Escape the crowds and enjoy sunny skies, sugar-white sand beaches and security at the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort, a beautifully landscaped family destination directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the middle of a 21-mile peninsula.

Relax in our comfortable Non-Smoking 2 bedroom/2 bath condo that sleeps 6 with King bed in the master bedroom and twins in the second bedroom, plus a Queen Sleeper sofa in the living area. The large balcony has a spectacular view overlooking the beach, pools, hot tub, tennis courts, putting green, boardwalk and other resort amenities. Our fourth-floor condo has 43”, 32" and 26" flat screen HDTVs/DVDs in the living room and bedrooms.

Gulf Shores Plantation Resort has 24-hour security and unlimited free wireless Internet access. Our condo amenities include one new heated, salt water indoor pool and six outdoor pools with indoor and outdoor hot tubs, saunas, lighted tennis courts, basketball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, exercise room, and a putting green with sports equipment available at the security gate. Have a BBQ with the family at the outdoor charcoal grills. Read a book from the honor library or use the coin operated laundry facility, both located on the ground floor of your building.

Kiva Dunes golf course, the number one rated course In Alabama, is adjacent to the resort and there are ten other nearby golf courses.

Gulf Shores was named one of USA Today's “Five Hidden, Affordable Beach Destinations”.
Gulf Shores Plantation Resort was listed as “Where to Stay” with an abundance of local recreational amenities including Alabama's historic Fort Morgan, Tanger Outlet Center, water park, zoo, miniature golf, go-carts, and the Dauphin Island ferry. HGTV's Battle On The Bleach 2021 series was filmed just a couple of miles east of our location.

The Royal Gulf Beach & Racquet Club Resort (Plantation Dunes building) requires the purchase of a $40 registration certificate prior to arrival for each vehicle parked overnight during your stay. This certificate is good for your entire stay. Details on how to purchase a certificate will be provided.

Very nice and beautiful views. Wish we would have known about the one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towel rule before hand but it all worked out.

Good location

The location was great and provided great views of the beach. We were able to walk on the beach every morning and spend time in the room when it got too hot. The beds were the most comfortable beds! The bathroom near the twin bed room had a loud noise anytime we would flush and it was hard to lock the balcony doors. The neighbors on the wall behind the master bed kept closing doors and it was very loud. Im not sure if the kitchen is right there but thats what it sounded like. But overall it was a good property for us to stay during the baseball tournment.

Girls trip

Our friend group of moms enjoyed a great long weekend away from responsibilities of everyday life. The kitchen, while small, was well equipped & beds were comfy. We had a great time with beautiful views.

View lived up to the hype

The property was wonderful. It accommodated our family of four nicely. We all had plenty of space when we needed to come back and get a break from the sun. It had everything that we needed for our week long stay. Our hosts were excellent to work with. They provided great communication and instructions for our stay. The view from the balcony did not disappoint or ever get old. Our stay was fantastic!!

Nice family unit

Family of three came down for a few days and we had a great time, ages 33/33/10. Ft Morgan was new for us, we usually stay in orange beach, Pensacola, or Panama City beach. There was 1/4 of the traffic and crowds here, and everyone was incredibly friendly. It felt like going home for the summer. The unit was very, very clean and everything was in great condition. The AC kept us chilly at 70 degrees and most condo units can hardly keep you comfortable at 73! It is not the most spacious unit for the living room, but it is cozy and the short wait for elevators makes up for it. (IYKYK about the 10 minute waits for elevators at bigger condos). We paid for beach chairs and they were in good spots and the attendants checked on us every hour. They moved one of the umbrellas from the chairs to cover my daughter while she built a sandcastle in front of us and it was precious. Overall, it was quiet, laid back, well kept and we would come back.

Our Beach Getaway

The condo was nice and was stocked well with kitchen supplies and bath towels. The king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony, watching the waves, sunsets and the pool activity.

Lovely little get away!

My family of five stayed at this property for a few days right after New Years (one teen on the couch). Arrival and check-in was easy, and the owners even accommodated our request for an early check-in, which was an appreciated bonus. Everything is just as pictured and described, including the beautiful view from the balcony. We used the pickleball courts, indoor pool, multiple hot tubs indoors and out, and fitness room, and everything was clean and in good order everywhere. There is a Walmart about 20 minutes away (we stopped on our way to the property, as you have to pass right by it anyway), and there is a Dollar General pretty much right outside the gate where we grabbed a couple of things we forgot. The only thing we thought could be better, and it's a small thing, is that there are no overhead lights in the bedrooms, just lamps, and it wasn't very bright, especially in the room with the two twin beds and one lamp.

Tennis trip

I played in a state tennis tournament, and we decided to make a family trip out of it. This condo was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved all the different swimming options. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. I loved the layout with common space in the middle and a bedroom/ bathroom on each side. We got good food to-go from the 'Sassy Bass' restaurant that was right there on the property, and the view of the sunsets from the boardwalk was breathtaking. Would definitely stay again!

Great location with beautiful views

We had a great time staying here, very relaxing and family friendly. We had an excellent view of the beach and pool area from our balcony. The overall location is great and we enjoyed the quietness of the property. Definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a great place for a family getaway.

Our Happy Place

We have been visiting this resort for the last 4 years, and this condo was one of my favorites. It's a 2 bed, 2 bath, nice stocked kitchen (even tupperware!), with a balcony that looks out at the sunset. We mostly stay in and cook so we can fully enjoy the beach and pool for the kids and it was so nice having pots and pans and tupperware to store the leftovers for the next day. The beds were super comfy (firm enough for my husband and his bad back, but has a "cloud" layer that you sink into a bit), and there were extra pillows and blankets and fans in the closets. The resort itself has been refurbed (buildings, pools, the new ice cream shop at the entrance) and having Sassy Bass right downstairs made it perfect for us on the night we didn't want to cook. Molly was amazing at answering any questions we had and we are so thankful we were able to enjoy our favorite place again.
