So clean and perfect distance from the beach. Many surprising nice touches (sound machines and wireless charging stations) we will definitely be rebooking this one!

Great location and house!

We had a great stay only wished outside shower was more functional with the shower head and the dryer is struggling to dry a few items however place was stocked well excellent kitchen equipment too!

Great vacation spot

Property was nice and accommodating. It was an easy walk to the beach. Kids enjoyed hanging out on the swing on the top balcony.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Only thing I would recomment is a gate at very top of stairs.

Beautiful Vacation Spot!

Our stay was wonderful and the house is even better than pictured! The porches and ocean views make this a great place for family to gather. Communication was excellent and timely. Thanks so much!

OKI Beach Stay

Very nice property, clean, spacious. Kitchen is on top level. One street back from beachfront road. Easy rental with VRBO.

Great experience!

My group had so much fun, the place was clean and the kitchen was so well stocked! I had daily communication from the owner making sure everything was all right. Such a tiny walk to the beach!

Great stay

Really great location. Lots of stuff for the kids which made traveling less cramped. Kitchen well stocked with cooking options. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Bed were comfortable. We did have an issue with A/C but management was out immediately to get issue resolved. Very good communication and happy to work with Salt and Sand again.

Something that future guests should be aware of is that, at least as of July 25, 2026, there is NO hot tub. We reserved the house before the title of the listing was edited in April, 2026 to reflect there WAS a hot tub, so we weren't disappointed or anything. The VRBO title still inadvertently shows this house has a hot tub. Other than that, the house lived up to its description. Be aware, access to the top floor bathroom is inside the bunk bedroom. So, if kiddos are asleep, you have to go downstairs for a bathroom. Speaking of the bunk bedroom, it is impressively well appointed with activities/games for the kids. The kitchen is also very well appointed, except for baking sheets. The family also liked the cozy blankets combined with very comfortable living room furniture. Another nice bonus is the "business center" located in the closet of one of the bedrooms. It's a computer desk/chair/monitor set up to use. We recommend Sweet EmOcean!

Enjoyable home for family vacation

We enjoyed our week at Sweet Em’s. This home comfortably fit Our family of 8 adults and several littles under 5. It was well equipped with about everything you might want for a beach vacation. We had a few issues that required a call to maintenance but they promptly answered and attended to our concerns. Short walk to beach was a plus and outdoor shower welcomed. Very appreciative of the welcome items including a bottle of wine. Each room is tastefully decorated to help you enjoy a beach vacation! Would stay here again.

Emotion

The house was a nice house. It wasn’t very clean. We cleaned as much as we could. The door that goes outside in the master needs repaired. One of the drawers in the kitchen was barely hanging. We cleaned the stairway railing. The filter on the AC unit is filthy. Handprints hadn’t been cleaned on the doors. The mirrors were dirty.
