The Roof Top studio offers a private retreat with a small pool located on the rooftop, exclusively for guests. The terrace is fully equipped with a charcoal grill, sink, fridge, smart TV, and high-speed WIFI. The view from the rooftop is truly breathtakingā€”watch the sunrise and sunset while relaxing by the pool or grilling your favorite meals. Itā€™s a unique spot, and I hope youā€™ll love it as much as I do.

The studio includes:

A comfortable King-size pillow-top mattress.
65ā€ smart TV and high-speed internet
A full-size closet and full bathroom
A mid-size kitchen with an electric stove, blender, coffee maker, and all the essentials to cook your favorite meals.
A 5-gallon purified water jug with an electric pump (Refill as needed at most convenience stores)
If you're staying for 28 days or more, youā€™re eligible for complimentary weekly housekeeping upon request. For your convenience, thereā€™s also a washer and dryer available downstairs, though youā€™ll need to bring your own detergent. (Two wash loads per week)

Location

Casa Las Palmas is just two blocks from Sam's Club and a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, gyms, and more. The ocean and ferry terminal are about 1 mile away, a quick 10-minute drive, and the airport is just 7 minutes away. You can park your rental car outside the property, but if youā€™re renting scooters, I highly recommend parking them inside for added security. If you rent my scooters, they must be parked inside the property.

Such a great place to stay. Seamless check in and out. Received instructions on the app and everything opened up and unlocked like it was supposed to. The room is very nice and clean. The bathroom is very nice. It has a closet and shelves for all of your clothes and belongings. Kitchen has the essentials to prepare a small meal. Nice sized fridge. The bed, in my opinion, is very comfortable and the pillows are nice as well. The deck right outside the door is good spot to hang out in the shade. The rooftop really is the spot to be though. It has a sink, and a fridge(same size as in the apartment) and a charcoal grill. TV and WiFi worked upstairs to stream. Two regular setting chairs. A couple of layout chairs upstairs would be nice. Look around for light switches at night. Itā€™s super cool once everything is lit up. The pool up top is bigger than I thought it was going to be. For being in full sun the water was quite cold. So much so that we hardly got in it. This was my only issue with the whole place. It really is a sweet setup and I know there is nothing that can be done about the pool temp. I was under the impression that it was private for only the people staying in this particular unit but we did have some visitors up there 1 night that woke us up. Main roads are to the south and the west only a couple of blocks away. Plenty of places to eat and shop for essentials or anything else. We rented a car but there are plenty of taxis on the main roads.8/10 would stay again

Jaime is a great host. No issues whatsoever. He has 4 villas now, but you cannot beat the upstairs villa with the roof-top pool. Beautiful property. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Place to Stay!

This was our second stay at the property. We are already planning our next stay. The property is safe and secure. It's a quite neighborhood. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool or on the upper lanai. Jaime was a great host and had good communication. The unit was clean and comfortable. Thank you.

Charming home base for exploring Cozumel

We stayed four nights. Loved the safe quiet neighborhood, rooftop pool, lounges, sunset and sunrise views, the whimsical wall murals, having a kitchen and Netflix. Snorkeled, went birding with Elvis Jimenez, visited the world class museum on the waterfront, and discover 100 Experiences, a delightful culinary exploration of Mexico just next door. Birds Eye view of Cozumel

We stayed in this incredible studio apartment with private rooftop lounging area and pool. Every morning enjoying coffee relaxing on a very large lounge area equipped with comfortable lounge chairs. Many birds to watch and enjoy. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. I would recommend renting scooters or a car to get around this beautiful area

Incredible Experience

My wife and I spent five nights at Jaimeā€™s place for our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. Jaime was by far the best host weā€™ve ever had. His communication was exceptionalā€”whether by text or phone, he was always available and responded within minutes to any question we had.As it was our first time in Cozumel, knowing we could rely on Jaime for recommendations and assistance made our stay much more relaxing. Whether we needed advice on local spots or had specific concerns about our stay, Jaime was quick to offer helpful answers. When we had a small issue with the water pressure, I reached out late at night, and by the time we woke up the next morning, it was already fixedā€”such a great example of his attentiveness and care for his guests.The property itself was pristine. The place was spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. The large HD TV was perfect for cozy movie nights. The bathroom, in particular, was a highlightā€”immaculate from the sink to the shower, which was a big plus for us as self-proclaimed clean freaks.Jaimeā€™s local knowledge really enhanced our trip, and his attention to detail made the entire experience that much more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here!

