Nice property and rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the outdoor space. The gas fireplace was nice and kept the chill away.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. We wanted to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and this place is exactly what we needed. The cabin is surrounded by trees and has a laid back charm. It’s conveniently located to multiple hiking trails. I highly recommend staying here.

I love that Roaring Forks Falls is less than 10 from the cabin. It is perfect for an early morning walk to begin your day or a late afternoon walk before settling in. Perhaps you will bring your family back next year when the trees are in full color. Thank you so much for the review!

The house was fantastic. We loved it. The beds were comfortable linens very clean. Kitchen was stocked and easy to use and prepare food. Our host was wonderful and easy to communicate with, and we highly highly recommend this property!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious, one-of-a-kind cabin near the Mount Mitchell trail. Its authentic character made the experience truly special. Both the interior and exterior were fantastic—thoughtfully designed, well maintained, and perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the new outdoor fireplace was an amazing place to unwind in the evening. The complimentary s’mores kits were such a thoughtful touch, and the kids absolutely loved them! Fall is the perfect time to visit, with gorgeous foliage, crisp mountain air, and easy access to the trails. We would happily stay here again!

Roaring Forks Fall, which is less than 10 minutes from the cabin, makes for a great morning or late afternoon walk. And with the South Toe River meandering throughout the area there is definitely a tranquility about the place. In fact, you can hear it in the distance while relaxing on the front porch! I always look forward to a new trail each and every visit. I hope you will consider visiting again!

Wonderful Stay!!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this mountain cabin! The cabin is beautiful and is perfect for what we were looking for. It was very clean and well stocked for the kitchen needs. We are looking forward to booking another trip here!

Marvelous Mt Mitchell stay!

Marvelous Mt Mitchell stay! This two-story cabin was filled with wonderful amenities. We found everything comfortable and inviting and would not hesitate to rent it again.

Great stay in the NC mountains!!

Easy to find following GPS. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is a great place for families, quiet neighborhood. The house is perfect!! The kitchen & dining area are set up for families, and the den with fireplace is cozy!! I will definitely try to stay here again. Thank you Cynthia

Yes! The cabin has a great location 10 minutes walking distance to the Sanctuary which allows families to enter the golf course for a leisurely walk, bike ride, or run while enjoying the South Toe River which runs alongside it. One of the many things to do in the area as a family. We hope you will visit again!

It was just great. We are from Florida and we go to NC every year. This house is cozy, comfortable, we loved the fire pit and comfy beds. They have grill, we made chicken, salmon, stakes:) it’s close to many hikes. We saw the dears! Awesome place. Thank you Cynthia:)

Our host was extremely attentive and very easy to work with. The home is beautifully appointed/decorated, very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed both interior fireplaces and the fire pit. The kitchen was well-stocked and we lacked for nothing to enjoy full meals. With two living levels, our clan of (4) adults and (2) teenagers were able to spread out nicely. The WiFi supported all of our devices easily. With family in the area, we hope to visit this property again in the future

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property! The home was exactly as described—extremely clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. It was so warm and inviting-we felt like we were staying at a family member’s house! The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of extra linens making our stay so comfortable.We traveled with three children and they had a ball exploring the backyard, front and side yards. Perfect for families and there was plenty to do while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.Cynthia was so friendly, responsive, and provided excellent communication before and throughout our stay. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for a fantastic experience!!

The house is fabulous. Super-comfortable beds, ultra quiet - no street noise, only nature all around. I could even here the rush of the nearby South Toe River. Cynthia, the owner, is awesome, very responsive and accommodating to our family's needs. Than you Cynthia for a memorable stay.

Lovely, hospitable home

We enjoyed a wonderful stay over the holidays. The home was clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the ambiance of the home and were able to host a lovely dinner for our family. We would stay here again for the beautiful home and location.
