however there was wood available for us, very nice. Amazing location, we walked to Palisades village everyday for lunch, nice walk. We had to contact the management company, they responded almost immediately via text. They were, also, available to call, however, it was not necessary. This property is well managed and well taken care of. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place.
