Welcome to Paradise! Location? This is IT! Our 2 BR/2 BA condo is literally steps from the Caribbean Sea on beautiful, family-friendly, relaxed Bolongo Bay. When we are on-island, this is our home and we are certain that you will enjoy the many 'extras' we make available to you: 300-count organic cotton sheets, air sanitizers, eco-friendly toiletries, plush over-sized beach towels...we want our guests to be as comfortable as we like to be.

The Master Bath has a beautiful, over-sized walk-in shower. The second bathroom provides a tub/shower combo - perfect for a bubble bath! The Master Bedroom is beautifully appointed with a king-sized bed, and features sliders which open up to the glorious Caribbean Sea.

The second bedroom can be arranged as 2 twin beds or one king - you choose. The fully equipped kitchen and tropical Living Area open onto a 30' balcony...perfect for dining al fresco, or cocktails. Three pools, three restaurants, a PADI dive shop, and water sports...enjoy!

Johnny Depp fans seek locales once frequented by the Pirates of the Caribbean. Whatever your imagination conjures up as you consider the Caribbean, be assured that you will find it here, on the multi-faceted island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. Pirates?

The islands' capital, Charlotte Amalie, still has alleyways pirates roamed. Today they are home to exquisite duty-free shops and charming restaurants - but it is easy to envision Capt. Jack Sparrow here.

Margaritaville has been referred to as 'a state of mind'. If a swim-up beach bar, golfing above the sea, or lounging in a hammock while sipping a cold one is your Margaritaville - St. Thomas provides. We invite you to visit our tropical Paradise on Bolongo Bay.


Down by the Bay...
Our 2BR/2BA suite is located at Watergate Villas East on Bolongo Bay. This location affords so many advantages! The bay is beautiful and has a large sandy beach - great for families. In the suite you will find plenty of beach 'toys' suitable for adults and children, guaranteeing fun in the sun and the sea. Sunfish, paddle boats, float mats, kayaks and swim vests can be rented at the bayside Beach Hut.

The onsite PADI dive shop and dive boat allows you to explore the undersea world w/o leaving 'home'. You will be staying steps from the sand, and our onsite Caribbean restaurant, Mim's Seaside Bistro. A short walk along the shore brings you to one of the 'Caribbean's Best Beach Bars' - Iggie's!

Their casual menus, weekly Caribbean Night Celebration (fire eater! glass walker!) and All-You-Can-Eat Crab Nights make them popular with visitors and local families. A bit further is the Lobster Grille, all day service and elegant seaside dining. Bolongo Bay has something for everyone!


Your place in Paradise...
Step in to your non-smoking Paradise and immediately relax! The air is refreshing (UV air sanitizer). Walk through the tropical Living Area, open the slider and step onto your 30' long balcony. To the left? Bolongo Bay Beach and your oceanfront pool, turn right towards the vast Caribbean.

Inside, down the hall is your Master Suite and a beautiful king bed. Open the slider, lie down for a moment and allow the trade winds to caress you. This is Island Life - surrounded by artwork created by local artists, dark wood furnishings with tropical finesse, and a wall of glass with the turquoise sea beyond. Welcome to Paradise!

As your travel companions settle in to the large second bedroom, take a look around your bathroom - thick cotton towels, organic toiletries, your walk-in tile shower. The Guest Bath is equally lovely, the vanity area spacious and bright. The hall closet reveals chairs, coolers, towels and toys. You find your swimsuit and walk to the beach. Unpacking can wait!

Sue, the owner, was incredibly helpful, available and kind during our entire stay. The setting of this villa is to die for! If you like oceanfront, you cant beat this view!

The host provided ample communication and was very quick to respond. Location was great! We were able to walk on the beach or sidewalk to three very good places to eat. We enjoyed the sunrises from our deck with our breakfast. We didnā€™t cook, but found the frig and coolers very useful. We enjoyed the Heavenly Days catamaran turtle tour even on a rainy day. We always found a parking spot at one of the villas even when out for the day. The safe with key was useful.

Enjoyed ourselves for 13 days

Owner very responsive, Beautiful veiw, the complex was nice pretty well maintained. Condo was a little dated as other's have said.but the price was compatible to the property. My Wife and 2 daughters 13 and 14 discussed as a family to rate this property and we give it 3-1/2 stars out of 5 and thats base on comparing similar properties we have stayed at through our 11 years of staying on Island.

