The Iris is located in the ‘Cannonborough-Elliotborough’ neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is the most upcoming neighborhood on the peninsula with new businesses opening on every corner. The oldest part of Charleston is a few block area where the first City walls were and it is located in what is now called the French Quarter. This is typically what people are referring to when they refer to the "tourist area". There are no Short Term Rentals in the French Quarter due to city zoning laws. All of our properties are located in the Old City District and 1 block from King Street where almost all of the shopping, new restaurants, and bars are located. We would love to welcome you back to Charleston in the future!
