Overall, this was a great property for my family. The location of the property was excellent as we could see the ocean from our balcony. The one negative was the riot that took place on the 4th of July and the chaos it brought with it, but overall we enjoyed this property. We will most definitely consider staying here again in the future!

We can not stress enough how close this property is to the beach and how amazing the home itself is. Once we parked, we did not drive our vehicle again for our entire trip. Not only is the beach 50 steps away, but a grocery store, donut shop, starbucks, and the pier are within' a 5 minute walk as well. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Excellent location and space. Very close to the beach and to Newport Beach Pier...a short walk on the boardwalk with beautiful views. Difficult parking situation if you have more than 1 vehicle but was expected. Rooms were clean and spacious. However I had a difficult time communicating with the host and never did receive any check in or check out instructions. I downloaded an app per their instructions over the phone but there was minimal instructions on what was required upon departure. Being the house was very close to the beach there was a lot of sand but the vacuums (an upright and a hand held) did not work. We received the lock code from the agent but never received any other information from the host as promised. The upstairs neighbor let us know about how to access the washer and dryer and we figured out the rest to the best of our ability. It was a little frustrating to have to call for every question. The place was lovely despite the communication difficulties and we would definitely stay again.

Great location for a family vacation

Brought the family here while checking out some colleges in the area. Weather wasn’t great, but the sunsets were incredible.

This home was beyond disappointing. This home is not prepared for tenants. The home was beyond unsanitary. Every surface felt extremely dirty, months worth of dirt & grime everywhere. The floor was so dirty I couldn’t even let my children crawl around. Spent hours of my own time cleaning just to feel comfortable enough to bring our things inside. The counters had food all over them, food stuck to the sink, trash & food still in the living room. Every corner of the house had thick dust & clumps of hair. Bathrooms were moldy, toilets cracked & stained. Kitchen poorly stocked, had ONE half used roll of paper towels.Day 1- Management had someone come “touch up the floors”- just an annoyance didn’t help. Night 2 - had no running hot water & on Night 3 we came back from the beach with sandy children only to find no hot water again. Sent someone out the first time which again another disturbance to our stay, the gentleman reeked of alcohol at 9am & couldn’t find the issue. Thankfully, the hot water unit did power back on prior to his arrival. The 2nd time some kid showed up, he said he fixed it & when asked what he did so we could fix if it happened again he said “oh it was just on”. Day 4- checking out they had someone come again trek in & out of the house for 30 mins as we’re trying to pack up because the unit upstairs had no hot water. Management was quick to remedy but the remedies were subpar at best. Location was great, big patio, everything else was terrible. Beware!

Excellent Location. Needs to be Updated.

This property location is fabulous. The furniture is outdated and uncomfortable. Also, the kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes and cookware, but the spices were all outdated and stale. Also, no soaps for even washing hands. The property manager is extremely professional and on the ball.

Incredible location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay just ~50 feet from the beach in Newport. Only issue was a lower level of quality in property management than I'd expect (floors not swept/mopped before we arrived, beds not made just sheets rolled up for us to handle). Not a show-stopper, just felt like corners were getting cut a bit. Furniture and maintenance were a little dated as well, but it's a beach rental so expectations aren't supposed to be sky-high.

Great location but needs more service

The house was spacious and a perfect location near the beach. However, we had to put sheets on our own beds and unpack the towels that were wrapped up in plastic. For the price we paid, I expected the beds to be made and towels be folded on the towel rack and readily accessible. There were also only two tiny bars of soap and no shampoo. The towels were also very thin and worn and grayish. The kitchen was well stocked except for utensils. There were only five spoons. With just a little bit more effort, this place can get a better rating. There are so many places available to rent in that area that I don’t know if I would come back here. I would want to try another place first to see if I would get better service.

Great spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was great for our family of 5. The family room had enough couch space for us all to fit comfortably, and everyone slept well in the rooms. Very clean and organized home. The location is amazing - so close to the beach and a quick walk to restaurants and ice cream. Disappointed that they don’t keep at least a few beach towels in the home, though we brought our own so it didn’t matter. The WiFi password didn’t work and management responded immediately to fix it. Love the front porch to hang out and great to have the garage space for parking. Overall, an excellent rental! Will return!

The kitchen didn’t have a lot of bowls or containers to put food in which was a little difficult. We also felt like the home wasn’t very clean when we arrived. It would be amazing to have some carpet throughout the home. It would make it feel a little more cozy. With all tile you just have to wear shoes all of the time. Overall it was amazing though!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location, one block from the beach. We could not get into the property on time because it was still being 'cleaned' and we had to make our beds upon arrival (and strip them upon check out). The house smelled of bleach but it was not clean. The kitchen cabinets were sticky, personal garbage in bedroom, sand in sofa. The unit is in dire need of updating, the furniture is old and not in good condition. Needless to say we checked out early.

Nice place right across from the beach

Great location. Limited street parking + 1 garage spot. Problems: unit didn't come with soap, had to make our own bed, and the utility company shut off our power for a whole day (7 hours). But overall good stay.

Perfect Location and Comfortable home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay so much that I am already trying to plan my next trip and would love to stay here again if available. The location was PERFECT and just a few steps from the beach! It was so convenient to have a beach day and be able to just walk home to use the restroom, refill drinks, or grab a snack. Also, the BEST part was watching the sunset and sunrise. HIGHLIGHT of our trip was watching the sunrise one of the mornings and we saw a bunch of dolphins playing in the cove! Best Experience ever! We also loved that there was a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. If it's warm enough the patio was amazing to have breakfast at while listening to the ocean! Clean house with a well stocked kitchen. We cooked breakfast every morning and they had everything we needed to cook (besides the food of course). They even had extra board games on hand.The property management was so responsive and polite. We had to do after hours check-in and they were so responsive and made it such a smooth check-in and checkout. Very accommodating!
