Waterfront and PERFECT for a fun, relaxing getaway

Come on out to Lake LBJ! You will feel right at home from the moment you pull into the carport until you have to leave. Our cozy, 2000 sq ft home has 4 sleeping areas (2 BR are KINGs); 2 baths, large living/family area, a HUGE back deck overlooking the yard and open access to the cove. Our covered upper seating area allows for a fully shaded option when you are outside, and the trees overhead keep the rest of the deck mostly shaded during the heat of the day.

The no-wake cove (and our location in particular) allows you to swim right off the backyard without worrying about boat traffic and waves- just bring your noodles/floats/ water toys. Also bring your fishing poles- lots of perch and catfish just a cast away. Want to be on the water, but don't want to get wet? We have a Stand-up paddle board, paddleboat, water mat and kayak available for our amazing guests during your stay (included).

If you are feeling more adventurous, this constant level lake is perfect for recreational boating, and it is just a short ride to the main water where you can ski, tube, or open up & enjoy all that LBJ has to offer. If you don't have a boat, you can rent one locally.

After a day out on the water, there is nothing like relaxing on the deck, enjoying dinner off the grill and a favorite beverage. Need Wifi? We provide it free... but the view and conversations are better if you stay unplugged!

This cozy waterfront retreat is the perfect spot on LBJ. Tucked into Chevy cove the house offers calm water for swimming, paddleboarding or kayaking with the included kayak and paddleboards. The house and kitchen were well stocked with everything you could need for cookinv and planty of board games for after dark. Our favorite spot was the outdoor porch area where we could turn on the Bluetooth outdoor speakers or watch the football game on the outdoor TV. Truly a wonderful place for anyone to stay for an enjoyable lake getaway. The host was highly responsive for any small issues we had (needed to reset the internet after a storm) and informative about local events. Highly recommend this spot on LBJ!

Great house. The best owner I have ever stayed with. So nice and wanted everything to be perfect for our stay. Location is perfect and they have everything you could want or need at this house. Internet is slow but that's being nit picky with how great everything is here.

Great house

We so enjoyed our stay at this house. It was perfect for our family. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of pots and pans and utensils. The barbecue pit had gas and was clean. The AC worked great the deck and dock were great along with all the paddle boards and kayaks and paddle boat. Lots of chairs inside and out. love the kitchen for seating for eating and playing games. Plenty of bedding. The host was easy to contact. We will stay there again.

Quiet and Relaxing

This house is on a nice quiet part of LBJ. No wake zone and away from the weekend boat traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and kept busy with cooking, fishing and exploring the lake. We all had a great time! The stairs into the lake are a big plus and makes getting in and out of the water much easier! I look forward to getting the opportunity to stay here again!

Successful Quick Vacation

House was great. Lots to do there. Shuffleboard, water stuff, games. No luck fishing, but it was after recent flooding. Biggest two complaints are cameras in the back yard felt a little invasive, and lack of fencing for the property. Our dog stayed close, but the dog two doors down kept coming to visit. We were a little worried about the dogs fighting. Overall it was a great trip. We enjoyed it and the area around it. Close location to Marble Falls, and Longhorn Caverns. We would stay again.

Summer fun!

We had a great time and would recommend a stay here to anyone, especially if you have children. A huge plus for the host is all the water toys available for use.

Family Getaway

My family traveled to Cabin at Chevy Cove from 3 different cities. It was a nice getaway for our family including a 6 month old. The house was right on the water so the older kids could entertain themselves and while we took care of the baby. It was a weekend filled with wonderful memories for my family.

Chevy Cove Lake House

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our family. Our kids loved fishing and swimming off the dock. The house was perfectly set back in a cove that had easy access to lake. Hope to come back again.

Great view, Great fun

What a great property. Had friends from Highschool and their kids for a little reunion and it worked out great. Splash pad and water toys were awesome to have access to and kept the kids engaged the whole time. Kitchen had every thing you could possibly need, plenty of towels, great little place. Best part is waking up to the big lake view each morning!

Had a wonderful time with family

We booked this property for its location in Hill Country. We wanted to get out and hike some new state parks and have a location the family could go back to and relax. The house has a beautiful view and access to the lake. It's wonderful to wake up and be looking out the room-sized windows onto the lake and enjoy coffee and breakfast. We didn't use the beautiful deck much as the leaves and tree droppings covered it with dirt and dust regularly. Fortunately, the owners left the leaf blower out so when we wanted to be out there we could blow things off. The owners are incredibly nice and responsive to every question we had and checked in on us. Only the WiFi went out with a severe storm and lightning strike. The owner followed up immediately to try to remediate. It's a wonderful location for a family to visit, especially water lovers. The house is beautifully stocked to cook and enjoy meals at the house. There are beds galore if needed. The only thing that seemed missing is somewhere to put/hang up clothes if staying more than a few days. The lake looks beautiful and fun but we were hikers and enjoyed the eclipse while there. It was a fun time!

Fun times at the lake

Property is just as presented in VRBO. It isn't "fancy", but a perfect lake house. Clean, comfortable....Views....great deck and lake front. Loads of seating and table space for family dinners. Nice open kitchen with fantastic big window. We played with the water toys - the toddlers loved the lily pad and the paddle boat with their parents. Thank you for being available to any questions we had.

Staycation summer trip 2023

Fabulous stay

We stayed in the fall, it was not ideal weather for the lake at all but we had so much fun. When it wasn’t raining we went out on the paddle boats and kayak. When it was raining we played any of the numerous games that could be found inside. The inside is very homey and comfortable. There is plenty of space for families. HEB was only a 6 minute drive and if you wanted a bit more variety it was only a 17 minute drive into Marble Falls. We will most definitely be back in the summer.

Nice place

A perfect lake house for friends and family. Plenty of beds and well appointed. Location is close to town, but the turn off of 1431 is not well marked.

Perfect location and wonderful, accommodating host!

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The house and beds were super comfy. There were more toys to play with and fun to be had than we could squeeze into one weekend. The view from the kitchen and shuffle board table were probably the biggest hits followed closely by the paddle boat. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!

Family Vacation

We had a great family time at Chevy Cove. Although it was HOT, the shade trees and water fun kept us cool. We loved the lake toys and used them a lot. Communication with the owners was great, and they even gave us a few extra tips about the lake and the area.

My husband and I have two small boys and enjoy spending time with friends and family out at the lake every chance we get! We are constantly working to update our lakehouse, adding little touches that make it comfortable and welcoming to all of our guests.

We live outside of Austin, and have rented all around Lake LBJ in the past several years. As renters, our favorite area was Chevy Cove, for the calmer water and fantastic location/ proximity to open water boating. As we looked for our own place, we found this sweet home and are looking forward to sharing it with you when we can't be there!

While our lakehouse has its own simple country charm, stepping through the kitchen and into the back room will show you exactly why we fell in love with this location. The views of the water and inviting deck will beg you to stay a few days (or longer) and enjoy our little piece of heaven!
