This cute, fully furnished family friendly waterfront cottage offers everything your family will need for a fun filled, relaxing family vacation. Sleep 8 in this cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, full kitchen cottage with a wraparound porch. A gas grill, outdoor fire pit, and water access are available for your family to enjoy. Or launch your boat at nearby County Park II, located 2 miles to the North on County Highway Y. They offer modern multi-dock launches and a playground. Our family cottage is also cleaned and sanitized according to State recommendations between each guest.
You and your family will be able to take advantage of all the pleasures of staying on the waterfront in Wisconsin. Start your day with a peaceful sunrise, watching majestic waterfowl, or take the boat out for some morning fishing. Take an afternoon excursion to one of Oconto County’s hike-in waterfall or take the short trip north to visit the DeYoung Family Zoo, or the Peshtigo Fire Museum. On the way stop in at Forgotten Fire Winery for a little wine tasting. Or create your own excursions by hunting, fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking or boating in one of the nearby State or County forests.
This waterfront cottage is located 30 miles North of Green Bay where you can visit the legendary Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. While you are in town, visit one of the many micro-breweries or a local winery. For family fun stop at the municipal owned Bay Beach Amusement Park, or the Green Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
This 2-bedroom cottage is full of amenities. They include a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and 2 dressers. The second bedroom offers a full-size bed, twin bunk beds and 2 dressers.
The living room offers Wi-Fi, a 40” TV with a DVD blue-ray player, a sofa sleeper and a reclining loveseat. Five spacious individual lockers are available that provide storage for your luggage, shoes, and personal items.
The fully stocked kitchen offers a stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, electric skillet, Crock-Pot and waffle maker. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide any condiments due to State regulation. However, you will find dishes and place setting for 8, with all the cooking utensils and cookware needed to prepare a meal.
From games to sewing kits you will find everything you need to enjoy our “Home Away”.

Beautiful place. Right on the Bay of GB and only a few minutes outside of Oconto. Property is well maintained and managed. This is legitimately someone’s up north home they are letting you stay at. All the amenities of home but way quieter and did I mention right on the Bay. We stayed to ice fish, but I could see staying for purpose.

The cabin was clean. WiFi worked well. The kitchen had everything we needed and a few things we didn’t expect but were nice to have like containers for leftovers, baggies, paper plates and more. The best part was the backyard that overlooks the lake. With flowers in bloom it was beautiful! The perfect place to relax. We didn’t use the boat but did note they had life vests available. It was a very nice stay. It’s quiet. The bedrooms are comfortable. Nice getaway.

There’s a reason this property has 5 stars!

We stayed for 5 nights and it was like going to a home away from home. They have everything you need to be comfortable and plenty of fun things to do! We canoed, played croquet, and had a few camp fires we cooked s’mores on. It was beautiful.

The cottage was beautiful and was well supplied. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed being on the water. We were fortunate to have favorable weather for fishing every day of our stay. There was ample room to turn our boat around to make an easy departure in the mornings. We had a most enjoyable week.

Beautiful location and cottage was very clean and organized.

A total of 7 of us stayed at this beautiful cottage while we were enjoying long days at the NFL Draft. The cottage exceeded our expectations. The property is very clean and organized, also exactly as described by the owners. Also, the Owners were very responsive and helpful with our needs with getting to and from the draft. The cottage was a wonderful place to rest and relax with a beautiful view of the bay. Extra treat, for bird lovers, was the variety of species in the area. We loved this place and would highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay. .

Solitude, Comfort, Relaxation, Natural Beauty

The property was as described, and the amenities were more than one could ever ask for. It is an excellent location for families and couples alike. The property offered a cozy atmosphere and ample room. The views of the lake were relaxing and calming, evoking the tranquility we were looking for. We sought the proximity to Lambeau Field, county and state parks, and Door County, which was just a couple of hours away. Wood Ducks Window was perfect for our needs! Communication with the owner was frequent, timely, and outstanding before, during, and after our stay. A new mind-blowing sunrise started our days every morning, and a star-filled sky ended our nights. My husband needed Wi-Fi for an online course he teaches, and the Wi-Fi was outstanding! We will remember our stay here for a very long time.

Fishing trip

Visited the Oconto area to do some kayak fishing. The house is very well maintained and very clean. Extremely well stocked, organized and comfortable. The views of the bay are phenomenal.

This property was as advertised. Nice location for a fishing/hunting group with room to park a boat. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. There was an issue beyond the owner’s control and they took care of us.

An awesome escape!

We drove in from Colorado and had a wonderful time! The property was beautiful and was perfect for our family of 6. It functioned perfectly. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. The lake and dock were fun!

Fisherman paradise

This property being right on the water was awesome for a great view in the morning and evening. Parking was great for 4 trucks and boats and good power hook up for charging batteries. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a home away from home

Very home like feeling. Had everything needed in the kitchen, parking was good for boats, movie choices, great outdoor fireplaces. Its located between two very nice boat launch spots. There was enough space for adults and teens to move around. Host had open communication. The house felt like home and not a model home. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Beautiful location on the bay with lovely gardens and plenty for a family to do. My children loved the playground, yard games, legos, and books provided. The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry were well stocked. We drove to multiple beaches within twenty minutes, visited Bay Beach Amusement Park, the National Train Museum, and a family zoo. Kids want to know when we can come back. The owners are very responsive and take pride in their rental.

Vacation 2023

We haven't been doing this type of vacation very long, this is the 3rd cottage in which we've stayed so we have limited comparison experience, but this one was very nice. A modern, well-equipped place with every convenience. The location was peaceful, always a breeze, didn't need air conditioning on at all. The washer/dryer was great! Outdoor shower was refreshing. My daughter loved the propane grill. Water is shallow for swimming, had to go out a ways for that, but it was great for snorkeling. Lots of birdlife, gardens, play area. Relaxing time. An enjoyable stay.

Great place on the water

The house is very clean and comfortable. Nice big lawn, quiet neighbors, feels pretty private even with the shared driveway. Great view. Nice patio. Clean and well stocked. Nice beds. Myself and wife and 4 kids stayed for a week when i was working in town. We cooked and hung out and enjoyed the canoe and swim raft. I would recommend it for sure. The power went out and the host checked in on us. Great experience!

Getaway

This was our first experience with a Vrbo and we are so happy we picked this cabin. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. There were several things to do as far as yard games, fishing or hanging out. The cabin was very clean and had anything and everything you needed. The yard was spacious and a beautiful view of a sunrise. We felt right at home, and we will definitely be booking again.
