Welcome to your South Mountain sanctuary. A private, single-level home at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac in the foothills, with the mountain as your backdrop. Quiet, peaceful, and the breeze is always going.

Four rooms. Three bedrooms with queen beds, including a super spacious master suite. The room our guests talk about most. It has an en suite bath all its own. The fourth room is your private home gym with a rack, bench, weights, and bands. Two full bathrooms throughout.

The kitchen is cook-ready. Air fryer, rice cooker, toaster oven, quality pots and pans. Plastic Tupperware for the little kids. Fancy glassware when you want to host a proper dinner. Out back, a barbecue with all the tools and a table where everyone can sit together.

The backyard has a sparkling pool, outdoor fireplace, covered patio with plush seating, and mountain views in every direction. Swim, sunbathe, stargaze. Want the pool heated? It's $60 for the first night and $35 for each night after. Just let us know 24 hours before you arrive.

Inside, large windows and natural light everywhere. There's a proper office setup with an ergonomic table and chair and a 34-inch TV. The living room 70-inch smart TV has every streaming app. Log in, log out when you leave. 500+ Mbps wifi. Washer and dryer, garage access. Quality linens, beach towels, high-end toiletries, bottled water and snacks waiting for you.

We love dogs and we consider them our family too. Two are welcome, under 50 pounds each, $75 per pet for your stay. The trailhead is less than four minutes on foot. South Mountain Preserve is minutes away. Downtown Phoenix and the airport are just 15 minutes. Contactless check-in, and we reply within the hour.

A note on pricing, because we believe in being honest with you. The $272 cleaning fee goes to our cleaning team and everyone supporting behind the scenes to keep this home spotless. It is one flat fee for your whole stay, never per night. On a 7 night stay it works out to $39 a night. On 14 nights, just $19 a night.

We had a wonderful stay! Carolina was incredibly responsive and made the entire process seamless from start to finish. The check-in instructions were thorough, clear, and easy to follow, which made arrival stress free.The property is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. One of the things we appreciated most was how dog friendly it was, making it easy for our Great Dane to enjoy his stay as well!Overall, this was an excellent experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 10/10 highly recommend!

The property was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio as well as relaxing inside with the fireplace.Carolina provided us with several suggestions for restaurants and hikes in the area, which were very helpful.We hope to stay here again. Our son and family live close by and we really like the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix.

Beautiful location and wonderful host.

This was our third year staying at this property. We find it to be a perfect place for a gettaway from the midwest. It is very peaceful and quiet. Carolina is a very respectful and responsive host.

Foothills near Chandler

We really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time in the area and we found it very relaxing. The backyard was the highlight of the property. The host was very, very friendly and reponsive before and during our stay.

Great Getaway

Carolina is the perfect hostess. The neighborhood is so peaceful and friendly. We love the foothills. This home is wonderful and the backyard, pool and view are so relaxing.

Great Stay

We had an amazing stay in Arizona. This property was just as described. The privacy of the backyard was so nice! Felt like our own private resort. Carolina was more than helpful and super communicative with us. Even checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Phoenix area!

Long weekend in Phoenix

The house is located in an upscale, quiet neighborhood. Trails were so close & nice for a morning hike in the foothills. The pool was lovely and the grill in good condition for a bbq. The host was very responsive, providing good suggestions for things to do in the area. We will rent again when visiting our family in Phoenix. Thank you!!

Comfortable and quiet

This is a well equipped home, with a comfortable floor plan and adequate amenities. Remarkably quiet for being not so far from the highway. A 3 ring binder with general instructions for how the house works, and for check out procedures would be helpful.

Great house and even better service

We liked the location, the house, the decor and the kitchen was unusually well supplied with cooking stuff. Having the property back on to the desert hillside was a big bonus: it really felt like our own private getaway! Special shout out to Carolina L. She did a perfect job in dealing with the usual small things that came up, and made sure our stay was as perfect as possible. We would stay here again, and recommend it highly.

Amazing backyard

We stayed 2 nights and very happy with our experience. We requested to have the pool heated and it was nice to get in right when we arrived. Just a bummer that it rained the entire next day. Overall very comfortable sofa and beds and everything you need even if you stay inside the entire time. Groceries right down the street and we ordered in from Thai Delight the first night. Best Thai we’ve had in a long time.

Great location and pool

We stayed here to meet other family in ahwatukee for our parents’ celebration of life. This was a very comfortable home and hanging out by the pool watching the birds in the desert was really nice. It would be great to have had all the home instructions and check out procedure in a binder/folder in the home rather than just emails. But, tons of great info re: hikes, restaurants, etc in Carolina’s emails.