Excellent condo in a lovely location

This condo was perfect for our family on our first trip to St. Thomas. It was clean, well stocked, and in a beautiful Bay Area ā€” close walking distance to Iggyā€™s and Mimā€™s (which we enjoyed several times ā€” say hi to Vernita and Joan and Abraham for us, lol! The pool was great, and thereā€™s a small beach area to enjoy if you feel like sticking close to ā€˜home.ā€™ Itā€™s also close to the other gorgeous beaches ā€” we beach hopped to both St. John and Water Island ā€” all ā€˜easyā€™ driving. (Keep in mind that the driving takes a little getting used to, but donā€™t let that keep you from it!)My Mom ā€” who turned 77 ā€” had little trouble walking from the condo down the beach. Thereā€™s a few stairs, but nothing we had problems with. Thereā€™s also a laundry facility on site, if needed.The condo was well stocked with paper products, towels, snorkeling gear, and all sorts of beach chairs. It was also CLEAN. We know how hard that can be in a beach house ā€” the floors seem always gritty with sand, but this one was well kept. Beds comfortable, good air conditioning, no rolling power outages, and the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep. And gorgeous sunrises! Would definitely recommend!

This places was PERFECT and Susan has thought of everything!! Clean, quiet,comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. Fabulous restaurant on site ( Mims). Linda from the office was helpful and kind. The balcony overlooks the ocean and has plenty of seating. I would highly recommend!

Good location, nice view, not a good beach to swim

Condo is in a great location, nice view from the balcony with 3 nice pools and 2 restaurants nearby. The beach is not very swim friendly and that was a little disappointing. The condo itself was rather dirty with lots of small particles on the kitchen counter like things weren't moved when cleaning, and there were dark black hairballs in the corners of the rooms throughout the condo. The sliding glass door to the balcony from the living area was extremely hard to open and close, I don't believe a elderly person would be able to operate it. On the master bedroom door to the balcony the door handle is broken. The property manager Sue was not much help when needed. 2 couples stayed in the condo with one of us having a 9 month old baby so we had 2 rental cars. When we arrived and found only 1 parking pass we messaged Sue asking how to obtain another parking pass and she stated she has never had anyone bring 2 vehicles so it might be a problem. We went down to the office and requested another parking pass and it wasn't a problem ,so the condo now has 2 parking passes in it. I also rented baby equipment and she was not helpful with drop off or pickup. Overall probably wouldn't stay here again due to the beach, sliding glass door, and cleanliness.

Heavenly Slice of Paradise

My family of four stayed at this property for 2 weeks. The location (along the shoreline) is to die for! I loved the views, the abundant tropical breezes, and going to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below. The condo was nicely decorated and well stocked with just about you could need. The ā€œinformation bookā€ on the entertainment center was FULL of useful information about the islands. Communication with the host was first rate. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing STT trip

This was a wonderful VRBO. Having lived on St. Thomas, I had a sense of where to look. Bolongo Bay is relatively quiet and protected, and offers great snorkling. The adjacent resort has a restaurant (Iggy's Oasis) and bar, and live music. Decent food, typical prices. The main restaurant (Iggy's) is being rebuilt in the aftermath of back-to-back hurricanes. They say it will open Summer 2025. But remember: island time.Originally we planned a get away together. Then we invited my older sister (a minister) and my niece to join us. Then my sweetie proposed and I agreed, and it became a wedding trip.We had a delightful time. The condo more than met our needs. Susan, the host, was very good with communication. There is a great deal of information in the binders on the bookshelf, much of which is still valid, but some is out of date. Things change, but not very fast. Remember: Island Time.If you go, explore. Go to Coki Beach, Hull Bay, Brewer Bay, Lindquist/Smith Bay Park. All the way out to the end of the road in the west. Eat from food trucks: try a Pate or chicken/beef/goat stew and a Tamarindo or Soursop drink. Go to Gladys's, the Greenhouse, Sib's on the Mountain... quick lunch? Lake's fried chicken in Smith Bay. Best on the island.I'd definitely stay here again (but I have new places to explore).

