The home is actually a historic property that was originally a general store, and we’ve intentionally preserved certain original elements to honor that history. There’s a full binder in the house that shares the story of the building and its roots in the community. While the home has been completely remodeled down to the studs with updated systems and finishes, we chose to restore and keep special features like the original shiplap in the former general store area and portions of the refinished wood flooring to maintain its character and charm. Our goal was to thoughtfully blend modern comfort with the unique character of the space. We’re grateful you chose to stay with us and appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.

Hello Tarl, thank you for your feedback. You had proven to be a very difficult guest from the moment you checked in. Swearing and yelling at us because you did not follow our check in process and were frustrated. This property is not on a highway. This is a town of 4,000 people with a top speed limit of 25 mph. It is on the corner of two intersecting roads both with a speed limit of 25 mph. The dock is perfectly fine. We inspected it and it is in perfect condition. The safety parameters for small children is up to the parents. We lived in this house with our two little kids while we remodeled it and consider it safe, we have many large families that book and stay at our house throughout the year never mentioning this issue before but I am not here to say what is and isn't safe for someone else's kids. All I can say is that this house is on a single floor, we have a large game room built for families, we provide kids toys/ books and pack and plays and high chairs all to accomodate infants, toddlers and kids at the property.
