Old Forge family vacation

The home is nicely built and decorated. The 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The main purpose of our trip was spending a day at Enchanted Forest and Water Safari and this home was perfectly located just 1.5 miles away. You can also tell the well maintained and taken care of. We would definitely rent it again.

Adirondack Golf Trip

Always love our stay in The Adirondaks. Great weather all week, leaves are changing fast. 7 players, played 5 different couses. Beautiful.

Great Family Vacation!

If you are looking for a place to hold a family vacation or reunion, this is the place! It is conveniently located to all the amenities in the area, including downtown Old Forge, New York, and safari for the children. We had a family of seven, five adults and two children. However, the house sleeps much more than that, at least 10. The house was very clean, the owners were very responsive to any questions we had during the course of our stay. There is some confusion about the parking, which probably should be clarified either in a notebook or in the written online checking instructions process. What a fun evening we had doing s’mores around the campfire! The deer came right up close. I would look forward to coming here again for a family vacation.

Beautiful home and area

We are so happy with our stay! It was my husband, our grown kids and their partners, my dad and step mom. It was a large beautiful clean house for our family with plenty of room! Nice fire pit area with deer and ducks that would come visit:) Great neighborhood and property manager on site in back was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this property!.

Family vacation

Our stay at the home was absolutely wonderful. It was close to the town and all our planned trips. The home itself was beautifully cleaned and comfortable. Lots of space for our party of 7. Communication with the host and property keeper was tremendous. We thoroughly enjoyed being here for our 3 night stay! Thank you!!

Great stay

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood about a bike ride away from the town of Old Forge. It is nicely renovated and clean with everything you would need. The neighbor was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again! Thank you for a lovely visit!

Perfect family weekend!

The house was clean and comfortable for our two families. The house had everything we needed and the host was very responsive. The house is close to everything in Old Forge. There were deer in the backyard, which was pretty cool!

Property was extremely clean and well maintained. Neighborhood was nice and was great for walking or bikeriding. The property owner did not include all of the amenities in the property description and we ended up having to spend money that would not have been necessary had all of the amenities been listed.

Beautiful place, great location, better communication is needed for future guests, overall very good

My family (8 adults, many kids) stayed for half a week to visit Water Safari. Location is great, home is huge, beautifully maintained, tons of space! We would love to stay again. There was confusion as to what fire pit to use (backyard or side yard) and the neighbor was not happy there were kids playing in his yard, but the property lines are not clear and definitely confusing if not explicitly explained. The driveway is shared with that neighbor and it wasn't apparent. The property owner answered my questions very quickly online, but we had to ask many many questions back and forth (wifi, check-in process, coffee maker or keurig, garbage situation, are linens provided, etc) so it would be helpful if those items were updated on the website or provided inside the house i.e. a list on the fridge or something. Again, beautiful home, lots of space, but things could have been a bit smoother with more information provided upfront. 10/10 would stay again!

Family Vacation

Excellent property and excellent host communication. Everything we needed for a family vacation for 9 people. Great location on the river, even provided two kayaks that weren’t listed! Would definitely come back.

Clean, redone home

My family and I recently stayed at this property. The host quickly responded to all my questions before arriving. Day of arriving I had a couple questions and again, response was quick from her. The house has been completely redone. It was super clean and spacious. I loved the limited carpenting in the house (carpets are hard to keep clean with so many different people renting). We were able to drive our snowmobiles right off the property and down the road to catch the trail, which was super nice. We found some nearby hiking trails and restaurants right in town. If I had to say anything negative while being honest, I would just say that the washer and dryer took forever and clothes seemed extra wet when done in washer. Maybe if I put in a smaller load or used the quick cycle it would of went better. I used the normal cycle and put a regular size load in that I would at home. This issue would not keep us from renting this property again though. I would highly recommend this house!
