The house was wonderful. Very nicely appointed and well stocked kitchen. We had enough of everything for our group of 16 which made it easy. The proximity to the ski hill was great and made it easy to be out on the hill all day, coming back for lunch or breaks for the kids. We love this neighborhood and hope to come back!

Beautiful home in stunning location

We truly enjoyed our stay in this magnificent location. The owner of the property was incredibly helpful in guiding us about various activities in the area. Highly recommend this property and we will be back.

The property was excellent. Ski access to “Home Again” at the end of the end cul-de-sac. Access was very easy and the management was very easy to work with. He showed up to help us set up access to the YouTube TV. This property has our highest recommendation.

Stay at the Homestead

Fantastic location with ample and extra space for our group of 10. Easy access to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Beautiful home with beautiful views.

Wonderful vacation home

This family trip was our first time to Montana. The house was perfect for what we needed. We would definitely recommend staying here with a big group. Derek was always helpful and a great host.

Great Townhouse!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vrbo. Derek was very helpful during our stay. The townhouse was nicely appointed with everything from comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and nice bath towels. The location/proximity to skiing was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for big families

Two families stayed here and we all fit perfectly Kids enjoyed the hot tub and we also used grill to be able to hang out at the place. Thanks!

Group of 15 had a great time

We had a great time at this cabin. The location is great for GNP as well as Whitefish. The cabin had plenty of space for our group of 15 (4 couples and 7 kids). The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Excellent Vacation

Derek was very accommodating the entire trip. He went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. The property was exactly as described and was enjoyed by all four families. We will definitely be back.

The Homestead was great

The extra large, thick, fluffy, soft bath towels were just one of the features which made The Homestead a 5-Star. Nice design, big rooms, tall ceilings, super equipped kitchen, view, fancy TV's - it had it all.

Three Generation Family Vacation

The Homestead was perfect for our family stay in Montana. The home is beautiful with great views of the mountains. Wildlife spotting off the balcony was was amazing. Derek was an awesome and responsive host.

Great Family reunion

This house was wonderful for our whole family to get together. Enough space for all. Great views! The owners were wonderful to deal with with. Montana is beautiful and we hope to come back to this house again!

Great family time!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Whitefish and our host was the best! I would say the picture on VRBO of the place is a little misleading as it appears you are renting the entire house but it is a duplex. We still had plenty of room for our family.

The best place to stay for a summer trip in the Flathead Valley

The Homestead was the perfect place for my friends and me to stay while vacationing in Whitefish. The home was clean and had everything we would need/want to have a good time. The surrounding area is peaceful and so incredibly beautiful. Also, Derek made us feel welcome and was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. If you are considering a visit to Whitefish or even the surrounding area this is a great place to stay!

Best VRBO I’ve ever had!

We are avid travelers and often use VRBOs - this is by far the best we’ve had. We were a varied group- from teens to grandparents and everyone was comfortable and happy. Beautiful Mountain Views and a wonderful host to boot! Derek was also like a concierge, giving great recommendations on what to see and do! Don’t think twice- stay here!

Whitefish family vacation

We all really enjoyed our stay in Whitefish and surrounding areas. This place has nice space for sleeping and the kitchen is well stocked and an easy place to gather. The hot tub on the deck was a fun addition. The decks a little small for all of us but that’s the only drawback. Derek was a great host and checked in with us several times to make sure everything was good.

Wedding Ski Trip

Fit our needs. Plenty of kitchen utensils and seating. Wonderful access to the hill. Master bed and spare bedroom attached was not the best arrangement.

David, We enjoyed meeting you and having your wedding group stay in our mountain home. We had a total of 28 wedding groups stay in our Whitefish Mountain Homes in 2024. Sorry to hear and we apologize if our bedroom layout was not the best for your group or if the description was not clear. This is our published description and floor layout: Spacious King Master Bedroom with Vaulted Ceilings, Blackout Blinds, Surround Sound Sonos Speakers, dresser, private tv, walk in Closet and oversized Bathroom, complete with 6x6 ft shower that has 3 shower heads and and oversized deep soaker tub There is a private adjoined guest bedroom with access through the master bedroom walk through closet that includes 2 twin beds and 1 full sized bed The Top Floor has 2 individual bedrooms with 4 beds, that can accomodate up to 5-6 people. We hope to have you and your group stay with us again!
