The house is fabulous and the view is incredible! It was great to get out and explore and then come back and relax by the pool and watch the weather over the ocean. We saw many kinds of birds like Toucans and could hear the Howler Monkeys occasionally. The hosts were very communicative and the information book on site was exceptional.

The photos online do not do this view justice. The house was perfect for our family of 6 and the view was unbeatable. Tom was amazing and met us in town to show us the way our first day there which was super helpful. We are already planning our trip back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay here. The view is unbelievable - we could sit on the back patio for hours. The hosts sent many videos and guides on how to have the best stay. We had to private chefs come to the villa and cook for us - best meals we had. The hosts recommended their favorite restaurants and they didn’t steer us wrong. Our group would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great trip!

Tom n Christine goes out of their way to make your stay wonderful. The atmosphere is so relaxing, fresh flowers cut, the beds are so comfy. The pool was wonderful n view was amazing. If you’re staying in this area. It’s a must!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. This was my husband and Is' 6th time in CR. We started bringing our young children to CR over 10 years ago. This trip our now adult children brought their significant others and my 77 year father in law came too. The 4 master bedrooms was the perfect layout for our family members. If we weren't sleeping we spent most of our time when at the house in the pool or around the large outdoor table. Uvita is an amazing place to visit. All the local people and businesses are so kind and welcoming. I can't wait until our next trip.

The place is amazing. Perfect way to start and end the day. Minutes from a variety of beaches. Within hour from a wealth of Costa Rican adventures. Came with outstanding hospitality from Jaguar Property Management including extensive guidance and recommendations for anything one might want on a trip to the area. Better communication than we’ve ever experienced for a short term rental - be it via Vrbo or other. Makes navigating a new uncertain area that much more comfortable.

This property was amazing and Jaguar Property Management (Tom and Christine) were awesome. They really took very good care of us while we were there. We stayed for 14 days and the views will never be beat. The four bedrooms with onsuite bathrooms were perfect for all of us. I would highly recommend this property for a group of 4 couples or family with teenage adults needing their own space. The views form the pool of the Pacific Ocean and the sunset were some the best we've seen in Costa Rica.

Incredible views from Casa bellina Pacifica

The property was beautiful, including the infinity edge pool, four en suite bedrooms and almost daily springs of Toucanss.

Host Christine was helpful and quick to respond to questions prior and during trip. Property was gorgeous- pictures don’t do it justice. Impeccable sunset views. House was well-equipped with most everything you need. It is a steep, bumpy road up so highly recommend renting a 4x4- taxis are expensive down the hill but we used one several nights for dinner. Beautiful property- I didn’t want to leave!

Amazing week in paradise

Amazing stay at Casa Ballena. The house is perfectly equipped for all you vacation needs. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. East to get to multiple beaches and waterfalls. The sunset views from the infinity pool can’t be beat!

Great home!

The house was very nice and well equipped. The view was outstanding and all our time was spent in the pool staring at the view! We were greeted each day by toucans and various other birds. The owners were very responsive whenever there was a need. We would definitely come stay again. Amazing trip!

Slice of Heaven

Great house layout for couples, private, clean, well cared for, and just beautiful. Amazing views and great pool. Would have liked more shade around the pool. Had an amazing time here, loved the restaurants and bars, and local tours. Would recommend this place to friends, families, couples or anyone who is looking for a slice of heaven.

Gorgeous view!

Wonderful stay at this gorgeous house overlooking the pacific. Perfect size for our family group of 11 and a great place to spend Christmas. Pool was fabulous, view was spectacular and we saw lots of fun birds. Hill was a little tricky with the rain and we did lose power the last evening but such is life. Pura vida!

Amazing property

Had a great time. The location and view is incredible. The drive up to the house is steep, but seemed well maintained and not as bad as I thought it might be (still need 4x4). Beds were comfortable and house layout is good. Heard howler monkeys and saw several toucans while hanging out in the pool. Looking forward to coming back sometime.

Fantastic Experience

When you arrive and see the view for the first time, there is nothing quite like it. Tom and Christine were the most thorough hosts we have ever stayed with, and the property reflects that attention to detail. Could not recommend more highly.

Great week

What a great week. Brand new house. We were the 2nd to stay in it. Awesome views. Magical sunsets from the pool. We have been visiting CR for the last 10 years. Tom and Christine are the best property managers to date.

Dream paradise

This home was 10/10 and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Uvita! The pictures don’t do the place justice, as the view is incredible! This place is great if you’re traveling with a group because each room has an incredible view and a bathroom (everyone gets the feeling that they got a great room)! The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, and the beds, sheets, pillows were SO comfortable. The AC and fans in the bedrooms kept it nice and cool, and the host was super responsive. As noted in the description, you do need a 4x4 vehicle as the route to the house is quite steep.

Stunning Views

This gorgeous villa sits atop the most amazing view of Cano Island, the Three Sisters and the Osa Peninsula. There are four bedrooms with their own private bathrooms and all rooms have sliding glass doors that look out to the ocean. The infinity pool is a perfect size to swim laps or lounge around. The kitchen and living area are open to the views as well. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and serving dishes. The gas grill is a real plus as well. We loved our time here and will do our best to return sometime in the near future.

Well worth it

This was my family and I first trip to Costa Rica and it was nothing short of amazing. This property is absolutely stunning talk about million dollar views. Tom and Christine answered any and all questions in a timely manner. Property was spotless beds were probably the most comfortable beds I've slept in on a vacation. If your looking for a house that is private yet not far from stuff to do this is the spot for you. Just make sure if your renting a car it definitely has 4×4 because the road up to the house you will definitely need it.

Magnificent Property - Don’t Miss

The house is located in Ballena up on a mountain, overlooking the thick jungle and the ocean. The birds you will hear and see are amazing. The house is beautiful and spacious with everything you need. Floating out in the pool, watching the view is a memory I will never forget. There’s a toucan, a tiger heron and all kinds of other beautiful birds that come to visit everyday. At Sunset the jungle comes alive and the sounds are other-worldly. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful. My friend and children were equally amazed. Thank you!