Little slice of peaceful paradise

Near the beach, but away from the crowds! We loved our stay in Sueā€™s condo on St. Thomas. The condo was well equipped and very reasonably priced. Itā€™s older, but well maintained. Sue has several binders at the ready in the condo with all the info you need about sifts to see, restaurants, and beaches. Sue made sure we were well taken care of and is very responsive to text messages as needed. Weā€™d love to stay here again.

This property was a great place for our family of four. It was very clean. The views were amazing. Susan has binders of information if you have questions about anything. She even has some items she allows you to borrow for a wonderful beach experience. It is a beautiful community where we felt safe and welcomed. We would definitely stay again!

Winter getaway

We were quite comfortable in this spacious condo. We especially loved how large the balcony was as we enjoy listening to the waves, feeling the breeze, eating our meals , enjoying our morning coffee and evening cocktails! Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. The only thing about the one bedroom is that it is so bright in the room from the lights that are on all the time on the parking lot side of the building. I realize security and safety is essential but maybe room darkening shades would be helpful. Otherwise, it was excellent

Beautiful views

We absolutely loved our stay. We spent a week in St Thomas. The condo was fully stocked with snorkel gear and all the necessities. We had a small issue with the shower water and a second after I text for assistance I immediately received a reply and maintenance was sent to fix the issue in a flash. Communication was excellent and would definitely recommend.

Lovely Time!

My husband, adult child, teen child, and I recently rented this condo in Bolongo Bay and had a wonderful vacation. The house was clean and well-equipped. The view from the balcony was so wonderful. We sat many times there just taking in the beauty of the area. We also watched thunderstorms roll in. There are two restaurants within walking distance and several pools to cool off in after a splendid day at the beach. We did rent a car to explore the island and even ventured by car ferry to St. John. (a must!) Sue was very helpful in making our trip a memorable one! There were also many resources provided beforehand and in the home to help you explore the area, eateries, etc. One tidbit we learned is to put Mim's restaurant (vs. Bolongo Bay Resort) into our gps when returning to the property. It was very accurate and did not rely on landmarks along the way. We recommend this property for smaller family like ours. It was spacious for us and we were able to relax! About us: We come from very different backgrounds...the Connecticut boy who discovered a love of fishing, and the San Diego girl who longed for the warmth of the sun on the sand, a real ocean and definite "Changes in Latitudes"...without the congestion and pollution. After years spent cruising to nearly every Caribbean port, Paradise has become our family's island home (much to our two daughters' delight!). Joe is in charge of the mechanical improvements (the new security-code lock, new entry area, etc.), Sue oversees the interior upgrades, creating an allergen-free environment. Daughters Arden and Olivia remind us that the new beach towels, chairs, and coolers were purchased for a reason; that there are fish awaiting our dog biscuits just outside; and that we need to take advantage of this "One Particular Harbour" as often as possible!

Sue's initial plan was to find a place to purchase on St. John - the beaches are so beautiful! So, she rented a car and drove from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay - on the curviest, narrowest road she had ever driven on - and decided then and there that St. John would be the perfect place for a day trip from her island home on St. Thomas! But, where on St. Thomas? Time for research! She brought her pals Peggy (real estate agent) and Wendy (the voice of reason) to the island, leaving Joe at home. We visited nearly every beach and the surrounding properties - very serious work! The perfect place would have a beach hut, clean sand, a place to get food, a beach bar, a safe place for children to swim, and a welcoming "feel" to it. After much exploration and evaluation we decided that our Home Base for our research - Bolongo Bay - was the best place to be! The Offer to Purchase was signed while wearing bathing suits on the sand...Paradise!

After seeing many vacation properties, this was the one that caused us to pause and say "This is IT!". The non-stop views; the gentle breeze coming into the Living Area, Kitchen, and the Master Bedroom; and the glorious Caribbean right outside - a fantastic location! This particular condo is so beautifully appointed and, at the same time, extremely comfortable...a casual elegance with a tropical vibe. We have added a few touches to create an allergen-free environment so that the molds and mildew that are prevalent in the tropics won't grow here. The 100% cotton bedding (organic, if you wish), plush cotton towels, and large variety of pillows transport you to a level of comfort not often experienced in "rental units"...because this is not a rental property. This is our island home and we welcome you to share it when we are not on-island. Enjoy!
