In an effort to maintain a secure premise, Heron`s Haven is equipped with security cameras. These cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside.

The following items are not included in the rental: the boat and jet ski, BBQ smoker, and the indoor fireplace. Please do not tamper with these.
1. Absolutely no pets allowed. If we see or find evidence of a pet at the property after your departure, a minimum $1,000 cleaning fee will be charged to your stay. This rule will be strictly enforced.
2. Absolutely NO smoking or vaping in the house.
3. Excessive noise outside is prohibited.
4. No parties or events without permission. Additional fee will apply.
5. No indoor fires
6. No tampering with outdoor security cameras- a $500 fee will be charged for evidence of tampering.
7. Must be 25 or older to book this property.
8. If guest amount exceed number given on booking information, you may be charged an extra fee or asked to leave the property.
9. Limited propane provided.
10. If something broke or there was known damage to the unit during the time of your stay please report it to host.

Everything you want

This property has everything to make a family trip easy! Description and pictures are very accurate. Owners took the time to think of anything that would make your stay more comfortable, including quality amenities, toiletries and cookware. We would defintely stay here again!

Exceeded our expectations!

From the booking to the stay we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with people of all ages. A very friendly and easy to get a hold of property manager, very clean property that exceeded our expectations inside and outside and we absolutely loved the amenities that came with it! Would love to go back and stay again sometime!

Gem on the lake

We loved our stay at this charming lake house. It was so well decorated and stocked. I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this was by far the best well stocked kitchen ever! I appreciated all the little special thoughtful touches from the host too. We arrived to a vase of flowes, a handwritten note and some amazing coconut tea in the fridge. We were so impressed. They communicated well and promptly. We loved hanging out by the water and had use of a great lily pad and SUP. Beds were comfortable and really everything was cozy, nice and well appointed. We loved it!

Nice place to spend 5 days!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heron Haven celebrating our "30th." The 'Happy Anniversary' banner, chocolates & flowers were a nice surprise. The place was well stocked and clean. We would/will stay again at this property!

Eclipse adventure

The Heron House was incredible. Besides having an amazing lake view the residence itself was very welcoming. Every amenity was available. Very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Loved sitting around the fire in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Hidden Gem

Heron's Haven was perfect for a quick getaway. It had an exceptional view of the lake and plenty of room on the dock and porch to just sit and relax. The house was clean and well-stocked. Just as advertised. No complaints! Made for a lovely vacation.

Lake LBJ best get away

The second I opened the door to the house it smelled absolutely clean and it was spotless!! Not a speck of dust anywhere!! The location was perfect for us to launch our boat to swim and fish. My granddaughter loved the outdoor swing!! Will definitely reserve this beauty again!!

It was wonderful! The house had everything we needed and expected. The view was beautiful and we did get to sit outside in spite of the heat.

Wonderful summer weekend with friends!

We had a wonderful time at this location! The house and yard looked exactly as photographed. The plastic dock left no splinters or burned feet. We were able to fill our ice chests up before departure with the ice machine. Thank you for making our weekend even better! We will rent every summer!

HERON HAVEN ON GRANITE SHOALS/LAKE LBJ

PERFECT VRBO: BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL SETTING, OVERLOOKING THE LAKE AND JUST STEPS AWAY FROM THE WATER. THE GROUNDS ARE GORGEOUS WITH OAK TREES AND SHADE EVERYWHERE. THERE IS A NICE DECK OVER THE WATER AND A SHALLOW AREA FOR CHILDREN OR TO JUST PUT YOUR CHAIRS IN AND COOL WHILE YOU ENJOY THE VIEWS. THE HOUSE HAS BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM THE LARGE PICTURE WINDOWS, A NICE ROOMY, COVERED PORCH/PATIO WITH AN ICE MACHINE, BBQ AND DINING TABLE OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO, ALONG WITH MORE SEATING TO VIEW THE LAKE. THE HOUSE ITSELF HAS THE PERFECT AMMENITIES: THE MAIN LIVING AREA HAS PLENTY OF SEATING, LARGE DINING TABLE AND EVERYTHING IS COMFORTABLE. THE KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND THE BEDS, PILLOWS AND BEDDINGS WERE SO VERY COMFORTABLE. THE BATHROOMS HAVE UP -TO-DATE "EVERYTHING." IT'S NAMED HERON HAVEN AND WE EVEN HAD ONE ON THE DECK THE FIRST MORNING WE WERE THERE. BIRDS SING JOYFULLY AND THERE IS ALWAYS A BREEZE. THE SUN SETS ON THE BACK OF THE HOUSE, SO YOU NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR LATE AFTERNOON HEAT. WE SHALL RETURN AS SOON AS WE CAN. HERON HAVEN IS A GREAT GET-AWAY FOR A FEW NIGHTS OR WEEKS! WE HAD EASY DIRECTIONS, SUGGESTIONS FROM OWNERS FOR EVERYTHING FROM HOUSE NEEDS TO RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING NEARBY. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT RESPIT!

Easter family weekend 2022

My husband and I have our boat out at lake LBJ so go on many day trips (from San Antonio) and several VRBO weekend/ week stays. This home was PERFECT! This is a must stay and I highly recommend it! It is a beautiful home and a perfect location. It is nicely decorated, landscaping, super clean and has everything you need! We took a bin of must haves since we were going to cook a lot. We didn’t take anything out from our bin. This home is fully stocked. I loved how there was an empty cabinet for our stuff and fridge was completely cleaned out so we had plenty of room for our items. The patio with rocking chairs, table, outside ice machine and grill were a big hit! The swing was a huge hit for my 17 month old grand daughter. Plenty of parking for your cars, large yard and a great spot for our boat were all a big plus! Oh yea, the water pad was also a big hit for my adult kids, lol! Oh did I mention the lake view? Stunning! So many details in this house to make you feel at home! We love this house so much we have already booked it in June :)

Perfect Family Lake Weekend Getaway!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house! Our family came to get out of Austin for the weekend and have some fun at the lake, and this property was THE PERFECT PLACE for it. The house is very cozy and set up nicely for the kids to have their own room. We only utilized two of the three bedrooms, but the 3rd bedroom would have been a great place to have a family friend join us as it has the king bed plus the set of bunk beds! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you'd need for cooking in, and both the patio and breakfast area provide a gorgeous lake view. (One bonus for us was the icemaker on the patio...such a lovely way to fill the cooler or just refresh your drink without having to go inside!) I enjoyed my coffee and quiet time in the rocking chairs on the patio, and the days ended with beautifully colored sunsets that we watched on the dock. The neighborhood is quiet, family-friendly, and the house is on a lake peninsula which means many great views of the lake on your strolls exploring the neighborhood. We did not need to leave for a single thing once we arrived, however, Marble Falls (with a brand-new HEB) is about a ten minute drive from the lakehouse. This house was exactly one hour from our house in Austin, but we felt like we were several hours from the hustle and bustle of home at this peaceful lake escape! I would highly recommend this house to any families or small groups of friends wanting a lake escape weekend with all of the creature comforts of home!

Lake Life

What a wonderful weekend at Lake LBJ! The house was a perfect fit for our family and we truly enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. Beautiful sunsets!
