EASY 30 MINUTE DRIVE TO NCAA FINAL 4 DOWNTOWN SAN ANTONIO. This magnificent 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home on the banks of the Guadalupe River features a fenced yard with gated entrance, an enclosed elevator, a large covered back deck with a gas grill. Since this is our personal home, you will find everything you need for cooking or baking. A ping-pong table and pool table, basketball goal, corn hole, free WiFi and printer available, a fire pit down by the water. The Master offers a King sized bed and sitting area with a private door leading to the covered back porch. The master also offers blackout shades for those wanting to sleep in. The guest bedrooms also both offer king sized beds. There are 2 sofas in the living room that will allow for an 8 person stay.
House is under new ownership and many upgrades have been done; new refrigerator, new furniture, and brand new carpet as of May 2022. Kitchen is fully accessorized as if you were in your own home. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do!!

NOTE; Take note of the low water picture, which reflects current water level conditions due to dam gate issues. River accessible for all activities except boating. UPDATE; Jan 2024, Dam reconstruction on going with expected completion date of May 2025,ā€¦LAKE WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL CONDITIONS!!

Everything about the home, views, and area activities was exceptional. Especially nice was the fully equipped kitchen for meals and outdoor upped deck patio space to enjoy views and peaceful outdoors.

Family Gathering

Very nice location and home!! Host were great and responsive to all my questions. The only thing was the lake was down due to the dam construction, but can't wait til it's fix so we can return. This location was so easy to head to San Antonio, Gruene, or New Branfels. Grismill Restaurant in the historic distric in Gruene was a great place to eat. Shops and boutiques were cute to walk through. No air conditioning when we went so wear clothes to keep you cool.

Friends Trip

This rental was fantastic, it was everything and more than what we expected. The check in and check out was simple and seamless, the house was spotless and gave our party more than enough room. I highly recommend this location if you are in the area and need a place to stay with friends or family.

Family Time

Beautiful! We needed quality time together and this home was perfect for that. My teen kiddo loved the basketball court and ping pong table. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Space was amazing in open the living room, so we could all be chatting from the kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms and jack and jill bathroom .. perfect!!

Anniversary Celebration

My wife and I choose this place to celebrate our anniversary weekend. The house was beautiful and the layout was perfect for our friends to join us on our special day. The kitchen has all of the utensils and cooking items needed for a local chef to come in and cook us his magic for our meal. The patio overlooking the river made for a perfect place to enjoy the evening breeze. We would love to visit again with our entire family!

Home was awesome yā€™all thought of everything. We were right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Only negative was the lake was really low but we used the neighbors dock to enjoy the rafts

Amazing house on Lake Placid

Wow!! The pictures do not do this house any justice!! This home is the nicest vrbo that weā€™ve ever stayed in! The rooms are huge, with high ceilings and plenty of beds and sitting areas. The living space is joined with the kitchen making an enormous space for everyone to gather, eat, play games, or just veg on the couch watching movies on the big screen. The master bedroom is probably the square footage of my home living room! King bed, couch, big screen - then the master bath. My oh my, itā€™s huge! Multi jet shower, soaking jetted bathtub, separated dual sink and vanity area where one can get ready while the other is showering. Huge laundry with washer and dryer, clothes drying line and all the grill tools and extras for the house. The second and third rooms both boast king beds and a jack and Jill bathroom with plenty of room where no one feels on top of one another. The kitchen has every tool and appliance you could ever need. Outdoors has all the fun things youā€™ll need! Paddle boards, floats, a big lily pad floating mattress which we utilized for days!! So fun to just sit out on the lake!! And here Iā€™d like to let yā€™all know - this house is a lake house, not a river house. The water is shallow and warm and doesnā€™t move. Itā€™s part of the Guadalupe, but itā€™s a lake. We expected the frigid water temps and having to battle the current while we tied off in our tubes. Not so! This was warm and easy to just play in! We will be back!!! Thanks!!

Summer 2023 family vacay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is equipped with everything you will need from a full kitchen to games to water recreation equipment. The grounds are immaculate and plenty of room for kids to play. Owners were immediately responsive to any question we had! Comfortably slept 9 people including kids and babies.

Lovely Memorial Day Wknd Get Away

Second time staying at this home and reaffirmed why itā€™s one of our favorites. Love the quiet peacefulness on the lake, the trees and all of the outdoor space and all the amenities and comfort of the inside to match. So much to do outside and we did it all. Paddle boards, kayak, ping pong, pool and basketball. Our active family loved it all. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of seating rounded out our relaxing evenings. The only issues we had were with the outdoor TV that did not function and some technical difficulties with the remote in the living room, that the owner was quick to respond to! Canā€™t wait to come again.

Spring Break Getaway

Property was very clean and welcoming. Paddle boards, kayaks, pool table and ping pong table was prepped and ready to use. We even had milk, juice, donuts and coffee ready to make our 1st morning enjoyable. Rooms were spacious and kitchen has all the modern conveniences. The back porch was perfect and plenty of room for a backyard bar-b-que. It's close enough to everything if you want to go into town.

Family Get-Together

We chose Seguin for our family to meet up and see each other. The house was perfect for entertaining and Seguin is a great little town to visit. We visited almost all of the vintage/antique stores. (Coffee Co has great frappuccinos)

Best Rental To Date

This house is beautiful and so many amenities like the elevator (WOW!!!), ping pong table, pool table, basketball hoop with basketball, and fire pit for sā€™mores and relaxation on the river. Every bedroom has comfortable king size beds with lots of room. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We, all, thoroughly, enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Lake Placid getaway

The house and grounds were beautiful. The granddaughters loved the pool table when they were not in the water. We had a great time during our stay. We would recommend this property to anyone. It had everything we needed during our stay. The host even left water balloons for our granddaughters which was very thoughtful. Would definitely rent this property again. Sincerely The Donaho family
