We’re glad you enjoyed the condo and ocean views! This particular unit has a Deluxe interior rating, meaning it’s well-maintained and has been updated within the past ten years. While it meets Parrish standards, it has not been recently renovated. We apologize if this was unexpected during your stay. Please don’t hesitate to reach out next time if you have any questions or need assistance finding a more recently updated property. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. Aloha.

Mahalo Jeff for your review and comments. We are happy that you liked to location of the unit and had an easy time checking in. Our team is having a look at the mattress topper you mentioned and we will be sure to replace it if necessary. It sounds like overall you enjoyed the unit and we are already looking forward to hosting you again.

Poipu Sands 418 does not offer AC. The property has an interior rating of deluxe, and the photos of the condo are of the actual furniture so that should not have been a surprise to you. Had you let us know about the difficulty with the screen door we would have sent our team over to assist. We are happy to assist you on a return visit to Kauai and choose an accommodation that will be more aligned with your needs. We look forward to connecting with you in the future and thank you for your feedback.

Mahalo Marcia for your wonderful review! We’re glad the condo met your expectations and that you enjoyed the convenient location. We appreciate your feedback on the towel bars and will consider it for future improvements. We look forward to hosting you again.

Mahalo for your review Sorry the condo did not fully meet your expectations. Our records show the only communication received during your stay was on your arrival day, you mentioned two minor items. As you stated — “We just wanted to let you be aware of those two items. We don't have a problem with it, just wanted to let you know that was the condition they were in when we took possession of the unit. Thank you. Small details really.” Since you indicated no need for assistance, our team respected your wishes and did not intervene during your stay. Therefore , your three-star rating was unexpected, as the concerns mentioned were neither reported as issues to be resolved nor described as significant at the time. We take honesty and communication seriously and rely on guests to share any concerns so we can promptly address them. We would have corrected anything had we been asked. Hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience should you return to Kauai in the future.
