Sand Dollars & Sunsets was a wonderful place. The location was close to the beach and within walking distance to the Ice Cream Shop. The house had a great layout and view of the beach. It was nicely decorated and clean. They had a brand-new grill for outdoor cooking. It was just me and the wife on this trip, so we had more than enough room, but we could have easily had the 5 kinds with us and still felt comfortable. The only negative which didn't impact us in the truck, is that the road to the house needs some love. Several large holes and is unpaved. We will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful home, perfect location

We really enjoyed staying in this home, the location was perfect! Easy access to the beach, walking distance to the Trading Post. The porch was our favorite spot to have morning coffee and a glass of wine at sunset!

Excellent Beach Stay!

We enjoyed our stay! Great location, just steps from the beach. The house was very clean. The kitchen had all necessary cookware and utensils. The screened porch was great!

In all of our years renting vacation homes for our family, this is the ONLY house we have sought out to return to again. It wasn't worth shopping for variety and value when this one had everything we needed. It didn't disappoint again. Proximity to the beach. Privacy. A perfect outdoor space for family and furry friends together. Sign us up again!

Can’t get better than this!

The best experience! Location, space, convenience, clean!! Prayers that everyone who stays there will treat it like their own home or better!! We made reservations for next year before we left last week!

Beautiful beach stay

This home was clean, beautiful and fully stocked. The pictures dont even do it justice. Every window off the back had a beautiful view of the water. The back porch swing was a beautiful and so relaxing. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Great house

The house is very clean and the kitchen well stocked with anything you might need and everything is of good quality. We enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean from the large screen porch.

Awesome week

What a great house! We loved that the master was right off the living area, and the location was grand. We also appreciated everything being on one level. We will be back!

Relaxing Time on the Beach in January

Regardless of the uncooperative January weather, we had a wonderful and relaxing time at Sand Dollars and Sunsets. The house had everything we needed, and we loved the screened porch facing the ocean. We would definitely stay at this location again...maybe in March or October though!

A Perfect Family Spot

This property was everything we expected it to be and more. The single-level living area was spacious with great separation from the master suite to the guest bedrooms where our kids had the feel of their own side of the house. The outdoor, wrap-around porch was spacious, with great views of the water, and a nice mix of screened-in areas and outdoor space. With two dogs in tow, we never felt like they didn't have a space, and it was easy to keep them out of the living areas after time on the beach.Speaking of the beach, the access is wonderful, and this particular stretch of beach gives you plenty of space to stretch out. As far as spots on the Forgotten Coast, this is about as good as it gets.

Cold temperatures

Upon arrival, the outside water line for water hose was frozen and had burst. I called/texted the rental person and had immediate response! A plumber was there Christmas Eve night and repaired the leak. The next morning there wasn’t any water due to the main pumping station on the Cape being frozen. We didn’t have much water for a couple days, but that is no fault of the rental company. Great house to rent, close to beach and great sunset shots!
