Our condo is located at the beautiful Gulf Shores Plantation (GSP) Resort. The resort is a gated, family-oriented vacation community offering over 2000 feet of wide, sugar-white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico, with natural sand dunes and beautiful landscaping. You’ll be amazed at the activities available for all ages. This resort is perfect for your family get-away. You will want to come back year after year.

Our privately owned, second-floor, gulf front, one-bedroom, one-bath condominium is located in Palms, the newest building in the GSP resort. This building is parallel to the beach giving you a direct view of the gulf, pools, and beautiful landscaped grounds. The building has an elevator with luggage carts available for easy loading and unloading.

The living room is brightly decorated with a 43-inch HD flat-screen television, Roku streaming device, Blu-ray DVD player, queen-size sleeper sofa, swivel glider chair, and computer desk. The kitchen has granite countertops and is fully equipped with all the conveniences of home including refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, range, and microwave. A toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishes, utensils, etc. are also provided. A built-in granite dining table is adjacent to the kitchen for your dining pleasure.

The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and 32-inch HD flat-screen television. The unit comes complete with built-in standard twin size bunk beds. These beds will accommodate children or a smaller to average size adult. The large balcony features tables and chairs for outside relaxation. An added bonus is the washer/dryer off the kitchen for your convenience. This unit can accommodate up to six people. Decorated with a beach theme, our vacation rental condo promises you a wonderful family vacation on the Gulf of Mexico.

Best Stay Yet

Visit at least once a year to this same resort 8 stays so far, this was one of our favorite stays. Condo was easy to get to and very comfortable, beach was a very short walk. Definitely will stay in this one again.

Me and my family had a great time at the plantation resort as it was our second time to stay and it did not disappoint the condo was clean and it was just a short walk to the ocean we will definitely be back next year.

Summer vacation

The resort is perfect for our needs and we stay several times a year here. Only things with condo itself was patio door difficult to open and close and cleaning was not very good, but we enjoyed our relaxing stay.

Fort Morgan Getaway

The condo was in a great location, very clean and had everything we needed. My favorite part was you can see and hear the ocean from the balcony! The host was great with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Great views, lots of activities, beautiful drives. The condo was a great base and had everything we needed to cook some great seafood meals. The only disappointment - it rained 1/2 the time.

Beautiful views and great place to stay!

Communication with the owner was very helpful and all the fees were included which was a huge relief… parking, beach rental for our entire stay, access to all the facilities which were abundant at Gulf Shores Plantation including dedicated pickleball courts which we enjoyed! The condo has great views and easy walk up the stairs which made things very convenient plus the elevators were not crowded and we were able to use the handy carts to take our stuff both up and down without having to wait for a cart. Everything we needed it had and we loved having the washer and dryer in the condo to wash our bathing suits and wet clothes. As far as luxury, this was not the luxurious newest condo on the beach but if you love adventure and convenience this is the perfect choice! By the way, my husband loved the glider chair and we would love to come back in the future… maybe when it was not quite as crowded and hot as the 4th of July.

Over all a good visit

The mast bed was very uncomfortable, the sheets did not fit the bed and , there was not curtains in the bed room so the light from the out side walk way shined in and could not sleep

Awesome week!

Steve was very easy to communicate with and very prompt on sending all the needed information! Our stay was my husband, me, and our 4 kids ages 2-13. Everyone enjoyed the condo, this was our second trip to Gulf Shores Plantations. We will definitely book this condo again. We have stayed in many VRBOs and was the most well stocked kitchen we’ve had! The only kitchen item needed that I brought from home was my crockpot. The beds were all comfortable, with plenty of linens, our 13 and 2 yo were even comfortable on the sofa sleeper. 10/10 recommend!!

Great place

My wife and I stayed here with our three kids and had a great time. The location is wonderful with very easy access to the beach. The bunks in the hallway worked out great for the older kids. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions and the check in/out process was easy. The sleeper sofa was unusable as it was lopsided, unstable and had metal rods poking through the paper thin mattress. Also no sheets - bring your own. I ended up just crashing on the floor instead (wife had the bedroom with the baby and someone had to be close to the kids on the bunks). Not a huge deal but thought it was worth mentioning. I would stay here again with my family.

