This is a great mountain hideaway for 3-4 people. Unless you're really accustomed to driving winding mountain roads, plan to arrive in daylight. The scenery is beautiful & the setting is peaceful. It's beautifully furnished and very well stocked. Thanks so much to our host for a fabulous fall break!

Correct we recommend coming during daylight there are no street lights on the mountain.

My husband and I along with our huge fur baby, Oliver enjoyed our stay on top of the mountain! The cabin is very well appointed, very clean, and so very quiet! The trek up and down the mountain is exciting. We looked for bears, but did see any. Yea! We would recommend this cabin and these wonderful host for your stay in Ellijay.

Great, I see the wine and we also have several vineyards and wine tasting tours amongst the many apple orchards. Awesome ..

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with beautiful views. We will definitely book again the next time we are in the area.

Very clean and private cabin tucked away in the mountains. We had a difficult time on the gravel road, so I would recommend an AWD vehicle.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia mountains.Every morning started with coffee on the porch while listening to the birds and peaceful sounds of nature. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cabin was cozy and inviting. We spent our evenings playing board games, taking walks, relaxing by the fire, and watching deer play nearby. Those quiet moments became some of our favorite memories.The location was perfect for exploring. We rode the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, went tubing with Toccoa Valley Campground, enjoyed a delicious meal at Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, and even made several roadside stops just to sit and listen to the river. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.If you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle of everyday life and truly embrace nature, this cabin is exactly that. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend!

Coffee out back and the sun is DUE east in the morning and if you take a walk around the surrounding road at sunset you get a very long western view it is awesome. take the trail to the tipp top and bring a flash light for the way back.

This place is amazing!! All the way at the top of the mountain, you have privacy and peace. We will definitely be staying here again.

Enjoyable Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a bit off the beaten path but the setting was very private. The internet / WiFi worked well. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again should I be returning to the area.

The cabin was amazing. Not only was it away from everyone and everything but it was very quiet and that’s a plus . Looking at the stars at night and the sun rise was definitely beautiful. I will definitely be booking them again.

Perfect Getaway Spot

Everything was great. It is a good place to go to getaway from the city and be in the tranquility of the forest. It is a good spot to be close with family or friends. Has all the basic needs. It's close to a couple of river tubing spots!

Mountain Cabin

Nice clean cabin / pet friendly up in the mountains by Ellijay Georgia Quiet and remote Deer running around and fire pit which we used Good internet and TV’s with satellite station for sports and major channels

Great getaway

We had a great two week vacation at the cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the walks out in the woods with the dog. I really enjoyed being able to do some target shooting in the back yard. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wilderness getaway.

Thanks Richard, yes the property is on the national forest and gives our guests opportunities few properties offer including hunting, mushroom harvesting, hiking and the upcoming fall foliage. Wildlife thrives at the top of our mountain a must see.

Retreat

This was a lovely cabin very much away from it all. It is a drive to arrive, but worth the privacy and the escape. The hosts are excellent in responding to any need or concern.

Exceptional

My husband wanted a cabin in the woods and this cabin didn't disappoint. Exceeded our expectations and even our 5 pound Chihuahua loved it. The owner also had no issues extending our stay by an extra day. Peaceful, relaxing, many trails nature at it's Best!

Great Spot in the Mountains!

The property itself was amazing. Just a cozy little cabin tucked away high in the mountains. The road is a little rough in a couple of spots, so definitely wouldn't make it there with a low-to-the-ground car. We saw lots of deer while we were there!

The property was great! It was very quiet out there and the cabin was super clean. The beds were comfortable and the decor was cute and on theme for a little cabin! The road to get out there was to be expected for an off the beaten path cabin, but be prepared for the windy/bumpy roads. We saw some deer and other wildlife from the porch in the morning. Would return and stay again if we need to come back to the area.

Quiet mountain getaway

This is a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Great cabin that had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Our host was prompt to reply when I had a question. The cabin is a bit of a drive from town so we picked up supplies prior to heading up the mountain. Highly recommended.

Yes we are about 30 minutes from door to town. 15 of that is going up the mountain.

A perfect getaway

The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything my husband and I needed for the long holiday weekend. While service was spotty, the wifi was fast and the owner was incredibly helpful with directions to get to the property and gave a few suggestions on things we could do in town. If we come through that area again, we will 100% stay there again.

Mountain Cabin

Super cute little cabin in a very quiet spot. It was about 35-40 minutes from most things but I don’t think that’s bad! The gravel trail to get there was a little rough but we made it with our front wheel drive sedan. May be difficult without AWD different times of the year. Our dog had a good time also!😊
