This shallow pond warms quickly in Spring and is good for swimming until late September unlike the deeper nearby lakes. Perkins Pond offers 160 acres for fishing, water skiing, tubing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing and is seldom crowded. The largest resident powerboat is 23’. We suggest 20’ maximum. A picnic lunch on the lawn or deck will likely include waves and greetings from friendly neighbors as they enjoy their yards and boats. Gas and charcoal grills as well as picnic tables and lots of chairs are provided. An evening fire in the Chiminea is a great place to gather after a fun day. The game room has a pool table, foosball and air hockey for rainy days and after dark. There are 3 bedrooms with AC. One has a king bed and the other 2 have queens. The Great Room has a queen pull-out sofa-bed. Other amenities include: Washer/Dryer Full-size electric range, Dishwasher Microwave Two TV’s with Xfinity Cable, Internet and unlimited calls in the US.
