Take in panoramic ocean views during your coastal getaway to Lady Dune. This oceanfront home offers plenty of space for you to enjoy time with your closest friends and family.

The front door opens into the open kitchen and living area. The large island compliments the stainless steel appliances which make it easy to feed your whole crew. The living room offers cozy seating options centered around a flat screen TV and wonderful views of the waves crashing through the windows.

Off the living area sits a queen bedroom overlooking the ocean, which is connected by a shared full bathroom to the kid's suite, which houses a twin-over-twin bunk bed.

Past the kitchen you will find two queen bedrooms joined by a shared full bathroom.

The oceanfront deck provides rocking chairs perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee as the sun rises or your drink of choice on a warm summer evening. The stairs lead right to the sand and the pathway to the beach.

If you are looking for an adventure or to grab a bite to eat, the Oceancrest Pier and Island Way Restaurant are just a short stroll down the road! See you soon at Lady Dune!

Bed spread was full of dog hair, had to wash all bedding. Porch lights were out, maintenance never fixed during week. Bathroom drain would not drain properly, it was gross. Furniture in living room looked nasty. Only nice place to sit was porch. House generally smelled of dog, had to purchase cleaning supplies and sheet to put over couch .Took 2 days to get front door lock fixed but handyman was very nice.

We had a wonderful time. Oak Island was beautiful. Our view was spectacular. We did have some issues with the property. No internet, no TV, broken toaster, broken furniture on the deck and below, trash on sides of property, nails sticking up on stairs going to the beach and below the house ….

Great for couple with infant & dog

This house is in a great, quiet location on oak island. The furniture is super comfy but also worn/a little dirty- but that was just fine for us given we have a dog and an infant. Other pros and cons: Pros: -gorgeous views - steps from the beach - washer and dryer in unit - very quiet - large kitchen island - lots of beach equipment to use Cons: -recliner, couch, and mattresses weren’t sparkly clean -linens provided were low quality / scratchy -all ocean-facing windows are picture windows, so you can’t open them to get a breeze -WiFi was super slow -knives were dull. We bought a set of paring knives and left them in the unit -no functional grill. There’s a grill on the deck but it looks super old and rusty -pantry/kitchen basics could be better stocked. We bought coffee filters and serving salt and left them there Overall we had a nice stay and this place has a lot of potential with a little more thoughtful touches.

Weekend stay at the beach

This home is great. I love that it's small and simple and not one of those massive homes built for huge groups. Access to the beach is right out the back door and the owners provide plenty of equipment for most anything you'd need. I highly recommend the Island Way restaurant within walking distance.

Great location

We enjoyed our vacation at Lady Dune. The house is in perfect location. You can see sunrise and sunset from the deck. You are on the beach and dunes are in front of you for extra privacy. All next door houses are staggered in a way you are not shoulder to shoulder to each other. We also were very happy that we could bring our doggy with us.

Really great, with a couple of exceptions

I know beach side, dog friendly homes are hard to get clean, but I felt this was not as clean as it should have been, even under the circumstances. The big comfy chair had popcorn in it and under it, and the carpet in front of it should be replaced. On the bright side, the location is perfect, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. And our dog loved the beach! Thank you!!!

Didn’t want to leave!

This beach house was great! It is an older home, but does have some nice updates. One of the bathrooms has been updated and two of the queen beds have memory foam mattresses, which were comfortable. The living room dining room kitchen area is huge and the kitchen is very well equipped. The best part was the deck – lots of rocking chairs and a breathtaking view that you can’t beat. Wish I could’ve stayed longer!