Thanks for letting us know about the sofa sleeper. A new sofa sleeper mattress was installed in December, 2023.

Very dirty!!

Carpets were very dirty, sofa broken down, screen door was off the track, chair soiled so bad I wouldn't sit in it. Very disappointed! Will never stay again! I didn't contact property manager, probably should have.😕

Dear Theresa, We absolutely wish you would have contacted us regarding your issues. We were there in December and the sofa was not broken, screen door was on track and unit in good order. If you had contacted us these things would have been taken care of. Very disappointed that you gave us such a poor review without the opportunity to correct your issues. These could have easily been resolved. We have only had compliments on the cleanliness of the unit and only our Snowbirds were in the unit between our stay and yours with no reports of any issues.

Gulf shores

The place looks just like the pictures. It was the best value we could find during peak season to visit Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan. The condo has a great balcony with beach views, and the property has all kinds of stuff to do. However—The bed in the bedroom Definitely sinks in towards the middle. I saw this on a previous review and it is definitely true-and while I’m not overall that picky about places, and I try to find the best value on my vacation-I would not come back to this place until they replaced the mattress in the bedroom. It is probably an issue with not flipping/ rotating the mattress in its first months of use. And the comforter and pillowcases in the bedroom need replaced as well. But those would be an easy fix for the owner as well.

Sorry the mattress did not meet your expectations. We actually replaced the mattress on 12/5/17 so it is not even two years old. We will look into it as this should not happen with a mattress this new.

Family Trip for the Week

The booking, communication prior to check-in, and check-in was easy and very good. The location is a good 20 minutes from town so make sure to plan ahead for the week if you are wanting to eat out or need groceries etc. The property was somewhat outdated. While I loved the outdoor lighting of the property, there were no curtains only blinds in the bedroom and it was hard to sleep with light coming in regardless of time of day. There are only one set of elevators for the property and they were always very busy and one was down for at least a day during our stay. The furniture was very cheap (wobbly legs on tables and chairs), bathroom needed cleaned and maintained better and again the condo was outdated. The beach was nice and the teenagers enjoyed the pools. The front part of the property with tennis courts etc. was not kept up and therefore not used at all-seemed like a lot of wasted space. Tried emailing the property owner a couple days before check out about a question on check-out and still have not heard from anyone. We enjoyed our visit, but probably would stay somewhere closer to town and a little more up to date and maintained on our next trip.

Hi Deana, We are approximately 20 minutes from the main area of Gulf Shores which we feel is a plus as we are away from the crowded beaches. However there are 6 restaurants on our entry road in addition to the restaurant on site. The mini-blinds probably needed to be turned the opposite direction and then they would have kept more light out. Any cleaning dissatisfaction would have gladly been taken care of if you had contacted us. The front amenities are currently closed as they are within the construction area of Building 4 which was destroyed during hurricane Sally last year. We are looking forward to their reopening possibly before the end of the year. I never received any email from you after your check-in. I checked this site as well as my personal email. I answer all emails right away and we do provide 3 different telephone numbers as well for contact. I am sorry you were not satisfied with your stay.

Perfect spot!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The size was great for my family (myself, husband, 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter). We didn’t spend a ton of time in the condo so it was perfect for what we needed. The amenities are great and the property feels very private yet close to everything we wanted to do. We highly enjoyed our visit and will book again.

Perfect family vacay

Pros... too many to list. Great location for resort and condo at the resort, felt very safe, everyone was there to have a good time with their family. Elevators always available. Short drive to gulf shores. Owners respond fast. We stayed a week and wanted to stay longer. Con: only one tennis court open...others and the basketball court is cloaed.

Enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Ft. Morgan. The condo was small but nice. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The pull out sleeper sofa, not so much. It was nice being so close to Ft. Morgan and we enjoyed riding the Ferry and spending the day on Dauphin Island.
