Welcome to Culvers Corner! This 2 bedroom, 2 full bath home is perfect for 2 couples or a small family who want to enjoy lake life at its best. Our gorgeous Lake Home was renovated in 2021/2022 with a modern lake-chic look. This retreat is just steps to your private lakefront property featuring spectacular views of Culvers Lake and the Stokes Stake Forest area of the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy Swimming in the spring fed lake, fishing or just relaxing on the dock.
Inside make more memories in the open concept living room and kitchen. In the winter curl up by the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen offers everything you need to create an unforgettable meal with family or friends. The kitchen island has seating for 4 and off the kitchen is a spacious sun porch with a farm table for 6. For outdoor dining there is an 800 sq. ft deck.

Master Bedroom with King bed and En-suite Bath with shower.
Guest Bedroom with Queen bed (2nd full bath with tub/shower in hallway)

Our stay was outstanding. The home was charming and Kristen is a Super Host! The surrounding area was beautiful including the rental. We talked about a difference, most times, in the comfort and coziness of any rental. Thus home was like being in my home. Host was very responsive. All in all, we will likely return next year to this property. It was that nice!

Relax

Perfect location to all lake amenities, side yard for grankids to play in, nice grill on the spacious wrap around deck although rainy weather didn’t use it, clean comfortable open concept makes it feel so large, putting a TV in the master bedroom would be a nice extra bonus! We will be back!

Perfect lake house!

This is a beautiful lake house! So fresh and new and well appointed spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Exactly right for us. Kristin is a very response and responsible host. Great location with easy lake access. We plan to return again next year!

Wonderful Christmas getaway

The house was wonderful with a new kitchen and master bathroom. The heated floor in the master bath made the cold weather more bearable. Great location, very clean and well kept. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Beautiful home

My brother and I were in town to visit family in Hampton. Normally we need to stay at a hotel almost 40 minutes away. This was a warm and cozy alternative, and the hosts were fantastic!

Our third visit

Once again, we enjoyed our stay at this house, situated across the street from Culver Lake. My (adult) stepdaughter even used the stand up paddleboard on a crisp fall morning. We were past peak fall colors but the scenery for our walks was still beautiful. The house was again clean, with all the necessary items for a comfortable stay.

Clean and comfortable

The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were here for a wedding and it was mostly cloudy and raining so didn’t spend too much time at the property.

Clean cozy lake house

This house is absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable. As a young family we tend to eat at home more than go out and this kitchen was more than equipped with new (or new looking) utensils and pots and pans. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Couples Get Away

The house was immaculate! Amenities were great. Kitchen appeared recently remodeled with new appliances. Plenty of areas to relax. The sun room and the back patio, both spacious and comfortable. My husband and I and another couple came up to getaway. The guys went fishing while the ladies relaxed. I would suggest a larger television in the living room with additional seating and televisions in the bedrooms. Other than the televisions I couldn’t ask for a better place for a getaway!!!

Another great stay at this property

My husband and stepdaughter stayed while attending a workshop at Peter's Valley. Once again, the house did not disappoint. Breakfast on the dock, time on the porch and quiet evenings inside. The host is very responsive. We highly recommend.

Great End to The Summer

It was a relaxing stay at The Lake. Just in time before my son starts school, and husband starts a new job. My favorite activity was 'Lake Television'... going down to the dock with a cup of Joe, or at the end of the day to watch the sunset and changes on the water was pure magic! Thanks for a lovely and cozy stay!

A lovely stay near Peter’s Valley

My husband took a five day woodworking class at Peter’s Valley Craft School. This property was about 20 minutes away and convenient to my daytime activities which I enjoyed with a friend. The house was clean, relaxing, and in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. The bed was comfortable. The dock across the street that belongs to the property was nice for a late afternoon or evening glass of wine. We used the kayaks though I think we missed a part of the lake to the left. There are Adirondack chairs on the dock. There are stairs to the right of the dock for easy kayak or swimming entry. We saw people swimming but we did not as we were out most days. Highlights in the area - falls at Dingman’s Park, kayaking on the Delaware with Adventure Sports, spending an afternoon painting at Lake Oquittunk, (flattish) hikes at Pocono Education Center and a trail near Peter’s Valkey, and dining at lakefront restaurants. My husbnd loved his workshop and will be returning to the house in the fall for another workshop.

Second July 4th holiday at this home

The house is adorable and conveniently located to the lake and everything else you need. The homeowners are easy to communicate with, no issues at all!

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Beautifully furnished and decorated house, immaculate. The whole area and lake were very quiet. Lots of privacy. Enjoyed the large deck and screened in porch. Great host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to stay!

We were in the area for a family wedding. Kristin and Henry have a beautiful home! The area is great with Culver lake right there. There are kayaks, paddle boards available for use. The house is open and bright with a huge deck. Everything is up to date, clean and comfortable! Couldn't have asked for more!

calm house with lake view

Close to Culver lake, with separate lake access, located on the outskirts of town beautifully renovated house that has everything you need for a relaxing time. Even in the harsh winter it was always warm, quietly decorated and very functionally furnished. The heatable winter garden extends the living room to a dining room - with a beautiful view of nature. We felt very comfortable. If it fits, we will come again.

Lovely lake house

We stayed here while visiting relatives, who live in Branchville, at Thanksgiving. Although we only used it for sleeping, it was VERY nice! Looks like an awesome spot for a summer stay
