Memorial week 40th yr

We enjoyed our stay and wanted to rent for next yr , that was a terrible experience … we were quoted a price and i asked for the contract … they changed the price sighting the owners ( who own the property management Bask Away) had increased the price because of market analysis … thankful we found a beach front five star house that will accommodate our large family group in 2026

Truly is as good as it gets

Beautiful home. Great location. Wonderful amenities. Had a great family vacation with 10 adults and 8 children. We’re a sports family and besides the beach and pool, we had great fun with 3 generations playing pickleball, ping pong, and mini golf.

We were unable to get the fireplace inside the house working but it was not a deal breaker.The only thing that really needs to be added to this property would be a 1/2 bath at the pool and a sink at the bar. We were very suprised that these two minor investments had not been made for a property this vast. It was REALLY inconvenient to have to go up a flight of stairs everytime we needed to use the restroom or wash/rinse something out from the bar area.

A Week That Was Truly AS GOOD AS IT GETS

The name says it all with numerous amenities we were able to take full advantage of. A short walk to the beach with beautiful views from the top of the ocean as well as the inlet marsh. This location was amazing and delivered a week of special memories for all it had to offer. We played pickleball, ping pong, enjoyed S'mores out by the pool and relaxed in the pool with the calming sound of the waterfall from the attached hot tub.

HEAVEN IN MYRTLE BEACH

Our family of 24 had never ending enjoyment everyday during our stay. Between playing basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, corn hole, putt putt gulf, indoor games, pool table, ping pong table, and best of all walking across the road we had our own public beach access to the sandy beach and ocean. Everyday our family gathered at the swimming pool and hot tub for a friendly squirt gun fight . Maintenance staff was beyond helpful and prompt. We even had a chance to meet the owner of the house. Was an "honor" to meet the person that made our family vacation destination one that we will NEVER forget. A bonus was all the extra's in the kitchen. XXL refrigerator, two ice makers, extra dishes, electric griddle, two dishwashers, and don't forget the crockpot. (You can tell I'm the cook) We rented two six passengers golf carts that we could ride on the road for miles. We watched the amazing sunrise and sunsets from the porch while sitting in the rocking chairs. This place is "Heaven". I don't think you can find another home in Myrtle Beach that your family will enjoy more than this one. I'm sure we will return in the near future.

Great location

The beach house is in an excellent location. It is very close to the beach with the access point being almost directly across the street. The house had a great setup and my whole family felt comfortable during our stay. Most of us felt the beds were very comfortable. One person in our party of 10 thought they were too soft. The outdoor amenities were some of the best I’ve seen. We loved the pool, hot tub, outdoor television, outdoor shower, putting green and basketball hoop. I thought there was some room for improvement when it came to cleanliness. The floors especially seemed like they could have been cleaner. Unfortunately I felt like I spent a lot of time at the beginning of the week reaching out about a variety of issues we were having with the rental. When we arrived the hot water was not working in half the bedrooms, both keurigs weren’t working and the peloton that was advertised didn’t have the cords to allow it to work. They did fix the hot water on Sunday but it sounded like it was a temporary fix that would need a permanent solution. The keurigs were eventually replaced. The issue with the peloton was never rectified. Several of us noticed bugs in the house and at least 3 palmetto bugs were found inside. Not the end of the world but I’ve been staying in Myrtle beach for several years and this was the first time I’ve seen a palmetto bug inside. Overall we had a nice time and give this house high marks for the location and outdoor amenities.

The location is great with minimal traffic. The home was clean and very spacious for our group of 21. The beds were very comfortable and everyone appreciated having their own bathroom. Beach access was just a few steps away across the street. We greatly enjoyed the pool, hot tub and playing pickleball. Unfortunately, we requested that the pickleball net be up when we arrived on Saturday but it wasn't. After multiple calls and messages with no response the net was dropped off in the middle of the court on Sunday afternoon and we had to put it up ourselves. On Monday maintenance showed up to put the net up but it was too late. We rented a golf cart but no one told us where the keys were and no one responded util late Sunday afternoon to tell us where the keys were. This was frustrating and created stress for our trip. We were not able to play pickleball or use the golf cart until late on Sunday. Aside from the lack of communication and the issues with the golf cart and pickleball net we really enjoyed the house. We had a great experience with booking the home, check in and check out. It would have been nice if there was a bathroom at the pool instead of having to go up to the next level but we made it work. I would highly recommend an alternative method to reach someone that could quickly resolve any issues. The texting option and email failed to provide a response. Regardless, I would recommend this wonderful vacation home. I just hope management will take action to prevent this from happening to others in the future. A follow up call would have been appreciated to see if everything was resolved.

Best Vacation Rental Ever!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is truly full of goodness - beautiful decor, bathrooms in every room, comfy beds, amazing views, and a great, funtional layout. We were grateful for the option to have the pool heated and truly enjoyed every activity this house had to offer! We played a lot of basketball but also pickle ball (the Bask Away team was amazing to set up a net for us). We loved being close to the beach and were amazed by how big it was. We loved everything about our stay and hope to come back again!
