IL VECCHIO CASALE DEL POZZO is an ancient villa in the Valdichiana valley of Tuscany, very near to the major cities of art: Siena , Florence , Perugia, Cortona and Assisi . The villa is surrounded by a park of olive-trees in which there is the swimming pool.
This country house is situated on a hill that is covered by olive-trees and it is right next to Marciano della Chiana, a town that thanks to its castle and tower dominates the valley. A recent and accurate restoration turned it into a comfortable holiday house, divided into six apartments.
IL VECCHIO CASALE DEL POZZO is surrounded by a park where the many green wide spaces are furnished with garden pieces of furniture. The swimming pool of the park is among the flourishing foliage of the olive-trees and it is equipped with umbrellas and sun beds. The furniture of the apartments, which is comfortable, is high in quality and style.
The apartments are all independent and each of them is equipped with its own kitchen, sitting room with chimney, bedrooms with bathroom and they are suited for 2/4/6/8 people.
There you can live completely immersed in the green of Tuscany , far from stress and traffic in order to enjoy endless moments of authentic relax. Possibility to taste and buy the extra-virgin olive oil produced by the farm and many other delicacies prepared by the owner.

ASBURGO : sleeps 4 - 72 m2
This apartment is on the first floor and you have access to it by the main door and stairs that bring you up. This is surely the most important apartment of the entire Villa, since its chimney has a fresco representing the coat of arms of the family. The restoration gave it back its original beauty to confirm once again the old history of this Villa. The fresco gives a sense of warmth and hospitality to the living room, in which there are a double bed sofa and satellite TV. The cooking area combines both antiques and usefulness and it is equipped with many accessories: fridge with freezing compartment, oven, dish-washing machine, dishes, glasses, spoons, knives and forks, trays, etc…Towels, bed- and table-linen are provided as well. There is a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds that if needed, can also be joined together
MEDICI - Sleeps 4 - 69 m2
This apartment is on the second floor and you have access to it by the main door and stairs that bring you up. There are two double bedrooms: the one with wrought iron tester bed, and the other with a wrought iron double bed and a red wooden wardrobe that has floral decorations. The bathroom has a shower box. The living room is wide and comfortable. The chimney is just in front of the double bed sofa. The two armchiars next to it are dark brown and have two orange cushions. Three steps bring you from the living room to the brown wooden kitchen, which is capacious and equipped with many accessories: fridge with freezing compartment, oven, dish-washing machine, dishes, glasses, spoons, knives and forks, trays, etc…Towels, bed- and table-linen are provided as well
STROZZI - Sleeps 6 - 85 m2
This apartment is on the second floor and you have access to it by the main door and stairs that bring you up. This is the biggest apartment, in fact it is equipped with three bedrooms. One of them is situated in the attic, which was the turret of the Villa. It is full of charme and the light pink furniture makes it warm and comfortable. There is a superb view over the valley from there. You can have access to it by a wooden winding staircase. The other double bedroom is on the lower floor, that room has a wooden-beam ceiling and brick niches. Finally there is a room with two single beds which is wide, comfortable and it has two windows on two different sides of the building. The bathroom has a shower box. The big living room, that is next to the large kitchen, is equipped with chimney, double bed sofa and satellite TV. The kitchen is equipped with many accessories: fridge with freezing compartment, oven, dish-washing machine, dishes, glasses, spoons, knives and forks, trays, etc…Towels, bed- and table-linen are provided as well.
ORSINI - Sleeps 4 - 72 m2
This apartment is on the first floor and you have access to it by the main door and stairs that bring you up. There are two bedrooms: the one with a wrought-iron double bed, the other with two wrought-iron single beds that, if needed, can also be joined together. A wide living room with chimney, double bed sofa and satellite TV is also equipped with a linear kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with many accessories: fridge with freezing compartment, oven, dish-washing machine, dishes, glasses, spoons, knives and forks, trays, etc…Towels, bed- and table-linen are provided as well.
VASARI - Sleeps 4 - 72 m2
This apartment is on the ground floor. It has two independent side accesses: the one from the kitchen and the other from the living- room. There are two bedrooms: the one with a wrought-iron double bed and with brick niches, the other with two wrought-iron single beds that, if needed, can also be joined together. The bathroom has a shower box. The wide living room has a chimney, a double bed sofa, a satellite TV and a kitchen angle. The kitchen is equipped with many accessories: fridge with freezing compartment, oven, dish-washing machine, dishes, glasses, spoons, knives and forks, trays, etc…Towels, bed- and table-linen are provided as well
COLONNA - Sleeps 2 - 40 m2
A two-room apartment with independent access from a bricks covered space. It is equipped with chairs and a table. It is made up of a bedroom, with a wrought-iron double bed, a bathroom with shower box and a living room with double bed sofa. The kitchen in English green wood is equipped with oven, dish-washing machine, fridge with freezing compartment and everything about dishes, glasses, knives, forks, spoons, trays, etc… Next to it there is a barbecue-chimney to cook or to warm up the food. Satellite TV, towels, bed- and table-linen are provided as well
COMMON ROOM
With access from the garden. This large living room, with terracotta tiles, is composed by a dining table that can accommodate 24 guests and a well-equipped kitchen with five-burner gas cooker, electric oven, refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, Italian coffee-maker, American coffee-maker and toaster.
There is also a sofa and satellite television.
Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms, living rooms and community room.
OUTDOOR
IL VECCHIO CASALE DEL POZZO is surrounded by a park where the many green wide spaces are furnished with garden pieces of furniture. The well-kept and flower filled garden is completed with outdoor furniture, barbecue, pizza oven. A specific area as been equipped for common outdoor dinners.
The swimming pool of the park is among the flourishing foliage of the olive-trees and it is equipped with umbrellas and sun beds. The beautiful pool (6 x 12 m), which was created in the dense olive grove, is set in a completely fenced area for children's safety.
At guests' disposal there are also a table tennis, a volleyball court and football pitch (20x12m) and a playground for children.
