Thank you so much for the 10/10 rating! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your getaway. Traffic noise has not previously been raised as a concern by our guests, nor has it been an issue during our own stays at the cabin. Highway 89 runs along the Truckee River between Tahoe City and Truckee, so the River Road homes are situated near the freeway. However, our cabin sits on a wooded riverfront property, surrounded by trees and vegetation. We have also installed dual-pane, argon-filled wood windows that provide substantial sound insulation, which is why traffic noise is not something we typically hear inside the cabin. Given our own experience and the absence of previous guest concerns about noise, it had not been something we considered necessary to specifically highlight in the listing. Of course, we understand that sensitivity to sound can vary from person to person, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. Thank you again for staying with us and for the wonderful rating!
