Great stay for a big group

Great property. Pictures are well taken and you can be confident you get what you see. Lots of extras to keep the group entertained (board games, pool, lawn games, etc.).

Sisters weekend!

This was the best sisters day we ever had! The place was packed with games we haven't played in years! We were hoping to walk around the area but was forced to stay inside due to the cold and wind. We were never board because there was sooo much to do inside. It was the perfect place for the five of us! We would love to stay there again but maybe when it is warmer!

Home away from home

The property was perfect for our getaway. It provided every form of entertainment you could think of. The location is absolutely prime with just a few steps away from everything. We totally enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone looking to get away and have all the comforts of home.

Family Beach Vacation

Perfect location, near the beach, casino and all the fun. Loads of activities whether your 7 or 70. The kids and even the adults loved the video games and pool table. House was very clean and open concept kitchen was a hit.

Entertaining, comfortable and responsive hosts!

Stayed here with family for Thanksgiving. With all our kids (including cousins), the house offered plenty of space and entertainment with the standing video games, pool table, and foosball machines.the family was able to dance, play and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. The hosts were very responsive to questions. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again. Although we stayed for a holiday, there was an amusement park nearby, local restaurants and breakfast options right on the water. This is likely an amazing option on warm spring or summer days!

Great stay

Enjoyed the place for the long weekend on labor day with friends. The place was clean and well stocked with all that’s needed! Great location to all the restaurants and bar. Short walk to canal to watch the boats. The communication was good as well. Quick responses with questions. We were very pleased and looking forward to staying again!

Enjoyable Easter weekend

The house was very spacious with lots of activities for all ages. My sons are in college and they spent hours at night playing pool and video games. The town is cute and we were lucky enough to find enough places open even though it was the off season. I am sure between the lake, canal, amusement park and all the shops and restaurants the town is probably hopping in season. We had an enjoyable stay

No hand soap in bathroom bathroom bathroom sink was filthy stuff left in kitchen sink keurig coffee pot didn't work. Had to shovel our car out in inches of snow but host was very pleasant. Sorry but I work @ a BNB

Cuse Homecoming visit

We had a large group come out to visit my son at Syracuse University. Even though the property was 40 minutes from campus, it provided a great home base for our visit. There was plenty of of space indoors and out to hang out, lots of games to keep everyone entertained, and great prep space for meals.

Prime location and plenty of space!

This property met all of our needs. We were there for my daughters wedding which was about 15 min away. We didnt spend a great deal of time in the house itself but when we did it was perfect for what we needed. It was spacious, clean, and had everything you could think of! The location is prime! Right across the street from the Lake House and restaurants were right next door. Codey was nice and greeted us when we arrived to make see if there was anything we needed. Looking to stay here again next summer with the family when we have more time to enjoy the area. literally had

Great week at Canalside!

We had a large group of friends (all men over 50) for a college reunion. The house and location to the village were ideal. There was plenty of room and perfect outdoor setting for late night food, drinks, and firepit. The local property manager was very helpful and provided great communication and support. Here are some quick tips for future renters: 1) bring basic cooking needs (oil, spices, wraps, etc.) and also bring laundry and dishwasher pods, 2) the showers are tight on space!, and 3) consider who sleeps where because mornings can be noisy with a larger group. Overall, a great experience and would recommend the house to anyone!

Park the car and walk to everything

This was our second extended family vacation to Sylvan beach. The last house was ok but this one was outstanding. There was plenty of room for aunts, uncles, cousins, and a grandparent to spread out. The location is close to the roadway and you would think it would be noisy but it was really quiet with very little noise. The beach, restaurants, ice cream, gift shops, were a quick walk. From playing at the arcades to walking on the beach there was something to do for everyone. We cooked almost every day and the kitchen had enough room for several people to be working on the meal. We used mostly paper plates for there was plenty of silverware and glasses for everyone.

Spacious

Nice Gathering Space. Our family loved the kitchen space. The open-ness of the dining area, kitchen area and living room. The arcade games and other table games were a huge hit for the kids, although a nice pocket door would be a huge plus for that arcade area to keep the noise in. The bedrooms were sufficient. We did need kitchen dish rags and hand towels. More garbage bags. Another nice touch would be soap dispensers in the shower units. A plug for the kitchen sink would have helped. Also putting in a regular door without a window to go to the master bedroom with a standard door knob. But other than those very small items It worked perfectly for our large family. We plan to book it again.

Excellant Location

A few disappointments. Backyard play area and seating was filthy. Brand new cushions for backyard seating was in unopened delivery box on back porch. We were told by Cody they were there. It is not our job to open these and place them out back. He was there. He should of. He stopped by the first night. However, being busy unpacking, a lot of these issues weren't discovered till much later. No hose to hose off out back. Covered with bugs and dirt. Door handle on playhouse on slide had long protruding metal on other side. not safe for 5 year old granddaughter to play up there.Upon arrival, I was told Cuba painting BR couldn't be used because previous guests broke bed frame. Another BR had Nothing on window for privacy.The BR my Daughter, her husband, and my granddaughter used had a very bright spotlight shining in BR from the outside.We understand it is for security. But, it was positioned toward the inside instead of outside of house. Only blinds in bedrooms, except for 1 BR that had nothing on window at all. Cheap curtains would of helped with room darkening. Close to lots of things to do for families. Loads of things for kids to do inside of place.Great offstreet parking for several cars. Great A/C.Great supply of bath towels, dishes, silverware, and utensils.Paid a lot of money and 2 BRs were basically unuseable. ! w/out window covering and 1 with broken bedframe. I feel I should be offered some sort of refund.

Sylvan Beach getaway

Property is very well maintained, kitchen well supplied, plenty of linens, games, entertainment for all ages, nice sitting areas in and outside. Nice gas grill and firepit, handicap accessible. Light switches mostly labeled correctly. Manager responded quickly to concerns.
