Renters beware

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was not a very comfortable stay. ALL FURNITURE needs to be updated. Master shower we could not use to very low water pressure. Thank goodness the second shower was doable. The entire complex needs an exterior overhaul. The unit was not filthy as far as housekeeping goes I suppose they are doing all they can with such an outdated unit. Spare bedroom has ac unit right at window which if you are a light sleeper, good luck! Also the ac unit is right at the entrance of unit and if you have any handicap issues you should not rent this unit. I will say if none of this bothers you, you could make it work. Owner should reduce the nightly stay unless issues are addressed. Personally I just wouldn’t rent in future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay. The property could use some updating. The furniture and appliances could use some upgrading. Also was not crazy about the screened in porch. It blocked the breeze and took away from the ocean view. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and are pleased to inform you that the owner has replaced the bedding, added select new pieces of décor throughout, and removed the screen around the porch. Likewise, the owner plans to install new LVT flooring in the unit this fall. We hope to see you again next year.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this condo when we arrive was not to clean. In one of the room just near the bed it was dirty, stean and change money was on the floor. This condo is very old and need renovation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very dated and could use some simple upgrades. Two of the three tv’s did not work, but Garden City Realty was quick to respond. The coffee pot was as old as the unit. I would recommend a K-cup machine and new coffee pot. The bath also had a difficult time draining water, but that is to be expected in an older unit. The bedding could also use an upgrade or a good cleaning. We didn’t use the comforters because they did not seem to be clean. We covered all furniture with sheets because the couch and chairs were also older and looked to be very used. The unit was quiet and met our needs for a beach get away, but the owners could do a few minor upgrades that would make a big difference.

Some updated furniture in the living room would make the stay more comfortable but is definitely not a deal breaker. We look forward to our stay again next year.

Not assessible tub or shower forhandicapped . SEVERAL wall outlets burn out no lighting. Only two trash can? Cushions on chairs sofa old worn out. ELEVATOR SOUNDS LIKE NEEDS MAINTENANCE? SCREEN ON PORCH DOOR TORN LOOSE AT BOTTOM? FURNISHED TWO SMALL TRASH BAGS FOR CUSTOMERS PAID STAYING 8 DAYS.

Location Location Location!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was comfy and in a great location. We were there for the week of July 4th, and there were very well executed professional looking fireworks for over an hour - thanks to other vacationers and the actually scheduled ones at both piers. We had a lot of fun!The unit needed some coasters, so we bought some and left them for the next guests. There was also no dish detergent for the kitchen sink (although there were a couple dishwasher tabs). Other than that, the kitchen was full service for cooking meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, although the bathrooms could've been a little cleaner.Other than that, 107 Sea Oaks was a great place to stay!