Awesome Property!!

The property is just as described and as pictured. My wife and I had a great time! The neighborhood is quite and safe. There is a wonderful cafe close by (Cafe MX) and taco place (Taco Nortenos) is just around the corner. The unit has everything you need to make meals. The pool was refreshing. Jamie the owner was very responsive when we had a couple of questions (not issues). We have already booked next year's vacation for the same unit. We have found our new Cozumel paradise. Thank you.

A hidden gem....away from tourist areas

My second time staying in one of Jamie's units....my first time in The Rooftop unit. Its brand new and very well set up....I had bad weather for first part of my stay..and could not dive...so stayed in unit more than usual....jamie has Netflix and all sorts of choices on the internet TV...which made being inside alot nicer. There is a private pool that comes with the Rooftop unit along with 2 patios.....one with grilling area/fridge TV internet.....its VERY nice....thats why I keep coming back. Jamie is a phone call away but didnt need to contact him .Trust me folks This is how to enjoy Cozumel....the neighborhood is very safe and I love meeting and interacting with the locals...." I'll Be BACK"

The studio was perfect for my husband and I. There's so many outdoor spaces to enjoy, not a detail was missed. Jaime the host was very friendly and easy to deal with. He went above and beyond what was required of him. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Short Stay

We stayed at the aprtment for three nights, but could and would definately stay for longer!! We loved all aspects of the apartment, it looked great on the photos and it didn't disappoint. it has got a lovely feel about it and we couldn't believe how much space we had. Loved the decor and the way that it had been finished. We also enjoyed the location being away from the tourist crowds. In our short stay we made sure we made use of all the different areas, relaxing on the shaded patio and cooling down in the roof top pool. Communication with Jaime was excellent throughout our stay and his family members who met us at the beginning and end of the trip were helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay

Lovely property! We stayed 2 weeks for our honeymoon and really enjoyed the rooftop pool space! The room was clean and tidy, high quality sheets and towels. The indoor kitchen space was much more spacious than we expected from the pictures and had everything we needed. We did have a small issue with the air conditioning that was repaired promptly and professionally, the caretaker was very attentive and all the maintenance staff and fellow guests were wonderful. Property was walking distance to grocery and several local restaurants, lots of room for parking a rental car. 5 min walk to a main road to hail a taxi, 5 min ride downtown 10 min ride to local beach or beach club. I would recommend this property to friends and family and will likely book again next year!

A relaxing environment.

My wife and I spent Feb at the Hobbit and very much enjoyed it. The roof-top private pool and patio area were very relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe in the area. Although their wasn't an onsite property manager available as anticipated the host was always accessible via messenger and was able to help us with any questions that arose. The internet worked well and we were able to stream entertainment on the TV's and our personal equipment. It is conveniently located close to grocery shopping and we found several nice eating establishments in the area. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The best spot to stay in Cozumel with an excellent guide!

I stayed here once before because the host was so incredibly helpful in helping me have an unforgettable time in Cozumel. I chose to stay here for a second time with all the renovations, and, wow, this place is incredibly improved! Both times I stayed upstairs but this time there was the hobbit area with the private rooftop pool and kitchen. I really enjoyed it. There is also the pool and kitchen downstairs and the wide deck/dance area on the second floor. I loved waking up in the morning to the city and sunlight views. I will be coming back with my girlfriend because I know she is going to love it. I also really appreciate the hospitality and guidance. Thank you so much and see you next year!
