My house is in Gauley River National Recreational area. And only Approximately 3 miles from Summersville Lake and the famous Gauley River whitewater rafting. Rock climbing, hiking trails, swimming only minutes away. Also Fayetteville is only 15 minutes away. And the New River Gorge Area. The United States newest National Park. Lots of hiking and endless adventures. Gorgeous sunset from the fire pit right in front of my house. Also enjoy the sunset view while soaking in the Hot Tub.

This was a great house. We enjoyed the hot tub and campfires at night. Super clean. Not too far from our white water rafting and other activities.

Great place to stay!

Cabin was very clean, cozy, wonderful and had great views. Will definitely recommend to friends that want to stay in the area.

Perfect Cabin

We absolutely loved the location of the Cabin it was in between all the areas we wanted to visit and close to everything! Making up with deer in the yard was amazing! The hot tub at sunset was our favorite! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great home that was clean and beautiful. This place was exactly what we wanted for our getaway…serene location with great sunsets and an amazing hot tub to relax in. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day.

Great Visit

We had the best time at this cabin! So close to the lake, yet a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed the grill and making s'more's around the fire pit. Watching the deer in the morning with my coffee was so peaceful. My only complaint was the linens. Towels seemed to be a worn out and I wish there was more. However they did the job so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay at thia location again. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Great Couples Getaway

This house is very comfortable and plenty big enough for 6 adults. We enjoyed the hot tub and billiards table. We cooked our meals in the well appointed kitchen and ate them together around the very sturdy 6 person table. The living room furniture is very cozy for watching the big TV. The location is ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities within a few minutes drive. We had a great weekend and highly recommend this house. The owner is also very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful, relaxing stay near New River Gorge

Our family loved this property! The sunsets on the deck were very peaceful, the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking and the cabin is very comfortable. It was clean and spacious for me, my husband and daughter. Enough room for another couple or larger family. There is plenty of space outside, we spent time playing cornhole our in the yard. Also enjoyed playing pool. It’s also not far from Summerville lake and New River Gorge. I would stay here again!

Comfy Cabin!

Nathan's cabin had just the right amount of amenities. I stayed there with my husband and 2 boys who had lots of room to run around and explore outside. When the weather wasn't great for outdoors we were comfy inside playing games, pool or sitting in the hot tub. Nathan thought of every detail to keep his guests comfortable. We also enjoyed his great hiking recommendations...and the coffee shop! Thank you Nathan!

Quick adventure getaway

House was beautiful; clean and perfect amenities. Though it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere...was a short 5 min drive to main roads. Perfect location for both the lake, river adventures. Of course the kids loved the pool table/hot tub. Unfortunately we had both nights with rain/storms so unable to have a fire. Nathan was very prompt with responses and gave great recommendations for all areas we were asking about (food, activities where to go). Highly recommended!

Short get away

All was good. At the time (8/2023) you do not need coffee filters! I was a little confused at first because it says there are threes beds and the pics show a bed in the loft (hallway) but there is no bed in the loft (hallway) other than the loft bedroom. I didn’t realize there was a second bedroom on the main level. The sitting area with the fireplace and numerous (unusable) grills is nice, but not for everyone. I feel it’s just too far and out of the way from the house. Hot tub was nice on the porch. Very convenient. Kitchen is well stocked. Nice that some stuff left behind by others (spices, coffee, filters) was available if needed. Thanks for the extra directions in the email. They are VERY much needed because coming in this road it is a hidden gem! Overall 5 stars! Very nice place.

Beautiful inside and out

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great views on the large property. Plenty of space for the 3 of us to have our own bedroom. Perfect location for our needs. Hope to return!

Great location

Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Great location near Summersville Lake. Easy to tow and park a trailer on the property. Nice big space to turn around. View of the stars at night was amazing. Will likely book again next year.

Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay here! Very private location, yet close to the main road. We even spotted deer and turkeys wandering through the yard. The cabin was clean and spacious for our family of 5. We brought an air mattress for one of our kids and it easily fit in the upstairs bedroom. We really enjoyed the pool table in the evenings and the huge hot tub felt great after longs days of hiking. It was the perfect place to spend our spring break.
