Our wonderful Chalet Pironnet has the most stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, including the impressive Staubbach waterfall, the dramatic mountains and the iconic church. If that's not enough to make you BOOK our place, read on :) So not only are the views the best in the village, we are very close to all the conveniences: the bus stop, train station, cable car, restaurants, cafés, shops, & a laundromat. You will also have quick access to the ski resorts and all other outdoor activities.

Chalet was easy to access from the train station and had the best view in town looking up the valley. Was warm and comfortable after days travelling around the mountains. Sara was great checking in that we were ok with accessing the apartment. We had a wonderful stay.

The view!! You can’t tell from the photos how incredible it is. I know you think you can tell, but in person it is unreal. The chalet is cute and had everything we needed and then some. Rob and Sara handled a small issue we had swiftly and professionally. I couldn’t be happier. If I am ever fortunate enough to be back in Lauterbrunnen this is where you’ll find me. Oh and there is a viewing area that all of the tourists visit for photos right outside the window. We rarely noticed them because we were on the top floor and the sounds of the waterfall and river drown them out. It was hot while we were there yet the chalet stayed adequately cool with the windows open and fans on.

Delightful stay in Lauterbrunnen

Sara and Rob's flat was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Perfect location too. Magnificent flat and magnificent hosts!

Christmas Getaway

I have stayed in numerous properties using VRBO for more than a decade across the continental United States, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Europe, and this property stands out as one of the absolute best.The pictures on the website showcasing the valley views don’t do justice to the breathtaking beauty you’ll experience when you open the windows. Truly stunning.Rob and Sarah were excellent hosts—very communicative before our stay. Rob even stopped by to introduce himself while skiing in the area, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail made our stay even more memorable.If there were a scale higher than 5 stars, this property would deserve it. Highly, highly recommend!

The views are everything advertised and more! We really enjoyed our stay. Its very close to the center of town and an easy walk to the train station.

The best view one can get in Lauterbrunnen!!

It’s a dream view condo, spacious and convenient! It’s. Rey comfortable for us a family of 4 including 2 kids. We made our meals most of the time. The nespresso machine and capsules have hooked us up that we just order a set. We’ve missed it so much after departure!

Perfect location

Lauterbrunnen is a great location for day trips around the region and Rob and Sara's place has everything you could ask for! Perfect location and a very comfortable apartment. Bus stop across the street and a short walk to the train. It had everything we needed and we would 100% recommend it!

Just perfect

We absolutely loved our stay at Chalet Pironnet. Star of the chalet, of course, is the postcard worthy view out of the windows, but it is perfect in so many other ways too. Everything was very clean and fully functional/almost new condition. Kids loved the bunk beds. Location is super convenient - several restaurants nearby, bus stop is basically right there and an easy 8 minute walk to the train station. And it is still completely quiet inside. Unsurprisingly there is a popular photo spot right in front of the windows. It was fun to watch all the people coming there to take pictures and we even saw couple of pre-wedding photo shoots. To top it all, Rob and Sara are excellent hosts and were very helpful during our stay. If staying in Lauterbrunnen, I don't see any reason to stay anywhere else.

The best vacation rental!!!

This will go down as one of my family’s favorite vacations ever and a huge part of that had to do with this rental! The view exceeded all our expectations (and we saw all the pictures and social media videos beforehand). We had everything we needed. Waking up to the delicious espresso maker and adorable coffee drinking porch spot made each morning extra special! Also, the shower was so relaxing and spacious. We were lucky to meet the owner Rob and he is such an amazing, helpful guy! He recommended a restaurant (Oberland Hotel) that served delicious traditional Swiss fondue. One funny bonus thing about the rental is right out front is a well known photo spot so we enjoyed watching everyone make memories and take pictures there. On our last day we were treated to a few inches of snow and everything looked like a winter wonderland. We were a family of 4 with 2 teens and everyone agreed this place is exceptional!

Beautiful Chalet

The Chalet has the most beautiful view of the valley. It is a short walk from the train station. With luggage it took us a little under 10 minutes. I would definitely stay again.

Storybook perfect!

This chalet was everything I hoped it would be! The views of the Lauterbrunnen valley from the house are even better than advertised. It was like staying in a storybook. The location was fantastic - very short walk to the train, restaurants and shops. The property was very clean and we had great communication from the owners. I really hope we get to stay here one day again!

Amazing View Steps From Town Center

We enjoyed our stay at this amazing property. The view of the village, church and the falls can be seen from the living and master bedroom. The entire apartment was very clean and well maintained. I was thankful for the coffee, tea, cream, sugar and chocolate treats left by the hosts. The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything you’d need. We were also thankful for the multiple fans since it was warm during our visit. The beds were comfortable and I slept well each night of our stay. It was enjoyable to see the falls from our windows every morning and every evening. I would stay here again in a heartbeat; such a dream come true.

Postcard Views!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Check in and check out were both super seamless, and the apartment itself was spacious, spotless and tasteful! The kitchen was well equipped and wonderful to cook in. The beds are very comfortable as well. The owners have thought of everything, making the stay easy and enjoyable. The apartment was so homey and charming, and the views were truly like a postcard. We can't recommend this apartment enough!

Incredible home and views

The pictures do not do this home justice. The view is incredible, it is well stocked, and Rob and Sara were great to communicate with. We’ve already shared the listing with other friends planning to visit!

Beautiful home for hiking in Switzerland

We loved this property! It is right in town with easy access to trains/ cable cars and restaurants. The unit is nicely decorated and comfortable. The owner responds quickly to all questions and there are nice touches such as an espresso maker and cozy blankets. We enjoyed hikes in Muerren and First/Grindelwald and dinner in Wengan - all so easy to access. Best of all - the views!!!

Wow, our dream vacation came true!

I don't know how anyone can give this property less than 5-stars. The photos on the listing are exactly what you get. Breathtaking views, excellent location (min walk to restaurants and train station), comfortable space. The owners were responsive and accommodating. Luaterbrunnen is a perfect central location to do day trips to surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!
