The perfect place for a romantic honeymoon, a restful getaway, or a fun-filled family vacation. Welcome to Penthouse 22. Our top floor, ocean front condo is just steps from the sand and surf.

We are a consistently A+ rated unit and have just re-decorated with new flooring, furniture and paint, new doors, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and decor. Everything is fresh, clean, and comfortable.

One of the few condominium complexes on Maui with central air-conditioning, our 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo has magnificent unobstructed views of the ocean. The living room has a Queen size pull out sofa bed and a new comfortable recliner.

The modern kitchen is stocked with every amenity and there is a full size washer and dryer in the unit. A brand new pillow-top King size bed awaits you in the bedroom/bath area. Bathroom can be accessed without going thru the bedroom.

PH22 is very private and quiet. The spectacular ocean views are unequelled. During winter months watch whales breech, and turtles swim as you relax on the lanai.

Enjoy TV, DVD, and stereo music in the living room, and TV also in the bedroom. For your convenience we offer FREE Internet hook up, and FREE long distance telephone service in the United States and Canada. Now available, Netflix for your added enjoyment.

SUGAR BEACH RESORT has many amenities. Beautiful grounds with flowering tropical plants, a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, BBQ's, tennis courts, putting green, restaurant massage center. and activities center where you can arrange for any activity available on the island.

Our resort sits at the beginning of a pristine 6 miles of undeveloped soft sand beach. Centrally located on the island, we are only 20 minutes from the airport, and close to great restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. An unforgettable vacation awaits you!

Great location comfortable condo

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo had all we needed. Thirty minutes in any direction led us to great food and activities in addition to all available outside the door. We took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrella in the unit.

Sugar Beach is the Best!

We thought the place was very comfortable, loved the recliner, don't usually get that in a condo. The furniture was very nice. We would stay here again,in fact we are planning another trip in 2014!

Fantastic Vacation!

This is our 3rd stay in this Condo over the years and it is always the same. Immaculate, location, location, location. Quiet, clean, picturesque. Never disappointed. Feeling grateful to have experienced Maui in this place again and will be back!

Amazing views!

We really loved the location and proximity to the beautiful beach! The house was tastefully decorated. The only downside was the cameras inside we found after we had been there a couple days made us extremely uncomfortable as we were naked a majority of the time.

Excellent location!

The condo was super clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The location is perfect for exploring the entire island! My ONLY negative would be it does not have an electronic entry so you must keep up with a key which can be annoying. Otherwise it is the perfect choice!

Marvelous Maui on Sugar Beach

Beautifully decorated. Very clean. The pictures are very accurate. Great views of the beach and sunset. Nice pool. Appreciated the air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast on the lanai was awesome. Nice beach for walking and swimming. Nicely located a short drive from the busyness of Kihei.

Fabulous getaway space

The location is excellent right on the beach!! You are on the top floor and it is so peaceful. Drinking coffee on the lanai every morning listening to the waves what more can you want ! Unit is nicely decorated and comfy. The bed is a king and very comfortable. The shower has great water pressure. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The only confusion we had was by the time we arrived it was after 5pm. We were a little confused where the apartment was but figured it out. Granted we were extremely jet legged and brain function was low 😂. I would 100% recommend staying here. It had many extras like boogie boards, sand mats, sand umbrellas, noodles, snorkeling gear, etc. You can also rent things like beach chairs, coolers at the facility. Other extras include aloe for burns, hair dryers, handheld mirrors, lotion and more. Don’t stay at a crammed in a hotel enjoy the extra space and amenities of a VRBO.

Great location in a beautiful bay

Great place on the 6th floor overlooking a beautiful bay with mountains on both sides. Communication was great and the unit was very clean and stocked. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. 10/10 would come here again.

Beyond our expectations!

The condo overlooks the ocean with a view beyond description. It was nicely decorated inside. There was a fully appointed kitchen and nice expandable table, Comfy king-size bed, And plenty of room in the condo. We will be recommending this condo to friends.

Good for the Soul

We had a wonderful stay. Loved eating on the balcony every day. My only negative comment would be about the person who attended to me when I checked in. After having experienced so much hospitality everywhere we went, it was disturbing to deal with her because she was not very nice. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Condo on Sugar Beach

Had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was better than we had ever expected. The owner is fabulous to work with. We were allowed an early check in . Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes. Can’t even begin to describe how special it was to have the ocean view while we ate out on the lanai every morning. We were so lucky to stay at this beautiful condo!

It was a beautiful property with stunning views. The owner was communicative and available throughout the process. The room was clean ad fully stocked with all amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Best location in Maui

We have been coming to Sugar Beach for 10 years. The property is beautiful and so well-maintained. We have never had a negative experience. The location is perfect for go to different locations on the island with a minimum amount of driving. The beaches are beautiful and look forward to being back next year.

Overall rating is good. Located about 6 miles from airport.

Overall rating is good and pretty view of the beach and ocean. Fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. All the pans are badly damaged with scratches and need to be replace. Not healthy to use for cooking. Disappointed that we cannot see sunrise or sunset from balcony. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Right on the bay, gorgeous views and comfy home

This rental was perfect for our family who did a lot of exploring but also cooking during our stay. The unit is stocked with all appliances you may need to cook lovely meals. They go out of their way to make the apartment feel like home. Definitely recommend. It is also a very central location in Maui- by car it is quite easy to get to both the north and east/ west parts of Maui. Check in instructions were a bit confusing as we arrived after dark Overall great experience with this property

Beautiful view

If you are looking for a 5 star ocean view, then this is the condo for you. This condo is centrally located in Maui, making it convenient for excursions around the island. There is a long sandy beach to take walks and runs. (We went to other beaches for snorkeling and playing.) The condo is well stocked with kitchen appliances and there were some basic cooking staples there as well. The sofa bed is fairly comfortable and the king bed is extra soft. There are body boards, and beqch chairs, and plenty of towels! There is also a tourism and snorkel company on site (Maui Sights and Treasures). The grounds and pool are kept up daily. It was often very windy, especially in the afternoons, but we thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home!

This condo is amazing! We had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, an amazing view, and a great beach/pool area. The location is great. The beach area is fantastic and a 10 min drive to many restaurants and shops on South Kihei road.