Quiet home with Mountain View!

Our family stayed here during our home’s kitchen remodel. The host, Carolina, is quick to communicate and provided everything we needed. We even asked for something extra, and she brought it over within a short time. The house is clean, welcoming and has a backyard with a hammock, pool, full table and spots to relax in the sun or shade. The house backs up to a mountain, and the view combined with privacy is exceptional. We even asked to extend our stay during our stay, and the host helped us to do so. We stay at a lot of rentals, and we very much enjoyed our time here. The house is near the end of a cul de sac, which is great for a quiet, relaxing experience. Great location with a very friendly host! Also- pet friendly which is rare to find in the area. Definitely recommend!

This property is old and tired. Weeds all over front yard and pool area. Pool lights did not work, waterfall into pool did not work. Furniture old, worn,& uncomfortable. Living room rug soiled with stains. Master shower is old and uncomfortable. Kitchen oven and barbecue were dirty upon arrival. Had to call host for electrician to fix porch lights. Property needs serous updates and repairs to make enjoyable.

Bob, thank you so much for the feedback, the waterfall works properly without issues, we request our guest to let us know if they want to turn it on. The Master shower is freshly new and changed as of this year as you can see the fixture and can be removed to shower however a guest would like. We appreciate your recommendations and the landscaper come in this week. Hope you had a lovely stay!

The host didn't seem concerned or care very much for the many problems and broken / non working appliances, furniture, light fixtures and the filthy conditions of floors upon arriving - I had to wash them as they turned my socks black, the couch was ripped, the coffee table my son had to fix by tightening bolts as it was ready collapse. The grill was a disgusting filthy mess and the insides so rusted that the grates are caving in. The cushions on the lounge chairs are in shredded. the lights over the pool do not work unless you physically plug an unplug them in. Supposed to be on a timer but That didn't work. The hot water heater broke so that was replaced then the water refill for the refridgerator broke that was addressed. We stayed at the place 2 years ago and it was lovely. Now it is a complete mess. I have pictures.

We take maintenance concerns seriously and responded as quickly as possible to the issues brought to our attention during your stay. When the water heater unexpectedly failed, we arranged for its replacement within approximately five hours, and we also addressed the refrigerator water issue and provided additional supplies during your stay. Since then, we have continued to inspect, repair, and refresh the home to ensure it meets our standards for future guests. We are proud that the overwhelming majority of our guests have had very positive experiences, and we remain committed to being responsive whenever an unexpected issue arises

Adorable couple's house

Cute and very clean. Several small but a bit irritating items. We couldn't cool off the house but it was cool outside so just opened the back door. ( Better instructions?) Dishwasher turns on (power) but the pump doesn't work and may have been that way for awhile. Need to replace the remote batteries for the TV, primary bedroom and other ceiling fans. Could only turn them on at high speed. I can see you are updating some things so take a look at paint on the bottom of cabinets and trim where it has been cleaned so well it took the paint off. Lovely new refrigerator. Liked having a garage door opener to use. Had a wonderful week-long stay. Would rent again with another couple possibly. Suzanne

Hi Duncan, Thank you so much for your feedback. We have changed the batteries on the remote controller, we verified that the dishwasher works properly without any issues once your press start. The best thermostat also works properly without issues,I’ll make sure to provide instructions for next guest as this could be due to the technology! Great neighborhood

If I were owner I would replace all the electrical outlet and switched those are very outdated (from 70's or 80's), change lightning to LEDs - light bulbs and fixtures. Also there are only 2 very old smoke detector in the whole house - none in bedrooms, nor are they any CO detectors in rooms either. The lighting over the pool is kinda scary it goes on and off 5 min on then off then and off and its right over a pool - water and electricity doesn't go together. The pool was heated but was some issues because off restricted electric use at nite - the times to heat pool should be re-set so pool is not set to heat when its not allowed to heat. In master bedroom wish there was a King size bed, its only a full or maybe a queen but me and my husband did not fit together in this small bed. The owner was great in communication. We enjoyed our stay and maybe with some needed upgrades we will be back

We had a great first time visit in Phoenix. The location itself was quiet with no rear neighbors for added privacy, though it was a little far from activities and restaurants we wanted to try. Nothing within a short walking distance. The house was nice and clean. It was an older home and could use a bit of TLC as well as extra pillows on each bed, but all in all a great home and comfortable stay. The back yard and pool by far was the best part of this stay. Again could use some updated cushions etc outside, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying it. The host was easy to communicate with and was ready to assist in any way.
