Be our guest! We love our Punta Gorda home and we can't wait to share it with you- book your stay to see why we love it here!

Enjoy your time out on the lanai and take a dip in the heated pool. You may never want to leave this space!
You can try your luck at fishing off of the oversized dock…or simply enjoy the quiet lake vibes of the canal.

Punta Gorda has a great variety of restaurants within just a few minutes of the house (by car). A few of our favorites are The Riviera, Jelly Bird Café, F.M Don's, and Jay’s BBQ- but there are tons of options all around!

Fisherman's Village is just 5 minutes away and a great place for dining and shopping! (Naples Soap is my favorite store....but Simply Sweet comes in a very close second!) You really can't beat the shopping with a view here- it's a great place to spend a few hours. There are also fishing trips, kayak rentals, and harbor tours at Fisherman's Village.

There’s a huge Farmer’s Market downtown on Saturday mornings- it’s a great place to get fresh fruit and veggies and local arts and crafts. Make sure to leave some room in your suit case! On Sundays at History Park there’s also a great craft fair with a ton of different vendors to check out.

Looking for nature? Make sure to check out Ponce de Leon (amazing sunsets!) or Gilchrest Parks! You can find gorgeous beaches within 30-40 minutes of Punta Gorda- there are many to choose from.

This house sleeps 6-8 people but offers privacy with a split floor plan and two bathrooms. It's located on a quiet cul de sac.
A few of our amenities include: linens, pillows, bath towels, kitchen utensils, propane grill, and laundry. There are some pool floaties and beach towels available. Many extras are provided for your enjoyment- but we'd love your feedback on how to make your stay even better.

Most relaxing stay!

The house is beautiful and our host was an absolute jem. We stayed 4 nights and had the best time. The pool was so perfect and the views are spectacular! We enjoyed watching the boats go by; while we sat outside and enjoyed our meals. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful home. Well appointed and nicely decorated. While the home is dog friendly which was a big selling point for us, you would never know that walking into the place. So whether you are vacationing with a pet or not, this is a great place to stay. It has a great pool area facing due west which was great for mid or late day swims and cocktails. Lindsay was super attentive and responsive to make sure our stay was smooth from start to finish. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Punta Gorda is a great discovery!

We had a wonderful time staying in PG. Boating, dining, golfing, hiking, and shopping were many of our activities. However we loved chilling at the house, sunning and swimming daily! So relaxing!

Beautiful setting

The house was beautiful!! The pool and lani were great!! Love sitting on the dock at nite watching the fish! The view of the canal and other homes on the canal was awesome!!!

Relaxing Summer Getaway - Part 2

This was our second year in a row of staying at this great vacation home. The area, the beautiful house, and most importantly the relaxing pool brought us back for a 2023 visit. This summer, our family including two precious furbabies thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were centrally located for day trips to different beaches and discovered areas we had not yet visited. Lindsay was very responsive to any questions we had and was very welcoming!

Perfect fit for us

Loved it!! Clean, well equipped, nothing broken, great floor plan, comfortable. One of the very best VRBO’s I have ever stayed in. We had 17 people for Christmas dinner; it was not crowded and we had plenty of dishes and pans.

Lovely home with a very nice setting

We needed a place to stay for a week while our home was being repaired due to hurricane Ian's damage. This home was only a few minutes from our home, so it was perfect for us to relax and keep up with the repair progress. The house is clean and comfortable and the owners were considerate and kept in touch.

Great view

We had a couple of bumps with our stay. However our hosts quickly did what they could to remedy out concerns. Property was comfortable and the view is amazing. Pool was warm. Great place to enjoy Florida.

Great stay

The house is just as described! The house is in a nice & quiet neighborhood but close to everything! We were able to bring our dog which made our trip even better. Nice extras - toiletries in case you forgotten something & bottled water in fridge. The home is clean & comfortable, we would recommend & stay again.

Great home for a boating vacation

Picked this home as it appeared to have a dock that could accommodate our boat for a family vacation. We planned long weekend of trips to Cayo Coasta, Cabbage Key and Gasparilla Island. This home ended up being the perfect jumping off point for our trip. There were multiple boat ramps near the property to drop the boat in the water and the home had a nice new concrete dock and boat lift just 20 steps past the backyard pool! The property owners quickly responded to my questions and were checked in with us during the stay to ensure all was well. The home is perfect for a family of 7 and had everything you needed to a week of relaxing on the water. Will definitely stay at this property again!

Wonderful home, location, and owner interaction

The home was appointed very nicely and very clean. Beds were comfortable and bedding very nice. The pool was big enough and deep enough for the adults to have a refreshing swim and for the kids to play. Loved seeing dolphins in the canal multiple times. The owners were great at communicating before we arrived as we asked questions, throughout our stay, and afterwards as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Summer Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, lovely home. The location was great and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. The hosts were very accommodating and welcomed our dogs, which was important to us – and this helped us to choose this property for our getaway. We appreciated the amenities the hosts provided (plenty of bath towels, various kitchenware, coffee maker with various coffee flavors to name a few). The best part of the trip was the heated pool that we enjoyed day and night! Pool toys and beach towels came in handy and the LED lights around the pool made nighttime swims fun. Mornings were relaxing with coffee and views of both the pool and the neighborhood canal. When we weren't swimming, we were able to visit Fisherman’s village and some of the local shops in the area and met some really nice folks. We would love to come back for a future visit!

Hi! We’re Chris and Lindsay from Minnesota. We have three busy boys: Cash, Charlie and Coby ❤️
Chris owns a martial arts school and is a 6th degree black belt! I am a literacy tutor at an elementary school when I’m not being the taxi getting the boys to workouts, wrestling, tennis, karate, baseball, basketball, soccer, or swimming! Our family loves sports- especially seeing the MN Twins at Spring Training in sunny Florida. We love spending time on the lake fishing and pontooning- you can’t beat a Minnesota summer!

We found Punta Gorda through friends from MN and fell in love with the area right away. The city has a small town feel which we enjoy. You really can’t beat all of the amazing restaurant options- which is my favorite part of any vacation! It’s a great place for browsing consignment shops, checking out the HUGE farmer’s market, or finding a spot to enjoy a cocktail near the water.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We’ve made our Punta Gorda house a place where you can just walk in and relax. We fell in love with the huge sliding doors out to the lanai and think you’ll love them too- it’s a pretty great view.
