Take a relaxing getaway in this newly renovated Lake Haven Chateau, on Lake Hamilton. This place has it all. 3Bed/2.5Bath, large fully stocked kitchen/dining, living room, den with fireplace, game room as well as gas & wood firepits. One-of-a-kind dining room that sits over the water! It is less than 15 minutes to Historic Downtown Hot Springs & Oaklawn Racing & Gaming. When you're not relaxing on-site, it's just a short drive to all the wonderful attractions Hot Springs, has to offer.

You will have access to a shared game room, shared firepit, "house only" private patio area, swimming area and pier.

We have an amazing cottage, available for rent, on the same property. Check it out with the link below, if you need more space or if your looking for something a little smaller.

My family (husband, wife, two kids, grandma and beagle) stayed here for a great 3 day mini vacation. Being on the lake and seeing the boats pass by was so cool! Also the location was perfectly in the middle between Hot Springs and Lake Ouachita so we could do both a day on the Lake and touristy stuff in town. We would definitely stay here again. I will say the layout of the house is unique and there are a lot of different stairs so if someone has mobility issues or a wheelchair it would be challenging. It was super unique and fun for the kids though!

The house was nice setting perfect but was pricey paying 640$ or so for one night and not even staying there for a full 24hrs was pricey but besides the price it’s great great

Relaxing little getaway

This is a great property for a family/group vacation because 1) ability to be all together or in own private area 2) beautiful and relaxing views of the lake 3) well stocked for all your needs and 4) conveniently located should you want to get out and explore. We loved staying put as well as going to the nearby state park, race track, downtown Hot Springs, etc. We would definitely stay again, but would stay much longer than a couple of day.

Weekend getaway

The property was lovely with so much to do onsite. The kitchen had extra spices and seasonings which was a plus. It snowed the 2nd night we were there, so the picturesque windows and wood burning fireplace in the basement made our weekend even better. Communication with the property manager was excellent!

Great house for a getaway

The house is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/towels/pillows etc… has a washer/dryer. The game room was fun and a great addition, along with board games. It also has a jacuzzi … and of course the beautiful views of the lake… we definitely would rent again. Oh and it’s pet friendly (but the yard is not fenced in.)

This old house is very deceiving, all different levels, so not ideal for elderly and toddlers. Upon inspection we found the bed sheets not to be clean, secondary bathroom had an awful odor. The outdoor area is shared with the cottage right off the street, not ideal at all. The game room was the only commons area to watch tv and not enough comfortable seating for watching tv. The tv didn’t work which was not ok since it was collage World Series season. They did come switch out the tv so we could watch. I do not recommend this home.

It’s ok

The property was nice. The hot water did not work at property so we had to take cold showers. I was very upset with this. The rain made the stairs slippery and unsafe. If the hot water worked the trip would have been relaxing but it was very disappointing.

This was very unfortunate. If we had be told of the issue, we could have resolved it. The next guest told us the issue and we were able to fix it the same day. We have a handyman available that can fix almost any issue the same day. We just have to be told about it so we can address the issue. The stairs outside are normal concrete stairs which are level. We can't control the rain but can advise anyone to be cautious with it just as you would be on the road..

Great place for family vacation

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Hot Springs, AR. If you want to have quiet house with direct access to the lake - this is the place to go. House very clean, lot of space for family of 5 with pet. Our dog had blast. We had plenty of towels, cooking utensils, coffee and tea electric pots were very helpful. Many bathrooms for large family was a plus. Downstairs TV room was wonderful space for a movie night. Game room was not as much utilized though. Outside: plenty chairs, space to relax. We rented kayaks for the day - reasonable price. Team response is immediate with any questions or requests. Very helpful. Kids spent time on kayaks or swimming in the lake, hiking with dog in quiet neighborhood. Sun rise and sunset pics were memorable for us. Thanks James and team for making our short vacation memorable.

shared space...

The house was very clean and you can't be any closer to the water. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again if it wasn't such a "shared" property with another house. It does state the game room is shared with the other house which didn't matter to us since we didn't plan to play pool but you are sharing driveways and I was most concerned about the dock area down by the lake. And I did asked that specific question if it was also shared dock before we booked. It was supposed to be separate docks but that is not clearly defined for the guests in other house. I had to get them to move their boat so we could even fish and just added an element of tension as we are having drinks on the deck that evening and they are 20 feet away on "their" designated dock. There was not a word said between groups after I had them move their boat but just made for an awkward situation and we just won't stay here again because of this. If you have a large group and the other house is rented by your group than it would be the perfect set up but be conscience of this risk if you do not have both houses reserved.

Wonderful lake house

Our family of 7 absolutely loved this lake house. It was perfect for us, and our kids aged 15-8 years old. We loved swimming just steps from the house. It was deep enough to jump off the dock, but shallow enough closer to the house that the kids could touch. The whole place was very clean, comfortable, well stocked, lots of extra towels, great location, beautiful views, close to restaurants and shopping and fun activities. 5 stars for sure, we will miss it.

Relaxing at the Lake

The property was easy to find and had great views of the lake. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and watching the boaters. The house was very clean and well equipped. The only two negative things to say was that the description didn’t fully describe the house. It was not mentioned until the day of check in that the game room was a shared space with another house on the property. We didn’t have issues with other guest, but it would have been nice if that was mentioned in the listing. The other item not mentioned or photographed was the amount of stairs. We were planning on our older parents to come and luckily they didn’t because there was a set of stairs to each bedroom, from entry to main level, and main level to the lower level. We had a great time, but didn’t feel the description was very forthcoming.

Good stay

We enjoyed the chateau and had a fun family vacation. There are lots of stairs in the house and the downstairs area was pretty chilly in the evenings. Nice fishing dock and beautiful scenery with geese and ducks you can watch from the kitchen/ dining area. Kitchen could use more utensils as it seemed to be short on cutlery.
