Hands down the most well thought out rental we have stayed in. Everything you could need plus plenty of extras- like a fully equipped picnic basket! Our favorite part of the stay was drinking coffee fireside while watching deer meander through the forest.

Nordic Overlook provides the🐦 ideal setting to see fall in Northeast Georgia mountains. The fire pit only makes the experience that much better! It’s a magical time of the year when summer gives way to fall, and everything just feels right.

Nearby, you can explore cascading waterfalls (Fall Branch Falls, Long Creek Falls, Sea Creek Falls + Amicola Falls) and the tranquil waters of North Georgia’s finest lakes. Nice, quirky little place

It's just secluded enough, but still close to lots of things. We hit Montaluce Vineyards for an excellent dinner, very much enjoyed the tour and spirits at Big Creek distillery, did some hiking, and even made it to the outlet mall in Dawsonville. Cheers!

Wonderful mountain retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nordic Overlook. Just the right distance from the college, the wineries, and great hiking locations. Our host was helpful and communicative. We will definitely stay again next time we're visiting UNG.

Not too remote with easy access to main roads and downtown area. Just hiking up and down the long driveway will be a workout!

Private and secluded

We had a wonderful time here. Only bad part is wish we could’ve stayed longer. Cabin cute comfortable and all the supplies you need. The fire pit with wood was a plus! The Host was great and helpful. We will definitely be back in the future.
