This comfortable family home will be the perfect base for your adventure-filled vacation in the Flathead Valley. It is centrally located between Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Kalispell and only a short drive to Whitefish Mountain Resort, Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. After a wonderful day of exploring, your family will enjoy our fully supplied kitchen, dining area, living room, family room 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home. Our home comfortably sleeps up to 8 people . We have 2 Smart TVs, internet and central air to make your time at home relaxing and comfortable. Board games, cards, children's books, toys, hair dryer, and beach towels are available for your use.
Outside, we have a deck with a BBQ, and a shaded patio with a playhouse for the children.
Our home is located in a neighborhood 5 miles south of Whitefish. A convenience store, gas station, coffee stand, restaurant and bar are all within walking distance. Our home is clean, well maintained and will be a perfect home base for any vacation.

We had a wonderful stay in this house! It was roomy, comfortable, clean, and close to things we wanted to do. We were sad to leave! We went into Glacier National Park on most days during our stay. The AC felt good after hiking in GNP.

The Snipes place in Whitefish was a wonderful home for our family to stay in! We enjoyed the coziness of it and the location between Kalispell and Whitefish! We were not to far from Glacier National Park as that was our main vacation destination. Quickly discovered on our last day how cute downtown Whitefish is and wish we could have visited more. The house was clean and stocked with what we needed. Overall we would stay here again!

Great stay

We were in the area for a family wedding and to see Glacier NP. This location was great for both. The house was exactly what we needed and wanted, the owners were very helpful and responsive and I highly recommend this vrbo.

Family Getaway

Terry and Shelly were wonderful! Prior to, during, and after our stay, they were incredibly accommodating to all of our requests regarding items we needed or questions we had about the area. Their home is conveniently located right off the highway not too far from all of the attractions. Their home is definitely family friendly and we would absolutely stay there again if we came for another visit to the area!!

This property was perfect for our family of 9. We had 7 adults and 2 kids 2 and under. There wasn’t anything we lacked during our stay. Normally you only have a start up of essentials and have to buy the rest they had everything. We cooked several meals and didn’t have to buy anything to get it done.Terry and Shelly were by far the best people we have ever dealt with. The let us know we could get into the house early and answered all of my questions quickly. Their home felt like home to my family and that was much appreciated. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again.

Great Experience at the Snipes' Home

We stayed in Shelly and Terry's home for 5 nights and the place was fabulous. We had six adults (two married couples), two teenagers and a 14 month old grandson and everyone loved the house. The hospitality was terrific and there was plenty of room for the whole group. WE cooked breakfasts and dinners and had a great time. Thanks Terry and Shelly!!!!

Perfect Glacier Getaway Location

This house exceeded any expectations we had. It had more than enough space for 9 people! Shelly was extremely attentive and always checked in at the right time. She was also quick to get the small items we needed throughout the trip (toilet paper, laundry basket, step stool ect) and we cannot rave enough about this property. Only thing I will say, if you plan to go to the east side of glacier, it is a good 2.5 hours from this location.

Large house and great location!

The house worked out very well for our family vacation. We were 6 adults and the house had more than enough room for us. The house is very close to Whitefish and not far from Kalispel. We traveled most days to Glacier National Park which was only about a 20 minute drive. It was very nice to have a grill available and camp chairs and beach towels for a trip to the beach. The beds were comfy and thank goodness for the central air! We would definitely stay here again! Terry was so gracious to let us check in a couple hours early. Thank you!

Whitefish Vacation

We found the home to be just what we needed. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 1 7year old. Clean and inviting with a great kitchen. The kids toys were a definite plus! The convenience of close gas and store was helpful as we planned our days. While we did not use the BBQ the deck was wonderful in the evenings. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable!

Absolutely Wonderful

My golf buddies and I enjoyed this property immensely during our stay in the Flathead. The location was perfect as it was near all of our golf courses during the week. We barbequed a couple times and enjoyed the patio each evening for our golf stories of the day. The amenities were great and the house was perfect as we all had our own rooms and plenty of bathrooms and showers! We hope to be up there and stay again in the coming years!

Perfect for children or grandchildren!

Why would you stay in a hotel when you can all have your own room, plus kitchen and living space, in this spotlessly clean home that's perfectly located for Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell? This home was ideal for my daughter/son-in-law, 3 year old granddaughter (who loved the toddler bed), infant grandson (a pack-n-play is available upon request), and me. It's a split level, so my family took the three bedrooms up (where the kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms are also located), and I took the one down, which also has a family room and half bath. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of dishes, and we cooked breakfast every morning. We ended up eating the rest of our meals out (or picnicked), but would have used the grill on the deck if not. My granddaughter especially loved the books, and games for all ages were available. The Snipes provided contact info and were responsive to every question or need we might have, which were not many because they anticipated so much. Highly recommend!

I was born and raised in Whitefish and my husband and I have lived here together for the past 40 years. After teaching in our elementary years for over 30 years, I am now enjoying retirement. My husband, Terry is a "mostly" retired building contractor. In our free time, we enjoy spending time with our grandchildren and traveling.

We bought our home in the Happy Valley neighborhood because of its central location. It is an easy drive to Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Glacier Park, and the airport. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible from the highway.
