From Baveno, which is situated in a charming panoramic position, you have the opportunity to embark on the fantastic Borromean Islands - with their picturesque towns and gardens (900m quay). Stesa, the queen of the lake, is definitely worth a visit (4 km).



Madonna del Sasso on Lake Orta, a hermitage built on a rock between 1730 and 1748, is 32 km away and is ideally situated for excursions to the hills of Monferrato and the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (approx. 110 km) with their excellent wines and white truffles. The ancient Italian capital Turin with its museums and palaces (143km).
