The chef's kitchen will thrill even the best of chef's who wish to prepare meals for dining in and the dining room holds a large table that easily seats 8 with additional seating space in a cozy nook off to the side. There is a living room complete with TV, sink with counter space, and a mini-fridge on the lower level that offers additional room for your group to spread out and find quiet space. There are 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths with an enormous primary suite featuring a wall of windows and jetted tub in the bathroom.

A sauna room allows guests to unwind at the end of event filled days and the 3 season enclosed porch with seating and large table offers a great spot to sit and gaze on the mountains during any kind of weather! The deck spanning the length of the house and the sweeping custom patio with Adirondack chairs and firepit area both offer lots of outdoor space and beckon visitors to relax and take in the beauty of the views and nature that will surround you!

This gorgeous and welcoming vacation rental is outlined by trees and the only visible neighbor is a caretaker cottage separated from the main house. You will find yourself in an ideal location amid a beautiful setting just a few minutes away from the center of Lake Placid with several venues and only 9.3 miles and approximately 15 minutes away from Whiteface Mountain Ski Center. Mountain View Lodge is conveniently situated to also allow visitors opportunity to enjoy many sporting opportunities along with several natural attractions in the immediate surrounding areas with direct access to the west branch of the AuSable River, which runs behind the property and the Jack Rabbit trail for hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. This famous Village also boasts world-renowned venues including Olympic Arenas and Public/Speedskating Oval, Ski Jumping Complex, Bobrun/Luge Runs, and Horse Show Grounds, that are all within just a couple minutes drive away!

Mountain View Lodge offers a Maximum of 8 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public.
