This is a fabulous shore rental—so well appointed, modern kitchen outfitted for cooking, comfy beds, sheets and towels included, amazing gathering spaces inside, out front and in the back patio area (with shade!), fire pit, plus a heated, easy in and out pool! A short walk to bay beach and gorgeous sunsets, and an easy ride to our favorite Cape May spots. We are already planning our next stay! Highly recommend!

Perfect for a family getaway

This was our second stay and it’s perfect for a family getaway . A short drive could get you right into cape may and you can walk right to the bay side to see the sunset .

Suitable for the whole family

As advertised- two blocks from the Bay- make sure to go during high tide! We enjoyed our time there.

We had excellent communication with our hosts throughout and for check in and check out. They were gracious and answered every question quickly and thoroughly. The home itself was a dream - very clean and updated, well equipped, very comfortable with ample space for our large family and 2 dogs. The amenities are great with a pool, a fire pit and a screened in porch in back plus a comfortable front porch. All in all there are 6 outdoor places that people can gather. This beautiful home is amoung the best we have ever had in 20 years using VRBO. We hope to be able to stay again in the future.Thank you Rob and Amy for sharing your home with us. Fantastic house - amazing owner

Rob’s attention to detail made his home welcoming, clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, fenced in yard, bikes and kayaks and close proximity to the bay made our stay more enjoyable.

Great host, Scenic Stay

The host, Rob, was very communicative and responsive which made everything smooth and easy. The house is nicer than the pictures make it seem. Very spacious and comfortable with thoughtful touches. The neighborhood is quaint and the public bayfront just around the block is beautiful at sunset, high tide. A very nice stay!

Perfect for our gathering

We rented this to have a place where we could celebrate my brother in laws 75th birthday he and his daughter live in Berlin NJ and we drove up from SC we wanted to be close to Cape May for all of the activities there and the Wildwood board walk and enjoy the dog friendly beach that we walked to with his and our dogs. The weather didn’t cooperate but that didn’t stop us from having a great time the house had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay, huge bedrooms, fenced back yard for the dogs, and convenient to everything.

Short Reunion

The house is well maintained, clean and very cozy. There are plenty of beds for a large party. We loved the screened back porch where we spent most of our mornings having coffee and tea and chatting with friends. Cape May and wildwood beach are within a 20 minutes drive. The house was perfect for our reunion. Rob, the host, is very helpful and responsive to our needs.

Best family vacation

This home met all of our expectations and more. It was very clean with beautiful decor. We felt right at home. Our family truly enjoyed our stay especially the early mornings and late nights on the screened in porch out back. The children's puzzles were really nice to enjoy family time around the table. Being able to use the beach chairs, wagon and umbrella that were available for use made for more room in our vehicle to pack other necessities. Rob the owner was always available for questions and so nice to work with. We can't wait to go back next year!

A most wonderful place like a home!

Overall the place was FANTASTIC! The pictures absolutely DO NOT do it any justice. It is bigger and better than what we had expected. The living space below was large, the bedrooms were spacious, the lanai (screened sun-room?) was perfect - as was the deck. Our pet (a 12 week old Golden Retriever) was able to make himself at home on the shelf of the center table in the lanai! Kids loved it - all the supplies were there, and the garage had beach stuff that we were able to take to the beach and use. Including a couple of umbrellas and many chairs! There were 9 of us and our pet. Loved every minute we spent there and would love to go there again. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Thank you for the nice words. We do our best to make sure the home has everything a family needs to be able to enjoy and relax on vacation. We also love the screened porch and the large open floor plan and find them both great spaces for families to gather.

Junebug was great. The host were great to communicate with, even providing insight to a spot where/ when to launch the kayaks. The pool was spotless and pool service was in twice to check on it. The screened in porch was great as it let us escape the green heads when there was no breeze. The house itself was as advertised with plenty of very comfortable beds.Located about 2 block or so from the bay, and 15-20 minutes to N Wildwood beach (2nd street). This beach was free and access was easy. Shopping in Cape May is literally down the road. Plenty of nearby restaurants to choses from. THANK YOU for a great week!

Just what we needed

The house is as photoed and very comfortable. It was extremely clean and well laid out. Just about anything you needed was there. The screened-in porch was especially nice . It was a little farther than the main area of Cape May then expected being a 20 minute drive. But only a 15-minute drive from the boardwalk of Wildwood and a 10 minute drive from several large supermarkets and shops. So if you're not interested in daily beach excursions it is very well situated to get to a variety of areas to visit. The only downside was the Bay that is just a few short blocks from the house was not suitable for use. Something we had not anticipated. There is a really nice preschool playground a short 10 minute walk. All in all it was a very relaxing and easy two weeks. The owner was always available and very helpful.

Gail, We are glad you enjoyed your time at the JuneBug Cottage. Sorry you were disappointed in the bay. We find it is wonderful for morning strolls by the water, kayaking, beach combing and some of the best sunsets over the water. The majority of our guests have enjoyed it for these activities. We do recommend to guests that for true beach swimming they will need to travel 10 minutes down the bay or to one of the very close beaches (Cape May, Wildwood, etc).

Beautiful Sunsets

Gorgeous house, beautifully decorated, very clean with well stocked kitchen. Pictures don’t do it justice. Screened in back porch was a bit hit with whole family. Spent many hours there having morning coffee and playing games. Very quiet neighborhood close to bay and beautiful sunsets. All the comforts of home. Would surely stay there again.

Perfect location, quiet neighborhood

Everything was perfect from initial booking. Owner was amazing and on point with communication, which was beyond appreciated! Home is beautiful, immaculate, beautiful decor and screened in porch! Rob was great with recommendations for us to enjoy ! We can't wait to go back! Perfect location as we went to wildwood boardwalk almost daily, and Cape May. Evenings by the bay ,which was a short skip away , were beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful stay on the bay!

My girlfriends and I had a lovely time at Junebug cottage, though based on the size I would say it's much more than a cottage! Our favorite part was the screen porch. The Delaware bay was right down the street and beaches were accessible 10 min away. Rob was a fantastic communicator and gave us great recommendations for the area. Highly recommend staying here.

Little Junebug

The house was very spacious and clean. Looks exactly like the photos. My family of four and another family of five stayed at the home and we each had plenty of space. The location of the property was convenient to both Wildwood and Cape May.
