Live the ATLANTIC DREAM during your vacay at this BEACH FRONT home with VIEWS of the OCEAN & DUNES. Free Shibumi shade use with Summer bookings.

THE HOME
You will stay in a charming, updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with an open floor plan and a generous balcony overlooking the ocean. This entire cozy home has been fully reonnovated to offer modern conveninece while maintaining classic coastal charm.

The kitchen is thoughtfully equiped with updated appliences and plenty of casserole dishes, baking sheets, cutting boards, etc.

Each bedroom is outfited with clean, comfortale beds and a dresser or bureau. The master has a queen bed. The second bedroom offers one queen and one twin. The third bedroom offers one queen and a twin bunkbead.

Both bathrooms offer showers. An additional hot & cold water shower with a dressing room is located under the house.

OUTSIDE
The ample deck leads directly to the beach path and dunes. The private shower is located at the bottom of the steps. For additional sand-rinsing convenience, there are hoses located at the top of the stairs and in the covered parking area.

The house is on stilts, and the space underneath the house provides s sheltered patio to hang out, gear up, and play.

Paved parking is also available below the house and in the paved driveway.


WI-FI and TELEVISION
You will find smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Wifi is available.

WHAT TO BRING
WE DO NOT PROVIDE BED SHEETS OR BATH TOWELS. BYO OR RENT OKI LINENS!! Bring or rent a grill (grilling under house is a fire hazard and not allowed.) Bring beach towels. Sand and surf toys are provided as well as some weathered beach chairs.

GOT KIDS?
This house is kid friendly! Kids table and chairs, indoor toys, sand toys, and children's books are provided.
Oak Islandā€™s splash pad isopen during summer months, and the Ocean Education and Nature Center are both free and interesting for kids and adults during the summer season.

NEARBY
Walking distance to Middleton Park and Splash Park, Pickle Ball/Tennis Courts, Farmer's Mkt and FREE Friday night Summer Concerts, fishing piers on the ocean and Davis Creek. Excellent nature trail and boardwalk over Davis Creek and the marsh, leading to the Recreation Center and the main road.

Oak Island has great fishing with charter boat services. Plenty of restaurants and fast food chains close by. Lowes, Food Lion and Publix is located 3-5 miles from this house. Super Walmart is located in Southport. Miniature golf, Oak Island Golf Club, parks, community center and many fun activities throughout the island, including the Nature Center (free) and Ocean Education Center (free).

My wife and I have been staying a beach houses for over 20 years but this rental was by far the best one yet! Extremely clean, incredibly stocked with everything you would need, in excellent condition, on the beach and cozy! We have finally found our 'go to' beach home! 4 generations beach trip

It was a great place to stay very clean and was a good size for my family, only I thought we would be able to sit on back deck and see the beach but the deck was not high enough to see over sand dunes, we had a 81 yr old who would have loved to be able to see our 6 yr old playing on the beach but she was not able to walk on beach. Also I have never stayed where the linen was not provided when I book I didnā€™t think it would make a difference but now I think I will always stay where linen is provided.

Easy beach access and close to town

We enjoyed our stay and the home was very clean! We came in the winter and it's still a great time to visit the beach. The town of OKI was decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed that everything was a close drive.

Wonderful beach house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was one of the cleanest rentals weā€™ve stayed in. We loved the ocean views and being steps from the beach. The host was wonderful to work with and kept us updated the entire time. Donā€™t hesitate to book a stay!

Beautiful, clean and Louann is so responsive!

We had a great first time on Oak Island! Thank you to Louann for sharing her beautiful home with us. The view is gorgeous. The home has anything and everything you could possibly need. It was extremely clean! It was very comfortable/cozy for the 5 of us. We loved the downstairs area, outdoor shower and that it was just a few steps from the beach! We stayed during Tropical Storm Debby and Louann was so helpful and responsive the whole time we were there. Thank you again and we look forward to coming back!

Family beach vacay ages 7m - adult

Very nice clean home oceanfront with beach access. Great for family of 6. Newly renovated home and very clean on arrival. Newer appliance but I will caution the oven does not work the best. The oven says preheated very quickly and itā€™s not heated to the correct temp so give it time. All the appliances/cooking pans, pots, utensils you could need are provided. Even children plates and utensils. Great place for children with kids table, seats, etc. the master bed and 1 other queen bed are very high off the ground so caution with elderly or disabled. Doorway not walker accessible except through master bedroom to bathroom. Overall wonderful spot!!

Perfect Getaway

I can't say enough good things about the "Atlantic Dream". The layout is nice. A very short walk to the beach. There is a shower and patio under the house. A good place to clean up before heading upstairs. We were pleasantly surprised to find children's books, toys, and even a small table and chairs for the kids. Everyone had a great time.

Anniversary get away

The house was perfect. Itā€™s positioned right on the beach with easy access. Itā€™s close to all things Oak Island. My wife and I hadnā€™t been back to Oak Island in many years. We were married there 19 years ago. We decided to finally take the opportunity to get back to the beach and more importantly, get back to quality time together, even if just for a long weekend. This house was perfect for our special weekend. It was clean and well laid out, The host was very thoughtful in ensuring that every necessity was provided. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this property. If youā€™re looking for a home that is close to everything, easy beach access, and very comfy, this is definitely it. Thank you for letting us use your home.

Great Stay with kids

The house was clean and well-maintained. Check-in process was easy and the host was communicative. The location was great, just steps onto the beach and right down the street from a great park and some restaurants. We really appreciated the extra touches for little people, including the small table and chairs, small Adirondack chairs, childrenā€™s books, kids plates/dishes and step tool. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach side stay

A lovely place to relax by the beach! The house is so cute and super convenient! Aside from being beach front, it's also minutes away from great restaurants, grocery store, and shopping. We visited for a long weekend with family (all adults) and we were very happy with our stay. The house was clean and updated, kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the living room was spacious. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Now, we have four growing children who love OKI for the beach and the coastal ecosystem, especially the sea turtles who nest here every year. This house is our familyā€™s special place. Hosting makes beach house ownership sustainable and gives us the chance to share our love for the island with all of you.


As our guests, we want you to feel as comfortable here as we do. We work to keep the house exceptionally clean and very cozy.

As nature lovers, we pick up trash on the beach and ICW to keep it from being eaten by turtles or other marine life. We also spend time walking the scenic trails along the marsh and over Davis Canal and enjoying OKIs many parks.

This beach house is our dream come true. We wanted to be on the beach and have unobstructed views of the ocean. After completely renovating this property we are now ready to enjoy it with our family and friends. This island offers quiet, clean, safe and friendly beach and community. Great place to enjoy retirement in the off season.
OKI has wonderful restaurants, fresh seafood and plenty of activities for everyone. If you like to bicycle this is the place. Ten miles of flat terrain, beautiful Ocean and Intercostal scenery. You won't be disappointed!

This family oriented beach has everything you will need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and watch the sunrise while taking in the ocean breeze or enjoy your evening with a drink on the deck watching the breathtaking sunset. Stroll on the white sandy beach picking shells and enjoying each others company. Children will enjoy playing in the backyard while parents sit on the deck relaxing. Great restaurants with FRESH SEAFOOD, Food Lion, Publix sand Lowes grocery store on/around island, public library, coffee shop, Dairy Queen, pizza and sandwich shops all within 1-4 miles of this beachfront house. Tennis, golf, kayaking, skateboarding, fishing all close by. We allow monthly renters in the off season November - March which is very relaxing and perfect weather.
