Usually, when I write reviews, I try to provide a couple of ideas for improvement but I can’t really do that this time. The location is not in the touristy part of town but it’s an easy walk to get there. The pool is wonderful, the room is spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

With only 4 units in a beautifully tended setting, Stingray Villa is a jewel. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and the waterfront, it is also a perfect place to chill out and relax by the pool. The hosts Greg and Sylvia were friendly and easy to communicate with, and their blog and guidebook provided all the major info you might need as a visitor to Cozumel. Perfect place for relaxation and comfort

My boyfriend and i stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Cozumel. The property is on a quiet street very close to Calle 30 which has amazing restaurants one of which is called K’ooben La that we went to four times lol. Also very close to the main downtown but far enough away that you aren’t disturbed. There are only four units in the complex so it really is very private which was super nice. The pool was refreshing and our AC in the room was excellent. Communication was seamless and easy with Greg and Silvia. Would definitely stay here when we come back to Cozumel!

Thank you so much for your wonderful 10/10 review! We’re thrilled that you found it the perfect place for relaxation and comfort during your time in Cozumel. The quiet street location—close to Calle 30 and downtown, yet peacefully removed from the noise—is exactly what many of our guests appreciate about staying at Stingray Villa. It’s great to hear you enjoyed dining at K’ooben Lab (four times is the best kind of compliment to a restaurant! 😊). We love it when guests discover local favorites within walking distance. We’re also glad the privacy of the small four-unit property, the refreshing pool, and the strong A/C made your stay extra comfortable. We truly value seamless communication, so your kind words about it mean a lot. We would absolutely love to host you again on your next trip to Cozumel!

Lovely little place!

Loved Stingray Villa. Will be staying there in the future. Great location off the beaten path and quiet. Easy walk to everything you need. The only thing missing was a microwave. We knew this going in so we bought groceries that didn't need to be heated. My guess is Greg doesn't want them in the rooms to limit liabilty from guests cooking in the rooms. Whatever his reason just know going in you'll need to plan accordingly when buying food. Literally dozens of great restaruants within 5 minutes of walking. About a 10 minute walk to the waterfront and a 15 minute walk to the ferry terminal. Greg and Silvia have created a wonderful little hide-a-way close to everything you need in Cozumel.

Thank you so much for your perfect 10/10 review! We’re truly honored that this is where you always choose to stay when visiting the island. That kind of loyalty means the world to us. We’re so glad you enjoy the clean, thoughtfully decorated space and those peaceful mornings with coffee by the pool in the warm sunshine—such a great way to start the day in Cozumel. Your kind words about the hosting and local knowledge are deeply appreciated. We love helping guests discover more of what the island has to offer, including scenic drives and relaxing spots on the east side. Thank you again for your continued trust in Stingray Villa. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next island escape!
